So far after update I realize when I trying to open Permision->Rules I am getting error “Class ‘Mage_Ultimo_Helper_Data’ not found in /home/xxxxx/public_html/app/Mage.php on line 547
Please could you advise.
We’ll check that asap.
Edit: thanks for notice, we’ll upload an update today.
Could you tell what files should to replace instead of uploading all files?
Update is ready for download, modified files are listed in the Changelog.txt.
How would I be able to disable the recently viewed product that shows up on the left side of the product subcategory list page. I would like it to show the categories option instead that shows up on the parent product list page. However this doesn’t appear on the product subcategory pages.
The “recently viewed products” block is Magento’s default, it’s not part of the theme so you would need to modify magento, e.g.: http://www.magentocommerce.com/knowledge-base/entry/turning-on-off-magentos-content-blocks
Please clarify the second part of your question, I’m not sure what you want to do with the categories.
Under the Customer Account page where there are the following categories such as ACCOUNT DASHBOARD
How would I be able to disable for example the : Billing Agreements Tab?
Hi, can I know how to customize the theme to look like Demo 3, with the banner slider and categories block on the left?
You would need to enable 2-columns layout for your home page (please see this chapter in the user guide for details: 6.1.1 Home page layout).
And then enable the sidebar menu for your home page column, it can be done under:
System > Configuration > Menu > Sidebar Menu > Enable Sidebar Menu
(chapter 13.4.5 Sidebar Menu)
Thanks for the prompt reply I found that what I need to do for the sidebar is to set the Page: Fortis – Fully Responsive Magento Theme | Demo 3 to All Store Views and the sidebar will appear.
Would it be possible to swap the position of the search bar with the Welcome _ so that the search bar is below the Welcome _user_ text?
You would need to customize the template file which is responsible for the header.
To check which template files you need to edit to customize specific sections of Magento, you can enable Magento’s “Template Path Hints”, it will display the names of template file of each block in the front-end. Please see this short video tutorial for more details: http://vimeo.com/1067069
More details about theme/Magento customization can be found in the user guide: 5. Customization
Before Purchase i like to know i can install SM Tabs listing on index page instead of New or Recommended Products ?
its hard to install 3rd party extensions on theme ?
This theme can work with any extension which was correctly integrated. Unfortunately we’re unable to guarantee that third-party extensions will work “out of the box” with our theme. Each extension modifies theme/Magento functionality, so it’s not up to us how it will work. I’m unable to advise on this specific extension as we’ve never tested it.
Ajax login, register and whislist responsive ?
update or What extension choose which works without conflict with fortis theme?
Ajax cart ?
Update or What extension choose which works without conflict with fortis theme?
Unfortunately we don’t have any to recommend (we don’t test extensions because there are thousands of them). This theme can work with any extension which was correctly integrated with Magento.
I’ve got a big problem, where I spend few hours ! I can’t understand.

After creating new store views, please go to System > Configuration > Fortis > Theme Design, select “Default Config” under Current Configuration Scope in the top left corner of this section of the admin and then click “Save Config” button.
Then go to System > Configuration > Fortis > Theme Layout and click “Save Config” button again. Then flush all caches and clear your web browser’s cache.
I have an problem regarding the product images. The product images are not displaying for particular category.I did the same procedure which was given in the user guide. Please help me out from the problem.Thank You.
Problems with product images are not theme related, it indicates incorrect file permissions on the server or missing files.
For support please kindly use the account which was used to buy the theme on ThemeForest.
Thank you in advance.
Hello, thank you for this amazing theme. It’s working pretty well for my client and me.
Yesterday I enabled cookie restriction mode becease of the law here in my country to warn people about cookies.
The warning about cookies appears at the bottom of the page and I would like to have that changed to the top of the page but I can’t seem to figure out how.
Could you help me out with that?
You would need to customize the CSS related to this block. When you want to make some non-standard design changes (for which you can’t find settings in theme admin panel), you can enable additional CSS file custom.css, in which you can override the default styles of the theme. For more details about theme customization please refer to the user guide: 5.1.2 Override default CSS styles.
Unfortunately we don’t have any ready code for this kind of change.
Hi, Do you offer an upgrade service?
Also is it possible to add images to the mega menu? like pictures which shows the products for each category?
1. Unfortunately we don’t offer upgr. services.
2. Image can be added in the “Top Block” for each 2nd-level category, just like in our demo in the menu of category “Electronics”.
If you want to check configuration of one of the demo stores, you can install the Quick Start Package which is an exact copy of our demo site. It contains all the settings from all demos so you can easily check there (and copy, if needed) every single detail of the configuration.
Hi, after upgrade home slider not working
There were no changes in sliders in latest updates so there must be some issue on your end. Please double check the configuration of your sliders – all configuration details are described in the user guide.
We’re facing a small issue with the signup/login. Both pages look the same and their title is sign in….there’s a link to create new account but it’s at the bottom left of the container, without a button which makes it barely visible in desktop version and almost invisible on mobile. 60% of our traffic comes from mobile so I appreciate your assistance in resolving this. We need to create a big button but don’t know where to start or what files to edit. Thanks,
Please post a screenshot, I’m not sure which place and page you meant. There is no page named “Sign In”, and on the page “Create an Account” there is a button at the bottom.
Sorry for reposting…I forgot to tick the box in order to get notified when I receive a reply.
I can’t seem to find the option to import blocks. According to the guide it should be here Theme Settings but it is not there. Thanks for the help!
There’s a mistake in the user guide. This option is in:
System > Configuration > Fortis > Theme Settings > Data Import
lol I thought I was going crazy! Thank you for the quick reply!
sorry for trouble.
Could I ask another question? I’m having trouble figuring out how to add/remove things to the menu bar. I have added catalogs and products but no luck finding how. thanks!
This is not theme related. If you add a category and it is active, it will be displayed in the menu automatically.
But you need to reindex Magento and clear the cache from time to time.
When I imported the home page three tabs appeared “about us” “features” and “buy”. I’m wondering his to remove those. They only appeared after importing the page.
It’s a static block “block_nav_links”
I have 126.96.36.199
New sign appears below the product image and not over
how to fix?
All labels work correctly in IE9 (and in other versions of IE), most likely you have the Compatibility Mode enabled in your browser.
On the products slider on the homepage if the title of a single product takes up more than one line then the price and add to cart button button are out of alignment with the rest of the products in the slider.
Likewise on the category grid page, if the product title is more than one line the prices do not align horizontally but the cart button does.
Can you recommend a change to the CSS to rectify this, for example maybe float the cart button and price from the bottum up, fix the height maybe so there is space available for longer product titles ??
Unfortunately we don’t have any ready solution for that. We’re planning to change this in one of the updates.
Your solution sound OK (fixed height, button positioned to the bottom).
Or you could also limit product name to a single line using this CSS property https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/text-overflow
Now that i update my theme to the version 2.5.1 i have two problems, the Banners their are not showing properly. as u can see it here in this PrtScrn: http://www.yaargsm.nl/bewijs1.png
please can u help me?
You can disable full width slideshow or use wider images. Please refer to the user guide:
11.1.2 Slideshow on home page—> Full width slideshow
In category page, it would be interesting for configurable product a button “view detail” instead of “add to cart” as magento theme demo ” “madison island”..
my apologies for my bad english
Thank you for suggestions but I think this option is a little bit misleading: it displays “view details” for configurable products but doesn’t display it for products with custom options (the have standard “add to cart” button). But we will consider this in next updates.
Hi, I’d like to add conversion code but I understand there is no success.phtml file. Where is the best place to add the code?
That file can be found in Magento “base” theme. You can enable Magento’s “Template Path Hints”, it will display the names of template file of each block in the front-end. Please see this short video tutorial for more details: http://vimeo.com/1067069
If some template file doesn’t exist in the theme package (because it wasn’t needed and the theme doesn’t override it), then Magento will use the original file from Magento’s “base” theme. If you need to customize this template file, you can copy it from “base” theme to the theme package.
Note that the correct way to customize the theme in Magento is to create your own sub-theme.
Please refer to chapter 5. Customization in the user guide for more details about Magento structure, customization and fallback mechanism. This is Magento’s functionality not related to the theme.
Ok thanks, but I have a live site so I don’t know if this would be a good idea. What page is used when a order has been successfully processed as I would like to put the google conversion code on that page.
There is a page in Magento that displays after successful order. But there are hundreds of template files, to check which template files you need to edit to customize specific sections of Magento, you can enable Magento’s “Template Path Hints”, it will display the names of template file of each block in the front-end. Please see this short video tutorial for more details: http://vimeo.com/1067069
