It seems that the product images with cloud zoom is not working. Say a products has 5 images. The first/default image can be zoomed and works fine but when you click the thumbnails below it, it won’t zoom, it won’t load and it doesn’t work at all. Even on the Fortis demo page. Please help.

As you can see all works totally fine on the demo site. Please send a link to your site if you have problems with configuring you Magento.

The first/default image loads and it zooms on hover but when clicking on other images/thumbnails below it, it would say the image is loading but actually it loads but it wont zoom in. Clicking on it goes to the image link/path. Tried it on the fortis demo site and has the same thing… Im using firefox… Tried it on chrime and its same thing… Hope this help.

Your site works perfectly fine on all web browsers, no errors. Maybe the problem is in your server or slow internet connection: when you click the image before it is loaded it redirects you to that image. But on normal connection this doesn’t happen.

I have another problem with the footer. I have enable the footer but the columm isn’t visible, set the value on 120 but doesn’t work. How can i get the footer like the demo view? also with facebook twitter etc?

Please see the user guide for details: chapter “11.3 Footer”. You need to create your content if you want to display something in the footer. For example, create a static block with identifier block_footer_links_column1, sample content is available in the user guide.

I’m very interestd in this theme, and I know it’s in the pipeline to be made responsive, but do you have a more precise scope when this will happen?
Also I just took a quick look on IE7 , it looked “ok” Is there a reason why IE7 is not listed ? I’ve seen other themes that say they’re okay for IE7 but there I could spot nasty bugs on first sight ande here it seems all okay.

You’re right, the theme works pretty well in IE7 . In the past there were some minor issues, that’s why IE7 was not listed. Current issues: cart drop-down is not visible and welcome message is not aligned properly.
Unfortunately we don’t have precise schedule yet. But all updates are free so you will be able to update your store when the new version is released.

the reason i want to wait is ‘cause I want to tweak some things in it and if there’s a new release (and a responsive is quite a big “release”) It might break all my tweaks.
Do you expect it to be in the pipeline for November?

I would like to know if its possible not to use tabs in the product page. I would like the additional info tab (attribute tab) show after product description so my costumer wouldnt need to click on the tab to show.

There’s no such feature by default, you would need to make custom changes in the template responsible for tabs.

How can I set the height of the logo to make it higher? It doesn’t matter if the space increases from the top through the main menu.
By the way, no man… The flag thing is not getting fixed. I tried 2 things to fix it, 1 was to name the USA flag as en2.png, and in “Manage Stores” the code I also put it en2, but it didn’t work, the English flag was still appearing. So I deleted the en.png flag of England and set the USA flag as en.png but the English flag still appears! I cleared my browser’s cache and everything!... FINALLY ! The problem with the flag has been solved…. Something weird was going on in the General Config > Locale… I had English (United States), I changed it to Spanish and then back to english US and it worked perfectly… Perhaps something was not well-saved… I still have not found the solution to the Logo’s height modification though :/

Static height is set for
.header a.logo. You can change it in the CSS files but the background image and other elements of the header also have static height so you would need to customize CSS for many elements.So you mean that if I only want to change the height of the logo, I should change the height of many other elements?
Yes, this theme doesn’t have liquid layout, so enlarging the logo will break the current layout.
Hi, Love the new feature with the images on the update!
I have a question about the ribbons for the SALE and NEW products. Is is possible to have one for SOLD OUT ? If so how do you do it? Hi, We’re glad that you like it.
There are only labels for “new” and “sale” products, there’s no feature like “sold out”. Unfortunately we’ve never tested that extension, we’re unable to say if it works with Fortis.

Hi – I have ‘wide grey stripes’ repeating down the page (almost as if the header background is repeating perhaps?) I am running firefox on a mac, but also have the same display issue in safari.
I had installed version 1.2 and then upgraded to 1.4

This is just incorrect configuration, please see the screenshot on page 9 in the user guide and enable the theme in the same way.

We’ve never tried to add HTML in the welcome message, I don’t know if it is possible. This is default Magento feature, not related with this theme so you just need to try it in System > Config > Design > Welcome Text
