Hello,

Just saw that you have released a update for the theme. Thanks for that!

Can you let me know how do I update the theme to latest version. I have downloaded your theme file.

will I loose anything if I update?

I am currently running woocommerce 2.0.2 and the current woo commerce version available is 2.1.8

Last time I updated woocommece it created some problem then i switched back to 2.0.2 Is your latest theme update working without any issues with woo commerce 2.1.8? should I update woocommerce once I update your theme?

1. First you’ll need to manually updating the theme via FTP, by uploading the frenzy.zip to wp-content/themes/

2. next remove frenzy/ folder from wp-content/themes/ if you have made code change, would suggest you to do back up to your local

3. unzip the new uploaded frenzy.zip

4. then you can update your woocommerce plugin to the latest version

Hello,

Some thing went wrong.

I created a backup of my current frenzy folder

Then I removed the Folder from wp-content/themes/ Then I upload the latest unzipped frenzy folder to same location.

And I try to run the site. It shows only my background and logo rest all is gone!

I have not updated woo commerce yet. still running 2.02 What is the problem?

nackle2k10

there maybe an error on the zip file, also make sure for backup you’re not only renaming the folder, you also need to move it out of wp-content/themes/ folder or it will still be used as a theme.

I copied the existing frenzy folder on my server to my pc Next I deleted the frenzy folder online and uploaded the new frenzy folder from your latest version.

Does it have to be unziped? or its ok if i copy the latest frenzy folder

same problem! I have not updated woo commerce yet. Is that a issue I am running Woo V 2.02

nackle2k10

after you uploaded the .zip file, make sure you unzipped it so it will looks like wp-content/themes/frenzy then after everything work, you can update the woocommerce

Long use Infinite-Scroll plugin with your theme, everything worked perfectly long time – after loading all the posts a message stating that all downloaded, but after the last update all threads continues to loads in a circle like theme don’t report not found pages for plugin stop. Infinite-Scroll Plugin not updated (same version when it worked with theme).

from plugin author: Infinite scroll is configured to die when it hits a 404 Not Found status code, so when it goes through all your archives it should hit a /page/43/ (or something) that doesn’t exist, then show a message “Congrats, you’ve reached the end of the internet.” Some WordPress themes don’t report not found pages with a 404. Try a different theme or contacting the theme author.

nackle2k10

not sure with your issue, all latest update only for woocommerce compatibility issue, there is no change in theme core.

Use Infinite-Scroll for loading products on Woo products page) hmm maybe it’s Woo issue..

nackle2k10

if it’s about woocommerce, I would suggest you to downgrade, since woocommerce 2.1+ have tons of change. It’s almost like a completely new plugin

Hello. Am I able to change the html/css to alter the style accordingly for my website? Also does this have compatibility with multiple blogs on wordpress?

nackle2k10

yes, you can customize the css, not tested on multisite

Hello I just purchased this and installed it. I had a lot of my website previously finished with the twitter bootstrap but am trying to convert it with this and using wordpress.. I am afraid a lot of this is not going to work and I am going to end up with a completely different looking site which I DO NOT want

- How do I make my index like yours.. mine just shows a blog post? I want it to look like a website with a blog, not a blog only.

- I wanted to change some things about the css colors/add some divs and classes to make my site a little different how do I do this?

- I also want to add some scripts on each page that adds an image fading in and out. Where do I put the jquery/javascript files? Where do I go about doing this to make the necessary changes to my website within wordpress?

- I want to change the header and footer html and some of the css.

- Also, how do I add a gallery of photographs like in the other frenzy theme.

- On the bottom of the page it says please activate some widgets, what happened to the content that you had there in the footer as dummy text and how do I get it back? Also how do I get rid of all the “please activate some widgets”?

- Is there any way for me to add my own custom page without having to add it through wordpress? While keeping the same theme?

Thank you so much!!!

Also it is restricting a lot of things like logo size etc… how do I fix this stuff…

If this is too much to try to fix is there anyway I can use my old html site with the frenzy bootstrap theme not this one and just use this for the blogging/woocommerce… if this is much easier maybe you could explain how I would do something like that. My big issue is it MUST look the same as the other site, footer, header, logo, etc… nothing out of place. Thanks again.. Sorry for all the questions.

Have you try importing the dummy data? after importing data, here is to check 1. for home page, make sure you have set the Static Front Page ( this can be found on documentation )

2. Editing specific color can be found in Appearance > Theme Options, if to add div/class, etc then you’ll need to modify each code but altering code is not on support coverage.

3. adding some script such as analytics can be found in Appearance > Theme Options > Script & Style tab

4. You can add footer copyright content in Appearance > Theme Options > Footer, if you want to modify once again, altering core code is not supported.

5. to set up post with gallery, just upload all the image to the post using media uploader (without put it inside the editor) and set it’s post type to gallery

6. setup widget can be done in Appearance > Widgets, drag and drop the widget in to the Footer Sidebar Slots

7. You can add Page using Page menu in your admin, if you mean adding custom page template with different design, etc. then you’ll need to modify the code.

Would suggest you to try check on this Appearance > Theme Options, there are lots of setting can be done there.

- How do I import the dummy text?

- Also, do you think it is easier to just recreate the site using this or is there a way my site can look the same if I just used this for the blog/woocommerce? I am afraid of recreating it with little customization on my part and having it not look the same

Thanks again for your help

nackle2k10

Are you new to WordPress? for importing dummy data you can use Tools > Import, and put the import file from dummy data folder in your download package.

I don’t really get your questions, what you want to look the same as? don’t really get what you mean on this.

You’re very helpful I appreciate it. Yes, I am new to wordpress, sorry.. I have a website already coded in html with your bootstrap html frenzy theme, but I changed some of the css/html so it looks different. Switching to this multipurpose theme though I’m afraid I can’t make similar changes with this so it will look like a different website (or I just don’t know how to do it). So, I am considering only using it for blogging or ecommerce if that is the case since it seems that I can’t easily change the css/html, only the things in theme options.

nackle2k10

That would be hard, the WordPress version is already through lots of adjustment so it can be converted to a theme, there are some features removed cause of WP compatibility and some features added. you can still edit the css in wp-content/themes/frenzy/ folder and if you have a little experience in php it will be easy to add html code. you only need to know which area you can alter the code

On single product page when users not logged in they see – “You must be logged in to post a comment.” When hit logged in it’s redirects to backend /wp-login. We want hide backend form where we can change this link or what php hook we can use for this?

nackle2k10

that part is not controlled by theme, it’s left as it’s default value, you can find the param in here http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/comment_form#Parameters

Hi, I am having serious issues with the theme. when a customer goes to checkout or cart it freezes up and shows blank white page.. If I remove your theme and activate another and then switch back the checkout and cart works again. this happens on and off without warning. I desperately need your advice n how to fix this as I have a full retail business and stock relying on this to work…

nackle2k10

I’ve trying several times, but cannot reproduce your issue, can you make a short screencast for this issue?

Hi, I have narrowed the issue down to a plugin which may conflict with your theme. The plugin creator states they dont contain scripts to make the cart or checkout freeze. www.storeya.com I deactivated the plugin which is why you cant reproduce the problem. Do you have an email address so we can discuss this in a more private manner as I do not need competitors see my issues… I am happy to pay for help.. Thanks
