This can be done, but you’ll need to override it in your child theme. This text is defined in the franklin_atcf_campaign_contribute_options() function inside inc/crowdfunding/template.php.

Eric, today I’m officially testing my install. I have implemented the wepay plugin and realized that the pledge amount remains at zero even after a successful credit card process. Can you help me figure this out.

Hi, love your theme/

I would like to translate the ‘start new campaign’ page in to Dutch. How should I proceed. I translated the most part of the theme using Loco Translate, but come not across the campaign page.

Most of the text elements on that page are coming from the Crowdfunding plugin, so you need to be sure to translate that plugin.

Any plan to add a widget for campaign categories? Or a widget to list campaigns?

You can use the Download Categories widget for the campaign categories. There is no built-in widget to display campaigns, though there are I’m sure there are plugins out there that allow you to display recent “posts” for other post types (campaigns are just another post type in the Wordpress application).

Hi, I want to translate to spanish the buttom “Submit campaign” that appear at the bottom when you are creating a new campaign. I´m using WPML but only give me the option to translate the Campaign word and not the all sentence, there is and other way to translate the “Submit” word?

Some of the phrases come from the Crowdfunding plugin; please be sure to translate that plugin with WPML too.

That is what I’m doing. With the WPML I searched all the phrases in all context whith “submit” and translated but It doesn´t change what I need, actually, It looks like in this case are too separate words because I did the same with the “Campaign” word and it change, thats why my final result is “Submit Campaña”

Another question, it is posible to add to the footer of the template to words with links to other pages in the theme? my idea is to put at the bottom of all pages links to terms and conditions.

Paypal is installed by default. There is no wire transfer extension as far as I’m aware, though you should look at the Easy Digital Downloads site for a solution that may work: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/

With the Franklin theme each crowd funding project has the person posting the project setting a calendar end date and a financial goal.

If the financial goal of the project is reached prior to the end date the project funds.

Some popular projects may be able to well exceed their financial funding goal before the end date.

Is it possible within the theme for the person who posts a project to have an option to decide to keep running the project if reaches the financial goal before the completion end date?

I have installed the recommended Layer Slider on my AeroBackers site that I am developing.

I now notice that none of the slide images show up when I view the home page on an ipad or iphone.

What do you recommend to allow the website to be viewed properly with the Layer Slider installed?

It seems impossible to remove these ugly “Leave a Comment” fields from many pages of the theme including the registration page: http://www.aerobackers.com/free-registration/

I have removed this code from the single.php file of the theme: ”<?php comments_template(); ?>”

But the “Leave a Comment” still remains on all the pages.

I have completely deactivated all comments in my Admin as well.

Can someone please tell me how to address this issue .. thank you.

Problem solved! I was not seeing the Discussion meta box in my control panel on page edit. So did this … 1) click the “Screen Options” dropdown at the top right of my screen and 2) make sure “Discussion” is checked. I was then able to deselect the discussion from the page.

When a user logs out of the site a page says “404 Sorry you have hit a dead end.” How can we fix this as it would be better if the home page loaded instead of this error message.

The user registration process is pretty bad with the packaged Franklin theme. It is actually non existent.

The way it works out of the box is that all users create an account and have immediate access to the site. There is no verification process so very quickly most WP sites will be filled with hundreds of spam/bot sign ups.

Does anyone have a recommendation on which plugins will work best with the Franklin theme to achieve the following:

1) allow for admin to approve or reject any sign up 2) custom worded email notifications of the sign up process, thus a custom worded email that user’s account is being reviewed / has been confirmed. 3) When a new user hits the confirmation button on his application there should be some sort of welcome message on the web page. Right now there is nothing.

So the whole sign up process needs to be professionally implemented and from what I can see, this aspect is completely missing from the Franklin theme.

Hi Eric, I have added some icons with the campaign categories on my home page. I am interested in making the words and icons links to the actual category page. How do I do this? Also, I used a master slider plug in, and can’t get it to center with the theme. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric, I seem to face some problems with the front-end editing:

1/ The campaign end date from the front-end form is not saved properly, every campaign which I input via the front-end, is listed as ‘finished’. If a campaign date is then changed via the back-end, the new ‘days left’ is shown correct in the detailed campaign page BUT in the campaign list it shows the old date which basically means that the ‘Campaign is finished’.

2/ If a campaign is entered through the front end form and a user checks the preview, it is opened in the same window. Therefore it is hard to go back and edit the campaign. Is there a way to put an ‘edit’ or ‘save’ button below the campaign preview?

3/ If a campaign is entered through the front end form and a user did not complete all forms correctly, an error message is shown but ALL form fields are cleared, making the user loose all the information he/she put in.

4/ Rewards for backers are not saved if entered through the front-end form.
