Forma - Premium Tumblr Theme

First of all, thank you for purchasing the theme!

This is a recent issue that some buyers have encountered. I have notified ThemeForest support, to make sure files are OK.

But what works for buyers is to open the “forma.html” file with Dreamweaver or any other free code editor. If you do not have one at hand, or if you are still encountering problems, feel free to send me your Tumblr credentials (via my profile page) and I will be happy to install the theme for you on the first upcoming business day (Monday).

1) If you can share the URL of your Tumblr account, I can have a look and be more helpful to you (feel free to email me if you do not want to give a link publicly).

2) I am afraid that there is no instant solution to that. Only the edges of the background are images (both gradients – for the main container and for the sidebar – are included in the download pack, folder “Images”) – and the rest is background color. Still, there are two possible solutions:

1. You can add this code in the Customize page of Turmbl, in Advanced > Add custom CSS :

   .main, .sidebar. {
       opacity: 0.8;
       filter:alpha(opacity=80);
       -moz-opacity: 0.80;
   }
   

   But note that all the columns will become transparent, not only their background. Still, you can change it to 0.9 to make them more visible. A professional advice from me as a side note – transparent backgrounds are bad for users.

2. The second solution is what you need, but it might not function on all browsers. In the same field “Add custom CSS ” paste this:

   .main, .sidebar {
       background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.6) !important;
   }
   

   Change the last value from 0.6 to whatever transparency you need. You will note that the background gradients are still visible – you have to open them with Photoshop (from the download pack, folder “Images”) and edit their transparency. Or, just get rid of the gradients in the theme code. So then the above rule will become:

   .main, .sidebar {
       background: rgba(255,255,255,0.6) transparent !important;
   }
