Theme updated to version 1.9 – details in the changelog.
I just bought this theme and would like to set it up as you have it setup in the demo, “Share” feature doesn’t work either. Please tell me in what order you have “Homepage Teasers” ordered. Below is a URL :
thanks for choosing our theme.
First, “Share” feature not working on homepage only, it is our mistake, sorry. To fix this you need to open the main.js file, go to line 144 and replace “prettyPhoto” with “prettySociable”.
Second, “Homepage Teasers” widget area contain four “Foundation Featured Page/Teaser” widgets. All of them set to 25% width on the theme options panel. See documentation “Working With Widgets” sections for more details.
Sorry, I am on the editor and cannot find main.js under Templates? Where can I access this file? Also, why is there two Copyright Text fields under Theme Options? I entered my name and clicked “Save” still shows Foundation? Do I have to enter my Copyright info in both fields?
Can you use FTP ? File located in the “js” directory in theme folder.
Or you need to edit theme locally an then upload it again using WP theme uploader.
Never mentioned before that there are two copyright fields… Thank you, we will make an update. If you put your copyright text in the last field it will work. Thanks.
I replaced to prettySociable and still doesn’t work, also on Sample Page now?
What is your Skype name? I have some work for you
Hello, can you contact me via the email in documentation? I will reply with my Skype name – i don’t want to publish it.
Theme updated to version 2.0 – details in the changelog.
I setup a page for a blog but it doesn’t show the page title. Please take a look for me.
to have a blog page you only need a category with the posts. Add this category to the menu and your blog is ready. You don’t need to create a page.
Please go on Skype, I would like some help from you. I set static front page to “Home” and posts to “Blog” so I am kinda confused
I was looking at the live demo and noticed on the “Portfolio” page, you’ve included some extra sub-title “more than 50 projects in 4 years”. How am I able to do such a cool thing?
this is possible for categories only. You can add this sub-title on the category creation/edit page – category description.
I purchased this theme and it’s working nicely. I very well designed theme giving good look to the site.
I want to change the default blue and green colors with my custom colors.
I just want to do this modification only.
Where should I do the respective modification?
Thank you. You can switch between predefined colors in the options panel. But if you want to create your own color you need to edit CSS files.
thanks for the quick reply, but I want to know in which place exactly in css, because I only want to change the blue and green colors, nothing else.
I looked once in the css and I was not able to understand to change at the exact place.
You need to edit css/color/primary-blue.css and css/color/secondary-green.css files. They contain all color settings. But i can’t say you about exact place, as it is not 2-3 lines to edit. When you open you will see a lot of colors because there are many variants of green and blue used in the theme.
You can contact me to e-mail with any specific questions and i will help you.
I have need of displaying a ‘gallery’ of images on pages – so I installed NextGen. While this worked and I’m happy with display of it on the page – when I click an image to view large the image conflicts with theme ‘lightbox’?
So, if I click on an image displayed in gallery layout on the page, the screen black opacities and displays ‘your’ lightbox version of the image and on top of that is the nextgen gallery image…
Steps to disable when using gallery?
try to remove lines 109-110 from main.js file located in js folder of the theme.
just those lines did not do the trick. Had to remove all mention under /* —- IMAGES , GALLERIES, prettySociable —- */, left prettySociable,.
Another question, on color css’s. Rather than editing existing – how would I duplicate, rename and add a css to the selection option of admin? So, I want purple for instance, I do not want to select green or blue in selection options of admin – a want a new purple choice…
Is ok re: color.
Able to figure out edit in options.php.
Fantastic theme BTW
I am creating a “Contact” page, how do you add “Toggles” with a Google Map? I didn’t see a place in documentation where it discuses how to add all “Elements”?
toggles can be added with shortcode generator. It is a small button with theme logo on the top of visual editor. Click it and choose “Accordion”. Then you can edit it’s captions and content.
Google map can be generate here. Use 260×160 size. Then just paste this code into one of toggles, you can align it to right as in the demo using visual editor.
When I click on “Template” I only see default and portfolio, not one for “Contact”, why is this?
I specially checked the latest version and i see the “Contact” template, and it always was there. I don’t know why you don’t have it. Did you edit the code of the theme?
I purchased this WordPress Theme for my business and I’m having issues setting up basic things, no I did not edit any code. When might you have some time to help me build this website? I’ll pay for your time Just need to get this done sometime soon …
i have information now on your problem with contact page template. As i understand you using WP 3 .4? I just found that new version has a bug related to your problem. More information can be found here.
So, to “enable” contact page template again, you need to open contact.php and edit the first line as example by link above (just wrap line two times).
After that you will see the contact page template again. We will also update a theme with this small fix today, as WP team will fix this bug only with new version.
I’ll be on Skype today.
This may be a silly question, but why is the default slider size 900×430? Creating a slider with that size cuts off half of the right side of the image.
What size should I create my slider image?
900 wide is because there is no more space, 430 height – just because. You can change the height at theme options panel, this mean you can fit any proportions.
Also, it is better to prepare images in the graphic editor because if WP will do resize, the quality will be low.
Theme updated to version 2.1 – details in the changelog.
I’d like to have 3 widgets in the footer with the same width.
So I use 3×33 % or 2×33 % and 33 % last in the Theme Options.
But: Now every widget is a new “line”.
Is this a bug? How to fix?
sorry, you right – this is a bug in the CSS file. We will update as soon as possible, but the manual fix is simple:
1) open style.css
2) go to line 166
3) edit ”#footer .col-33” to ”#footer .col-66”
This will solve the problem.
I’m trying to create page with toggles, but open/close function is not working. Html code looks fine (I copied whole accordion div from demo page), main.js was loaded. Any idea, what I can do wrong?
Thanks for advice!
PS. The same situation with contacts, right after theme installation.
There was same conflict with “Site Background Slider”. It’s working now. Sorry for confusion.
the easiest way to create an accordion is using shortcode generator. Click small icon with theme logo on top of the visual editor and select accordion.
I can’t say what problem with html code copying method untill i see the code. I can take a look if you give me a link.
great theme, congrats!
You could tell us what files are changed in each version. Example: I’m using v.1.9 and I did some modifications in the code. I’m afraid loose the mods when upgrade to v.2.0. Know what file you change help us a lot in tis case.
sorry for the later reply. If you using 1.9 you need to update next files to reach 2.1 version:
js/main.js, options.php, style.css, contact.php.
