Just noticed something else that makes me feel uneasy. All the pages take considerable time to load in IE8 and that is the browser that my client and their customers will most use. Also the image gallery frame (when you have selected an image) appears to be broken/out of alignment.
yeah there are quite a few issues with IE8 actually. The teachers page does not show any of the images. I’m really not sure about this theme and its compatability with IE8 .

Thanks for that, I’ve forwarded your comment to our designer, she’ll have a look at it in IE8 , we still have one PC with Windows XP just for IE8
Sorry guys, but getting your designer to look into it just doesn’t really alleviate my concerns. My client really needs IE8 to work and your theme unfortunately does not ‘cut the mustard’. Throwing in a ‘free’ image slider that doesn’t really do anything more than the other free sliders out there doesn’t compensate either. Your documentation looks good but I really have an issue with displaying in IE8 so sadly, I’m not going be a customer this time. Good luck in the future and get a new hosting server.
Firstly, nicely created theme.
I’m having a strange prob, I’m updated the CSS directly – I upload the CSS and the changes are reflected but then 10mins later or so the css reverts to the original.. Any ideas why this is happening?

Is this theme compatible with IE8 yet. I notice there are a lot of issues on the demo, especially with the images. I have a client who loves the theme and would like me to purchase it, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that when the demo doesn’t even function properly. Thanks for your assistance.
Theme uses lot of css3 stuff that is not supported by IE8 . Revolution slider with cufon has also issues in IE8 . But if you use old school anything slider you won’t have issues there.
What firefox version and OS are you using?
I’m using Windows 7, IE9 and Firefox 16.0.2 and the demo is not working in either browser. The reason I specifically asked about IE8 is that my client is currently using that version. I have asked them to update, but regardless … if it isn’t working in IE9 , there’s a problem. In IE9 , it works if I select compatibility mode, but the images (under the teacher section) are square rather than round … I can live with that. The theme appears to be working in both Safari and Chrome.
Please send us some screenshots to info@ait-themes.com, we’ll have a look at it. We have here Windows XP with IE8 , Windows 7, few Macs and also Linux with Ubuntu. All looks OK.
I am doing the screen captures now and will send them shortly. Also … Firefox gives an error that some of the plug-ins used are out of date. Thanks!
I just sent screen captures of 6 pages that are not rendering properly in IE & Firefox. I did not go through the drop down menus to look at those pages, but I’m pretty sure you’ll see a pattern in the ones I sent. It appears to be an image issue, but you would know better than me.

I don’t think I have any special settings in either Firefox or IE, and I’ve never installed plugins in either browser. The funny thing is … when I showed my customer the template on October 17th, it was working fine. There were no problems with those blown out images. Sorry, I don’t have another computer.
Really strange, I can send you a previous version if you like. We’ve added in some CSS3 stuff to make the theme fresh and revolution slider.
i was just about to buy this theme but then saw all the IE8 compatibility issues and also slow loading . so decided NOT to buy it. unless sales have any comments?
Thanks for your message. Theme will work on IE8 but due to the fact that it uses latest css3 technology some bits will not work exactly as they are on modern browsers.

I am getting more and more irritated by the day with this theme. I bought and downloaded it approx. 1 week ago only to find that it’s TERRIBLY SLOW and super buggy. It basically disables some of wordpresses inherant functions such as adding images, linking, slider menus (along the left dashboard) etc.
PLUS when I got to the theme support section – and speak with their staff they try to pass the blame onto US the buyers that it’s our issue – when it clearly isn’t because if I revert back to another theme it’s fine – everything is fine.
ON TOP OF THIS – aitthemes says the latest version is 2.7 and you have a version 2 banner on your image suggesting that it’s WAY outdated.
They pointed me back here to get the latest version but I can’t seem to download it at all. I see no instance of 2.7 on the page that I can tell.
And why can’t we just do a one click upgrade? Why do we have to do a fresh install and rebuild everything. Isn’t that backwards kinda?
The current theme version is v2.8, you’ll have to install the theme manually, themeforest does not support automatic theme updates
Our images says v2 as the v1 version of the theme didn’t include multi layer slider. If we’ll include another major update, it’l say v3 and then small fixes will be v3.1, v3.2, etc.

Yeah it is pretty slow in ie.. that’s unfortunate.. if that can be fixed-up, I’ll buy immediately.. I really love the look of this theme, it looks amazing and it’s my fave theme right now, just didn’t realize how long it takes in ie to load, the demo version of the theme took over 5 mins to show up, whereas on Firefox and Chrome it loaded really fast.. hopefully there is something that can be done to fix it so that I can purchase this for my new project – I have full faith that you can do something

Is this theme 100% responsive ? If I go to tablet-emulator.org I notice a horizontal slide bar at the bottom of the browser, both in Firefox & Crome. If I set my screen resolution to 1024×768 I see that slide bar. I then noticed using firebug the following:-
body { font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; margin: 0; min-width: 1024px; width: 1024px; }
I thought Responsive meant it would adjust the theme depending on device, and browser ?

Theme is adaptive, it’ll adapt to mobile screens, it won’t resize all the way down to mobile.
