Hi, Sorry about many questions,

I have other questions for pre-sales.

1 – It’s possible add more imagens when create new campaign? 2 – Add more form fields when create new campaign? 3 – Show photos for backers non user gravatar? 4 – Works with latest version of wordpress (4.1)?

Thanks

1 – It’s possible add more imagens when create new campaign?

You can add images to the content area below the main intro block at the top of the page.

2 – Add more form fields when create new campaign?

If you’re familiar with PHP, you can add new form fields. See http://themeforest.net/item/franklin-wordpress-crowdfunding-theme/5063650/faqs/20492 for an example. If you’re not familiar with PHP, I would recommend hiring a developer who can assist with this.

3 – Show photos for backers non user gravatar?
This is not possible by default. You would need to use a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/add-local-avatar/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-local-avatars/ and integrate an upload field with the profile form.
4 – Works with latest version of wordpress (4.1)

The latest version of WP is 4.0—yes, it works.

Hi,

I’m really interested in the theme, but just trying to get more information and do a bit of a research on what the theme offers. I see people are talking about the Paypal Adaptive payments and different campaign types, Flexible and All or Nothing.

I know that i could run the theme straight out of the box with just a standard Paypal, and this would only collect funds as donations, correct ? And I wouldn’t be able to take a share of each donation, because the paypal standard doesn’t split the payments right ?

Im looking into starting a donation based site, but I would take a % fee out of every donation. So for this reason, I would need the PPAdaptive payments to split the donation to primary receiver ( the campaign owner ) and secondary, ( that would be me ) correct ?

But then, do I need the Pre-Approvals at all ??

Can I use the Flexible campaign type to collect the donations and process them immediately without the pre-approvals or does the Flexible type only allow me to collect and process the funds once the campaign has finished ??

Thanks

With flexible campaign types, money is distributed at the end of the campaign, regardless of whether the goal has been reached.

If you want to have the money come in automatically, you would need to use a donation gateway (like the default Paypal gateway). You would set it up so that money goes to the site, and then you manually distribute it to the campaign creators.

Hi,

I would like to change the head of my campaign page. Now there’s a part of the content of my campaign above the support button. I would like to change that to my campaign title. Can you tell me how I can do that? Here is a link to my site: http://www.athlevo.be/?download=test-8

Thanks

Hi Michael,

You would need to modify the campaign-blurb.php template using your child theme. By default the block above the picture and support button has the campaign excerpt.

Is there a simple way of changing the text on buttons, etc. I would like to change; Support, Pledged, Pledge, donate.

I do see the two spots within Campaigns > Settings > Misc – Complete purchase text – Add to cart text

I have changed these, but they do not seem to affect the campaign. Where exactly are these reflected when the change is made?

Can you please explain and easy way to change these few labels throughout the campaigns. Could this be considered in an update…it seems like many would like to be able to easily customize these labels.

Thank you

Got the reply…thank you!

How do I change the colour of the Pledge button text?

Studio164a

You would need to do this with CSS. You can stick your custom CSS in the child theme, or use this plugin:
