How do I remove my name and email address form the contact and return forms?
Secondly if I wanted to manually put a link in the header, so that it appeared after all the categories where would I put it?

Do you want to remove the fields Name and Email from those forms?
Those forms are validated in controller files. So you’d need to make changes to contact.php and return.php files in controllers folder.
To add a custom link after categories I recommend to use this extension http://goo.gl/HTdHm to do it easily without touch any file. Give it a try.
Fortuna is a great template, with a simple and minimal look. It has good facilities in its backend (admin panel), for customizing template without having a deep knowledge about CSS. Thanks a lot to its designer for the good technical support. I highly recommend this template if you want to have a simple one with a good technical support.

I tried using the header extension to create some more items in the menu but I can’t seem to get it to work. Any ideas. The support team for the extension says it is probably the theme and the theme doesn’t support the extension.

The extension “Add links/information pages to top menu” should work because it doesn’t change any template files. So, it shouldn’t have problems with Fortuna or any other theme.
Do you have entries in System > Error log?
Nothing since I installed the plugin.
Do you also have a good way to the pin it button and Facebook like button under the image?

If you have vqmod installed it should work automatically. Check your vqmod/vqmod.log to trace any possible errors.

When you set the the item up in your product category did you make sure you checked the box for the parent category?
i also had an issue with vpmod, did you double check to make sure it was installed properly, using the http://www.yoursite.com/vqmod/install url

In the contact form it has the name and email address field. Has anyone noticed that id put the site owners name and personal email address as sample text in it. Has anyone figured out how to remove and put more generic information in those text boxes?

That happens only if you created a customer account with the same name/email that your admin account.
So, if you log in on the frontend and go to contact form it will populate the fields with your info. If you log out from your test customer account you will see those fields empty.

I think you don’t have vqmod installed. The additional thumbnails require vqmod. Get the package here http://code.google.com/p/vqmod/
Installation is very easy, follow the instructions http://code.google.com/p/vqmod/wiki/Install_OpenCart
To fix the issues with search box, edit catalog/view/theme/fortuna/stylesheet/stylesheet.css Find:.searchbox input { margin: 0; padding: 4px 0 4px 4px; width: 99%;and replace 99 with 97I will update the package.

There are some extensions you could use. Maybe a Facebook comments plugin would be helpful. Check the extensions http://goo.gl/7QZHq
Those extensions should work fine with tabs.

I am having issue with the shopping cart, the total amount does not reflect the shipping charges and when the user gets redirected to paypal, the user sees the item price and the shipping charge price however the total amount remains equal the Item price. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi,
The shipping charges will appear on the Shopping Cart if the user is logged in (because he already has a registered address) or if he uses the option “Estimate Shipping & Taxes”.
Otherwise, it will appear until the confirmation on Checkout, once a shipping address is given and a shipping method is selected.

Default OpenCart installation is only in English, but you can install additional language packs from the OpenCart extensions website http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension&path=2&filter_search=spanish&filter_license=0

But your panel has a different language is not in the OpenCart extensions. and versions that supports you sent me are to 1.5.0.x. Can you tell me exactly where you get it?
The custom module Fortuna Theme Options is English only. On demo site the Spanish language is available only on the frontend.
Also, on the link I posted in my previous comment you’ll find some free Spanish language packs and the OC version supported is indicated. If you have OC 1.5.4.x there’s a package for you.
