i love this theme and today i finally purchased it. When i try to upload it via wordpress it says style.css error. I unzip the file and then i check there is some more files with main theme file. What can i do now. I know if i upload only main theme file then theme start working. but tell me where i upload the licence file or psd file etc ??

I’m looking for a theme very much like this for a new client. This client needs a basic website with about a dozen pages, but doesn’t need a blog. I like this themes left sidebar. My question is, Can the sidebar be turned into a site navigation rather than blog links?

This theme looks great! Lots of good options. I need the sidebar to be wider so that I can have standard 300 pixel wide ads. Considering that I’ve customized themes before, would it be difficult to change the width of the sidebar? Would it negatively impact the rest of the theme at all?

Oh, I’d not recommend you to change sidebars width, it will affect to all other things (sliders, content columns etc.)
There are a lot of other sizes for your ads, don’t you want to try another size?

My client made a contract with an advertiser to deliver 300×300 pixel ads. There’s not really an industry standard size (according to IAB guidelines) that’s a 220-ish pixels square, the width of Freely’s sidebar. That might be okay though.
Similarly, I need to have a 728×90 leaderboard ad across the top of the site. Could I center that above the content area on the right side of the site? Again, if so, would it negatively impact the theme or just push down the right side of the site some?
Sure, it will fit into that area, because it’s 850px by width. You can insert it instead of phone number for example.

First, YES , I’ve been reading your documentation … just so you know, I like to see what I can do first before I ask questions.
In your demo you show an About Page … where is that template? I can’t find it anywhere.
How I do I get the my Homepage to look like your Homepage on the demo? I would like to those boxes right below the slider then those thumbnail pictures with the “read more” button under that?

Hi Christine,
There is demo.xml file inside main archive. Simply use Tools -> Import -> Wordpress option to import all the demo content, then you’ll be able to edit all the content which would be simplier for you to understand how that pages can be reached.

I am trying to use a 3rd party custom sidebar plugin, and your theme is throwing errors. I cannot create unique sidebars for pages with this theme. Can you give us some input on this?

There is no necessary to install any plugin with that functionality because our theme already has this feature. Simply remove that plugin and see the documentation on how to use unlimited sidebars feature.

We’re getting unknown values in several of the third party apps being put in place. Afraid that there are global functions needed that are not available on you theme. I’ll track down an error and post it for you to see.

Unfortunately there is no ability to change the location of slide title in nivo-slider.
I’d recommend you to wait a little, today later will be available our fresh version (v.1.08) for download. So you’ll have opportunity to upgrade it to the very new version. Simply follow the steps below to upgrade the theme properly:
1. activate the default theme twentyten (it will deactivate your current freely version);
2. press delete the current version of freely;
3. upload a new (fresh) Freely theme version to your themes and activate it
That’s all.

Is there another way to clean up my posts and restore the line breaks? Maybe using some kind of code that will correct all of the posts?
I have 400+ posts that I’ve imported from my old theme and it will take a long time to go into each post and do as your video suggested.

Hi, great theme but i’m having a couple of issues
1) lists – when i click insert list how do i seperate list items? ive tried a few things but none of them work? 2) paragraphs, when i add a new paragraph the spacing is removed…how do i fix this?

1) There is a sample inside lists shortcode right under the text field. (you should use symbol ”`” to separate your list to the new lines)
