Well you can easily make the tooltips open to the left or right of the image and not under it or even remove them completely. Just read the section on Tipsy tooltips in the documentation.

Also it is important to point out the resolution has a great deal to do with this – on larger resolutions you don’t have any problem. View the site with the browser in fullscreen mode could also make the experience better.

Another solution is to decrease the height of the pictures to something smaller. The height that is now was chosen because I felt that it really puts more accent on the work being displayed and that the site should be artistic first o all.

Well you have to set the width for any horizontal template, that’s for sure.

Weather you calculate it by hand and set it manually or it has a javascript script to do the calculation and set the width automatically depends from a file to another.

I chose the manual one for a good reason – since it is being sold as a template I’m not sure exactly what modifications it might suffer and I was afraid that as much as I would try I might not produce a script to work in all cases and having someone buy it and not be able to use it like they want is not acceptable for me.

I sincerely don’t understand what you find so hard with setting the width for the main container. You just calculate the total width using the formula I mention in the documentation or if you feeling lasy as I do sometimes and don’t want to do the adding up you just eyeball it until you get it to look right

I went to the demo page to double check and I can scroll using the mouse wheel no problem. Maybe it is something with your setup or the modifications you did. The customs font in the menu is added using Cufon font replacement. The documentation covers how to change it with another font, just look up Cufon in the Scripts section of the documentation.

You can change the color in the css file.

The horizontal scrolling was the main concept this template was build around – to have the content scroll vertical the template would have to be re-coded. And then you would have to rethink the navigation and services pages design etc.

I offer customization services but I have to say that it will be quite some work to transform this template into a vertical scrolling one. You can always contact me through the form on my profile page for a price quote.

Since this is a html/css template, anything is possible as long as you have a person capable of making the necessary modifications.

Yes, with a little html know how you can easily move the menu and position it absolutely next to the arrows.
