Thanks very much for the modified template, I’ll give that a shot!
One question: If I upload that, will all the changes (colours, logo, etc.) revert to default?
Hi Cdmcneil!
All changes made through the Theme Options panel are stored separately from the template files, thus modifying or rewriting them (including theme updates) will not alter the theme settings.
Best, Andrew | Satori
I’ve just uploaded the custom files you gave me and they worked without a hitch. Thanks so much for your prompt help, great customer service!
Great, glad it works
Should you have more questions or comments, feel free to create a topic on my support forum.

I am working with your theme but all the shortcodes are missing any suggestions thanks
Hi Farmerm3!
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
I’ve tried to replicate the error on a fresh installation of the latest version of Fuji (1.3), but to no avail – the shortcodes are working as they should. For me to be able to troubleshoot and fix the issue as quickly as possible, could you please send me an email to support@satoristudio.net with your website’s URL , admin area login/password, as well as FTP login/password. Thanks!
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi! First of all, great template. I need your help – I tried to implement a tal.ki forum, which works, but the embedded post is not expanding enough to fit the whole forum within the frame. Please see here: http://vocational-rehab.com/forum/ There should be five forums listed – the fifth is impossible to access because it disappears below the bottom of the frame. What line of code can I individually edit in order to fit everything in this particular area?
Thanks,
Craig
Hi Craig!
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
The problem you’ve described stems from the ifame element height limitation set in the theme in order to adjust certain parts of the template. To fix the issue, please go to “Appearance -> Editor” and add the following line to “style.css” (should be opened by default):
#content iframe { max-height: none !important; }
do not forget to hit “Update File” afterwards to save the changes
Should anything else pop up, do not hesitate to approach me – either here or by creating a topic on my support forums.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Thanks for the help! It worked perfectly. I’ve also noticed one more thing:
When I click on the “Blog” tab in the nav bar under the header, my header comments on the lower left of the header image disappear. There’s no text, but the shaded box is visible. They work everywhere else. Any ideas?
Hm, that’s indeed odd. Please try inserting the following code into style.css:
.orbit-caption-text { display: block !important; }
Sincerely,
Andrew | Satori
Unfortunately, that didn’t work.
Dear Craig,
I do not see the line I mentioned above in your style.css file – could you please double-check if you’ve added it? Do not forget to hit “Update File” after inserting the code
Best, A | Satori
I put it under /Header/... let me know if I need to put it right at the top.
Nevermind, I think I reloaded the cache—works now!
Glad it works!

Heya,
I got an error:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘twitter_widget_script’ not found or invalid function name in /home/webmast2/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403
Hey Beachhouse!
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
The issue you are talking about is a known bug, please accept my apologies for this one. All you need to do to remove the message is download this archive from my file repository, unpack it, and upload via FTP to the following folder: wp-content/themes/Fuji/includes/twitter-widget/, replacing the existing file.
Should you have more questions or comments, do not hesitate to approach me, I’ll be glad to help!

Interested in buying, but a quick question. Is there a way to get the portfolio effect on other pages? For example, we want to use the one-item portfolio style on many different pages for different types of products, instead of just having one portfolio page with the different tags. Is there a select which tags or categories of items we want on each page? Or a way to shortcode portfolio pieces in? If not, is there a way we can manually edit this in to each page using that style?
Hi Purewebresults!
Fuji’s “native” templates and functions do not support the features you mention: if you crease several pages of the same portfolio type, all of them would show all items.
The desired configuration can be achieved by modifying the template files by hand: cloning the portfolio template and telling each of the respective WP_query loops to pick only the needed categories of items (http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query). It shouldn’t be very difficult if you are familiar with the WordPress architecture; in principle, I can do it for you if you want, but I would have to charge a small fee for that since I’d classify this as a theme customization. If you’ve interested, please email me at support@satoristudio.net.

Hi!
I know you can assign a default static image header to display on pages through theme options panel and selecting “blank” option or “static header” on page/post creation.
But I would like to know if it is possible to assign different static headers to different pages. I’ve tried but I haven’t been able. Is this possible?
Thanks!
Hi LunaticZorr,
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
In Fuji, the header image/slider are intended for the entire website, which is why they are located above the content and the menu. To customize individual pages, you can use featured images, e.g. like here: http://satoristudio.net/fuji/page-layouts/page-layout-full-width/.
Different headers for individual pages can be achieved by altering the template files – if having several different image headers is very important for you, please provide your website’s URL and the page/header image pairs you wish to set up – and I will try to do it for you.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi again!
I’ve noticed that the Text before the middle menu items does not display on the latest update of the theme. In the theme options panel I’ve introduced some words but they wont appear on the website. How can I solve this? Or is this a small theme bug?
Thanks!
Dear LunaticZorr,
Indeed, this is a mistake of mine, thus I must apologize and also thank you for pointing it out. I’ve checked all earlier versions of Fuji (including the pre-release ones) and did not find the functional code for this option – I must have forgotten about it in the process.
However, since the options are there, I’ve of course fixed the issue and will include the fix into the next theme update. Meanwhile, I’ve sent you the fix to your @hotmail email which you indicated on the forums (in case you want to get it to another email – let me know
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi again … and sorry!
I just noticed that URLs inserted vía HTML into the footer section do not work correctly.
I used:
Copyright© Nippon Koku
And on the website when clicking on it I’m directed to http://nipponkoku.es/www.nipponkoku.es
Any solution to this?
Thanks!
Dear LunaticZorr,
Please try this: insert the URLs in full, i.e. together with the “http://” in the front – the ones I’ve inserted in the theme demo work fine
Let me know if it helps.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi! One of the dropdowns (Resources) in the top navbar is cutting off some link text. All the other dropdowns are fine. Can you help me figure out what to edit to fix this?
Also, I notice that in Chrome, the Mini Calendar widget’s “Go” button is on the same line as the Month and Year dropdowns, but not for Firefox or IE. Is there any way I can widen the sidebar by a smidge to fit it all on one line for those three browsers?
Thanks! - Craig
http://vocational-rehab.com/Hey Craig,
I apologize for the bug, this is a mis-statement of a css rule. To fix it, please go to “Appearance -> Editor” and add the following line to “style.css” (should be opened by default): #nav-primary .sliding-menu-container ul ul a { width:132px !important; }
Thank you for pointing this out, I will add a fix to the next theme update! Also, should you have more questions, do not hesitate to contact me – either here or by creating a topic in the forums.
Best, Andrew | Satori
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for you answers.
Don’t worry about the static headers. If it needs editing the PHP files don’t worry. I’ll find a great way using featured images. (already have some ideas :D).
As for the text before the middle menu, your fix worked perfectly. Thank you very much!
And last but not least, using full urls (http) worked perfectly. Thank you very much!
Hi there,
I would like to purchase the Fuji theme but I am wondering if the “calendar” and “upcoming event” tools/apps will also be included?
Thanks
Hi KMCD,
thank you for taking interest in my work!
I apologize for the slow reply (holidays are distracting
Could you please specify which widgets/tools you had in mind? The built-in default “Calendar” widget or a third-party plugin?
Merry Christmas!
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi Andrew,
thanks for your reply – even during Christmas season.
I apologize for not have mentioned the calendar I was thinking of. I found this link on your forum: vocational-rehab.com
I liked the two boxes on the right very much and was hoping to get this included in the theme?
Thanks kmcd
Dear KMCD,
at the moment the advanced calendar/even function is not included into Fuji, my main line of reasoning is because it is quite distant from the core functions of the theme and because of the differing needs of the users which imply that a single built-in calendar might not be enough.
However, it is of course possible to use third-party plugins with Fuji, e.g. My Calendar (which is used by the website you mention), or All-in-One Event Calendar (used by http://wmi.kcwebmedia.com/). Should you have any troubles with the plugins, do not hesitate to contact me – either here or by creating a thread on my forums.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Hi,
I noticed that when viewing my blog static page, it ignores the page template (sitewide, I turned off the sidebar and header image except for the home page), and displays the sidebar and header. Is there any way to modify this so that the blog page doesn’t have a sidebar/header?
Thanks!
Hey Craig!
I suppose you were speaking about the page called “RPEN Blog”. I’ve disabled the slider for that page by also editing the index.php file in the same fashion as I edited the pages templates previously to tweak the custom header display algorithm.
The sidebar is a more complicated issue, since the blog page template for Fuji (as most other themes’ blog pages) has a sidebar by default. In any case, I’ve modified the template files and hopefully the result is what you intended to have.
While I was at it, I’ve also updated your lessframework.css file to the current theme version (2.1), which has improved mobile-friendly view of the website. In case something go messed up during the update, let me know, I will roll back to the previous version.
Best, Andrew | Satori
Wonderful Andrew, thank you very much!
When I was experimenting with the blog page template, I was able to remove the sidebar, but I couldn’t figure out how to expand the text to the far right edge. I’m learning as I go along.
If I ever needed to roll anything back, could you tell me what files you modified, so I could compare them to a previous backup? I’d like to learn for myself what you did so I can be more self-reliant.
Everything looks great, by the way.
Hey Craig,
I’ve modified the following template files: - single.php (removed the sidebar tag) - index.php (removed the sidebar tag) - lessframework.css (updated to the latest version + declared appropriate width for the #content element on blog and single post pages).
Best, Andrew | Satori
AH, lessframework! I got to the point of removing the sidebar but I couldn’t figure out where to extend the width. Thanks again man, you provide excellent support and I will be recommending you in the future.
Last question, sorry :)—is there any way I can enable a mouseover for the middle menu when choosing links in dropdowns?
Hey Craig,
if you mean declaring a separate styling for the main items of the middle menu, while hovering over the respective submenu – then try this:
#nav-secondary li:hover a { color: #ff0000; } #nav-secondary li:hover .sub-menu a { color: #ffffff; }This code will colour the main menu item red, while leaving the submenu items white. In case I misunderstood the issue, please clarify
Best, A. | Satori
Sorry that I didn’t describe that well—I don’t want to highlight the main items, I want to highlight the submenu links that are in the dropdown.
#nav-secondary li li:hover { background-color: #444444; }Cheers, A. | Satori
Well that was just too easy.
Thanks!
Anytime
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the great theme and all the help customizing it. You are a gem. I hope you keep making Wordpress themes!
Best wishes, Shambhavi
Thank you for the kind words, Shambhavi! I enjoy working with you
Best, Andrew | Satori
Great Theme! Thanks a lot. I’ve got a question about the excerpts. They don’t work. At least on my site. Can you help me? I’m not a Coder, so a noob-answer is recommended
Thanks!
Hey Goal,
First of all, thank you for the purchase!
As far as I understood, you want to display only some parts of posts on the blog page, while being able to access the rest via a “read more” link, like on the Fuji demo page. If that’s the case, then what you want is the so-called “more” quicktag, which is a native WordPress way of achieving this. The “more” quicktag determines the cutting point for the post content and automatically generates a link to the rest of the post.
There are three ways to add the tag: first, you can use a specialized button – if your post editor is in the “Visual” mode (check the tab on the top right), the button will look like a page cut by a dotted line – and if you’ve in the “HTML” mode, the button will simply say “more”. The second way is to use Alt+Shift+T key combination; and the third way is to input
by hand while in the “HTML” mode. You can read further about the “more” quicktag on WordPress’ official website here.
Should you have more questions or comments, do not hesitate to contact me, either here or by creating a topic on my support forums.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Thank you for your fast answer! That’s what I call Support
Great to know about the “more” tag. Will help me a lot in future projects! Is it possible to have different Content on the Excerpts and on the post? Example: Excerpt: “Look at this Article. It’s really awsome. Read more.” And the Post has a different text. The normal excerpt don’t work for now. Do you have a fix for this?
Best regards from Switzerland, Tristan
Hey Tristan,
then download this custom file I’ve made for you, unzip it, and re-upload via FTP into your theme folder (wp-content/themes/Fuji), replacing the existing file.
To define the excerpt text, fill in the “Excerpt” box under the text editor in the post edit mode. In case the box isn’t there by default, open the “Screen Options” tab on the top right and tick the “Excerpt” option.
Sincerely, Andrew | Satori
Thank you so much!! It’s working! Now it only needs a little bit of tweaking, but I think I’m able to do this
Great Support Andrew! Thanks!
Best wishes, Tristan
