Is there a way to link each image in the multi slider to a page rather then a post?

Dannci

Pre-purchase question. I love this theme design but I am concerned that the last update listed was January last year and the Wordpress version is listed as 3.6. We are now using Wordpress 3.9. Is there a theme update coming soon? regards, Karen

Dannci

Hello and thank you for your interest.

I’m updating all my themes – in 3.9 are bigger changes. I assume that theme will be updated this week.

EDIT ownScript.js IN CHILD THEME

Hello, okay?

I came across the image resizing and saw that the control is done by ownScript.js file, how can I edit within the child theme?

I do not like change directly in the theme, already avoiding possible problem in future updates.

You can help me.

Thanks for everything

Dannci

Hello,

you need to dequeue parrent script and enqueue your own.

Thanks

I had read this post.

You could not simulate an example, not yet got the result.

Thank you

Dannci
Remove parent action:
function remove_themnific_action() {
    remove_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'themnific_add_javascript');
}
add_action('init','remove_themnific_action');

and enqueue scripts you want (from theme-scripts.php), in child theme again

Hi!

We can’t seem to be able to fill in the “Caption” and “Description” fields when adding a new image to an article, without it messing up with the way the picture look. When we do fill them, the image displays completely out its allocated area.

Is there a fix for this already?

Thanks,

Guilherme Neto

Hello,

“Caption” and “Description” fields are here: http://prntscr.com/3kuvt4

These are native functions and theme cannot affect them.

Thank you

Hello again,

Thanks for the quick reply. I don’t think I’ve explained the problem properly. I can find where the “Caption” and “Description” fields are, it’s just that when I fill them, the image stops displaying as it should.

Adding image: http://prntscr.com/3kwc27

Result (it’s the last image at the end of article): http://www.financenews24.com/2014/05/12/the-10-most-expensive-cities-to-live-in-the-world-in-2014/

As you can see there, it seems as if adding the caption makes it display a higher frame than it should.

Thanks,

Guilherme Neto

Dannci

Oh, thanks…

add following

.wp-caption{ max-width: 100%;}

.wp-caption img{ max-width: 98%;}

into style.css

Thanks

Thanks again, it seems to have worked. There’s one thing left that still doesn’t seem to be working, which is the text displaying below the image when we click on it. It’s showing “undefined”, even when we have filled all the 4 fields we are given (title; description; alt; caption).

Image “undefined” problem: http://prntscr.com/3kxery

You can check it by clicking on the last image on the same article as last time (http://www.financenews24.com/2014/05/12/the-10-most-expensive-cities-to-live-in-the-world-in-2014/).

Thanks again,

Guilherme Neto

You need to add ‘title’ for image link http://prntscr.com/3kyt8m
