On the Slideshow Module I want to use another Module Class Suffix instead off ‘style-line colorcaps’. Are there other Module Class Suffix available?
Hi, I really appreciate your interest. Here we used Module Class Suffix “style-line” is for module appearance (no margin and padding) and “colorcaps” responsible for styling of the widgetkit slide show. At this time we only use this suffix, If you want to change the class declaration as your way, you can simply open “custom.css” in the directory “templates\frenzy\css” or for particular profile in the directory “templates\frenzy\styles\bottlegreen\css” and search for the CSS classes like ”.colorcaps .wk-slideshow .caption”, ”.colorcaps .wk-slideshow-default .caption h1”, ”.colorcaps .wk-slideshow-default .nav” . I hope you’ll able to change the slide caption and other appearance.

Hi I installed the demo and I have the following error…
An error has occurred. 500 DateTime::__construct() [datetime.—construct]: Failed to parse time string (jerror) at position 0 (j): The timezone could not be found in the database
How can I set the timezone correctly?

Thanks. Its may be a warning due to your php version.
Can you please open the “configuration.php” file in the root directory and find the line public $error_reporting = ‘default’; (probably in line 23) and just change it to public $error_reporting = ‘6134’;

Thanks for the help. I also have a problem updating the slider. When I do this; Widgetkit -> Slideshow -> Edit Home Slide -> Save It saves a blank copy, it does not update the current slider. Do you know how I can fix it. Thanks for the support!

Hi, I really appreciate your interest. All of the css classes mainly in custom.css, style.css, menu.css and tools.css in the directory “templates\frenzy\css” . Can you please check them.
You will find all of the unordered list classes like unordered-1, unordered-2, unordered-3 etc in “custom.css” and some of other classes like check, zebra etc are in “tools.css”

Hi, Nice to hear from you. You may have a problem with the slide using IE8. There is only a slow transition in slide with ken-burn-effect using IE8, so you may use other transition in the slide. there are about 20 transition in the slide.

My problem is that IE8 does not display the logo and the slide does not display correctly. This also happens on your demo. You can visit my site and check http://www.dosdemil.es/3w/topcad/ with IE8 not working properly. I would like to give me a solution. Thank you.
Hi, I’m really really sorry for my late response. Mistakenly I don’t saw your reply. Any way I saw that in your site the logo is not showing in IE8. You know currently the logo code in the module (module name “Logo” , position “logo”) is:
<span class=”logo-custom size-auto”></span>
that’s mean the logo is coming from the css class “logo-custom” & “size-auto”
Without using the above code I think you can use simply <img src=”images/logo/YOUR_LOGO IMAGE NAME” width=”150” height=”100” alt=”Logo”/>
in the current logo module. I hope it will work in all browser, if not

Hi Jamal, very well done on the theme it’s brilliant and even easy to use for Joomla newbees like me. Well done!
However, I have one issue with Firefox, but I am not quite sure whether the theme is the problem or not.
A message is triggered that there is a plug-in missing, however, Firefox cannot find a fiiting plug-in.
We were not able to find the root cause. Do you have any tipps?

Hi, I’m really confused what you are facing as everything okay at my end. I updated the theme couple of day’s ago with only a minor css fix to custom.css for google chrome, nothing extra have added. So it should not occur any issue. Can you please give me your live site link so that I can take a look.

Hi, Here is the full documentation of lightbox http://www.yootheme.com/widgetkit/examples/lightbox . Can you please check. Light box can open YouTube, Vimeo, MP4 (h.264), Swf, Inline, Iframe etc. Also you can use #wk-ID to load widgets like slideshows or galleries in a lightbox, See the documentation please. You said “It seems it can’t open a link that is in another domain (some problem with crossdomain)” , I’m not sure what you actually want, I mean if you want to open a link using lightbox with iframe then your problem will solved I think.

I am using JCE editor to write my articles in Joomla. I would like to know how can apply the template (frenzy) to the article, using the editor. Otherwise I must copy manually (even from html code) which is time consuming.

Hi, When you open and article to edit with JCE editor there should be an icon named “html” or something else where you can click (it open a popup) and paste the source code of frenzy, then you update and save the article. you also can toggle the editor which should be in bottom of the editor (in TinyMCE editor) and it will give you the option when editor icon will gone and you can paste directly the frenzy source code and save.

Can you give you an email via my profile page http://themeforest.net/user/afmjamaluddin so that I can reply you via email with a screen shot, I hope it will help you to identify where you need to paste the code. And frenzy comes with quick demo package and there is a documentation (PART 1-demo package installation) (PART 2-one by one creating content after joomla and template installation), So if you choose PART 1, then you’ll have all the content and do not need to add code by yourself. But if you want to add one by one content creation by yourself then you may follow PART 2 , you’ll find all the source code in the PART 2 documentation, just copy and paste them in the joomla editor but to paste the PART 2 documentation source code you need to change the joomla global configuration editor setting to “No”. If you follow this way then you do not need to use JCE editor. But you can use JCE editor when you need it by joomla global configuration editor setting to “Yes”

I have a form with an email field that needs to be validated. When the validation fails the form rejects with the form fields populated with the previous data submitted. The problem I have is the email form field is being filled with the javascript encryption of the email address. How can I stop the email address being rewritten?

May be you are using a third party extension, If so I request you to please ask the developer team of the extension to help you because its a php/javascript coded extension and I can’t help you without I have it and if you write the code by yourself then I request you to do a google search for the specific error and I hope you’ll find a solution. If this was a theme related issue I must have the capability to know the issue and I’ll must do my best for you. But as it is a different extension or your own coded thing so it is very difficult for me to identify where is the problem actually, So please do not mind because if I know the actual issue for the coded thing then I may help you

Question 2) The download includes the file “administrator/error_log” which comes pre-populated with errors. My server has continued to add the same error to the file. Can I get a fix for this, thanks.

Hi, I appreciate your question. Its very easy to set the hits option (how many times the article has visited) . When you create the menu (Single article , Category Blog, Category List ) just go to the Advance option and in article option set “Show Hits” option to to “Show” . Then you will see the hist number in front end of every article.
