Hi,
We have upgraded to OPENCART Version 1.5.5.1 (updated 2 days ago) due to an issue.
Now the log file shows errors with the theme.
- Undefined variable: filter_category_id in search.tpl file line 53 and 61.
I guess this is because of the new filter module of the opencart.
Do you know when you will update your files to work with the current version?

I uploaded the new files for OpenCart 1.5.5.1 some hours ago.
Unfortunately, there is a small issue on header.tpl. I forgot to change a variable name from filter_name to search. If you download the package please change the name in that file. Everything else will be fine.
The corrected package is being reviewed right now.

There’s a new package with the files for OC 1.5.5.1. It was published just a few hours ago.
Please, download the new package and make a little change, on header.tpl change the variable filter_name to search. I forgot to change the name in one place only.
The package with the fixed name is being reviewed and it will be available in a couple of hours.

The Facebook widget behavior was changed recently. You still are using the theme version 1.0. The problems were fixed in the last release.
You can easily update to the newest version. Just download the package from your account and upload to your server. If for any reason you need to stick to that version send me a message through the contact form on my profile page and I will send you a couple of files.

1) You can do it by yourself. The purpose of OpenCart and this theme is to make the process easy for you.
2) The customer account is pretty straightforward. Check the demo site and create and account.
3) It’s part of the core system.
4) If you wish you can install and SSL certificate. Paypal is already included in OpenCart.

With the theme it always takes long time to load the web pages. We have around 9600 items with 219 categories in total. We are on a shared hosting but these figures shouldn’t make the site slow or slower.
Do you have any suggestions to make the website faster with the theme? Currently whenever we activate it the website slows down.

Admin however is very fast for displaying categories and products… And the error logs are all clean both for opencart and also for the vqmod.

Those errors are related to your database. Check if any of your extensions is making a lot of sql queries. The out of the box OpenCart should work without problems on a shared hosting.
The theme only display the values passed by the core system and some plugins.
I suggest to contact your hosting support and check the database.

This will write the analytics code from google right? because i have an entry for this already. Can you tell me how will this fix it?
I changed the code as you suggested. The error is not there anymore, which is good but the website slowed down at least 5 times more. 3rd level dropdown displays fine but the website is much more heavier now. I have around 200 categories in total.
Any suggestions on this speed issue? (If I disable the 3rd level vqmod then the website speeds up to normal and fast!)

The google analytics variable is only the reference on the vqmod file. It means that it will add the code before the google analytics.
With every new level the speed will slow down. In this case also disable the category product count.
Enable gzip and display less products on each category page.

Indeed, that module is for removing the 3rd step. In only hides the form to customer but it takes the billing info.
The billing info is mandatory, you have to make other changes in case you want to remove it because is tied to payment methods http://goo.gl/B0Skv

Are there any plans to make the responsiveness of the theme smoother? I’ve had problems with your other theme and this one seems to have the same issues. It gets really jerky when you scroll up and down the page. If you test out Shoppica, their html5 setup is extremely smooth.
Do you think you might spend some time trying to figure out what the issue is? Is there maybe some function I can turn off that’s causing the delay in responsiveness?
If you can work out that kink, I’ll def buy this one too.

It was included in the original OC 1.5.5.1 release. But now it has been removed from the official package due to many problems and complaints http://goo.gl/3Bssg
Please, remove that line. That’s it. You don’t need to reupload the OpenCart package, it doesn’t affect any other section. Only update if you are running 1.5.5.
I will update the theme to remove that line too.

There are some plugins on the OpenCart extensions website. I don’t think they are responsive but it shouldn’t be too hard to do it.
Some free extensions are only for older OpenCart versions.

Mmm… I tried, and I emptied the folder of image cache. But the system saves togheter the standard 62×62 and custom (145×145 px) formats. ?
Once you changed the default value to 145×145 only the new thumbnails will be created. This is for the list of subcategory images.
The main category image size is defined in System > Images

Maybe I’m wrong at some point. - I change the image size in System > Images in 145×145 - I change in 145×145 in vqmod/subcategory_thumbnails.xml - I change stylesheet.css - Upload the category image - I insert new category and subcategory in Catalog > Categories The view is ok (dimensions of ”.subcat_thumb a”, but the system take the 62×62 image instead of 145×145 (if I change the file name with firebug, the 145×145 image appears correctly. The main category size is managed from System > Images. But you still have 62×62px images in subcategories.
In subcategory_thumbnails.xml the 62 value is in 4 places, did you change them all?

Question, on product details, the Description and Reviews tabs appear under the price tag on the right hand side of the product pictures. Is it possible to have these tabs display at the bottom where Latest, Best Sellers tabs are?
Is there a way to disable the Cloud Zoom?
And finally, does your theme support RTL Languages?

1) Yes, Description and Reviews can be mover to the bottom easily. A single file must be edited.

hi currently i am using oc 1.5.41 and i have encountered a product problem. when i go into product page. on the display i have set to show 100 on the pages of the categories. there are few blank spaces in there as if the item is missing example (no image, no price, no nothing) just blank space.

I checked. In previous versions there was some CSS classes to align the products correctly in 3/4 columns. There was some issues when there are more than 48 products.
The newer versions don’t have such problem. If you didn’t make any changes to template files you can easily upgrade and fix the problems.
