Can you add a custom logo? Can you change the color behind the logo, that long color bar?

ProgressionStudios
Yeah, you can easily re-order images by following these directions(Simple Drag/drop to re-order):

Beautiful, Thanks. How can I make a PROPERTIES page like the one on your live preview? I am having trouble figuring that out.

ProgressionStudios
Check out the documentation in the “Help Section” folder. You probably want to look in the “Real estate” section or “Navigation” section. The properties page is automatically built so you just need link to the page. If you have any additional questions, feel free to post in our support forums:

Hi, I have a problem with the menu which is overlapping the logo when I shrink the screen.

Anyway to make the menu go under the logo instead of overlapping it?

What is your recommendation if I want to have pages (archive pages) based on property status, not just property type?

ProgressionStudios
These are automatically built. You can see the live preview for examples of this (See For Rent, For Sale, etc.). The documentation also covers how to link to these pages if you want to add them in your navigation. Here is an example link:

Awesome Theme!!

I was wondering if its possible to remove the boxes around everything? (widgets, main page…)

Sorry I don’t have the purchase tag, someone else in our office bought it on their computer, and we all work on it.

Hello! I have purchased the Freehold real estate template a couple of weeks ago. Roughly it’s been what I am looking for but I have to do a lot of customization to the template.

I want, for example, make a form which takes an intermediate input (drop-down list) and narrow down the next input options (also in a drop-down-list) in the same page. How can I forward this first selection to the next one. I mean that which page/location to refer in the first form to perform an ‘action’: <form name=’form1’ action=’<page to refer>’ method=’get’> <select id=’area’ name=’area’ onchange=’this.form.submit();’>? The idea is to transform the selected value to evaluate the next selection list. Any suggestions to do this operation another way? Is it possibly inbuilt feature?

Another thing. How could i totally hide the search bar below the title and main menu bar? Idea is to ONLY have advanced search options visible. I tried to do this in CSS #search-container .width-container {visibility: hidden; position:relative;} but this only removed what was contained in the bar. The bar itself with default white background remained visible. Thanks in advance!

What about RTL ???

ProgressionStudios
Unfortunately R-T-L support isn’t built-in. We have had many buyers add this in themselves per the WordPress documentation:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Right-to-Left_Language_Support

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Can I put menu with city names?

ProgressionStudios

Yeah, you can add city names into the navigation menu.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi,

I want to ask how can I make the agent selection dynamic base on the URL. Like for example “www.username1.mydomainname.com”. I like to set the selection of agent per properties to username1. Hope you could help me.

Wow, is this theme buggy. When I open the customizer panel it won’t stay open to allow me to select anything. Also, my Banner area is short (height) and the drop down search tool panel does not stay open. If you could take a look – http://www.bestsiteservices.com/clients/steve/.

ProgressionStudios
If you are having trouble, please attempt to get support before saying the theme is buggy. We have over 1,000 sales with a very high rating and can confirm the theme should run smoothly. It is likely an easy fix by re-installing the theme and then resetting your theme options. If that doesn’t help, jump onto our support forums and we can help you out:

Hello. I am looking to purchase your theme and modify it for use with historical sites instead of real estate / properties and I have a few quick questions… (1) Is it possible to move the sidebar area to the right side, instead of the left where it is now? (2) Is it possible to modify the items under the main search drop down? (IE: Where it has min / max $$ amount, maybe make those first / last name. And, where it has beds, maybe I would make the main heading there be something like “Site Type” and then have cemeteries, historic sites, and all as the options. And, where it has baths, maybe I would change that heading to “State” and then have the choices be all the states in the USA – and so on.) (3) Or, if the above is not possible, can these options be removed altogether, so the search feature does not have all these choices? (4) I really like how you have the “Property Types” at the bottom and think this may work well for what I’m trying to do, where I would change maybe Apartment to Cemeteries, Condo to Famous Grave Sites, Multi Family to Historic Sites, and so on. Are these categories of the blog or how does this functionality work and/or do you think it will work for what I’m trying to do?

Sorry for all the questions. And, thank you in advance for getting back to me.

ProgressionStudios

1) Yeah, the sidebar can be moved to the right or left. It is a simple option built-in to the theme.

2) The search item headings can easily be modified. Adding/removing elements though would need to be modified via code. There are only three files that handle search.

3) Yeah, you can easily remove search properties you do not want to use.

4) Yeah, Property types can be adjusted to anything. These are essentially “Categories” so you can add/remove them as needed and rename them as well.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I can also forward you the documentation if you shoot me an e-mail via my profile page contact form: http://themeforest.net/user/ProgressionStudios#from

Is this theme compatible with the MLS/IDX?

ProgressionStudios

The Freehold theme controls all of the listings in WordPress via a custom post type. There isn’t any MLS/IDX computability built-in. There are a few plugins available to add-in this functionality but support for these is not built-in. You would have to check the plugin documentation for adding this in.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

SurferRob

Great, thank you for the quick reply!

Hi, Here is a question about RTL (again) if you think it’s easy then why not to adopt it by the theme developer ? This way the client will not worry about the website with each theme update because it’ll be RTL ready and tested, Thanks.

ProgressionStudios
Glad you are interested in our theme. RTL is just one of those features we decided not to support out of the box. It’s great getting feedback as it is something we may consider in the future. For now we are going to leave that up to the buyer to add-in as necessary. I will update this thread though if we decide to build in support for this ourselves.

If you are interested in hiring us to build this in for you, send me an e-mail and we can discuss the details:

Hi, I sent you a message but for the record this make the theme less simplicity. I liked the theme because it looks very simple with no complications like the other real estates themes, Thanks.

ProgressionStudios

Sounds good. I will send you an email tomorrow morning.

Hi, I got this weird code under the property page. It’s supposed to be Price but instead, it showed up as this”

$ Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /home/content/93/11863093/html/wp-content/themes/Freehold/property-listing.php on line 21

Can anybody help???

Even in Property Options, it also has this:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/93/11863093/html/wp-content/themes/Freehold/framework/metaboxes.php on line 134

I don’t know why

Note: Ensure your price doesn’t have any spaces or comma’s. These are added automatically. My assumption is this is what is occurring.

Hi, I have a stupid question but… Instead of house, can we use this theme for cars ? :S

Thank you :)

ProgressionStudios

You can easily translate the theme into another language. Therefore you can translate the fields to automotive as needed. It will likely require a bit of customizing but should be no problem if you want to re-use a lot of the same search fields.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Default-user

Ok, I guess search fields are “customizable” (Sorry I don’t know if this word exist in English ^^“). I have an ultimate question : I try to understand what “regular licence” is but I must confess I’m a little bit lost. Can I use the wordpress theme, customize it, and then sell my customization to a customer ? Thanks

ProgressionStudios

Yeah, you can definitely do that :-). After purchase you are free to customize the theme for clients as much as you need.

Hi,

I have a problem, I’m trying to change my template files but the changes are not refreshed in my front end.

Is there any way to cache for this template?

Anyone can help me please?

Pre-Purchase Question:

I was wondering if this theme is compatible/has been tested with the IDXPress plugin? http://www.dsidxpress.com/

Thank you.

ProgressionStudios

The Freehold theme controls all of the listings in WordPress via a custom post type. There isn’t any MLS/IDX compatibility built-in. The plugin you are mentioning will work with any theme but it will require modifications and styling updates if you wanted to use it with our theme.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
