Hi,

Can you tell me I have to do to modify the list of categories of the portfolio to make it better visually?. I am attaching a screenshot of how they are now and how I would like to see.

The idea is to appear ordered and tabulated (categories and subcategories).

Another thing, how I can make the main menu display in multicolumn mode? As you have it in the template AwardW.

Use load_theme_textdomain instead of load_textdomain for wp compliance please. Then you could also use the theme with internationalization plugins like “Codestyling localization”.

for home page layout, i try enter a youtube video or any text to video section and upon save nothign is stored in field and so doesnt show video frontend? is this bug how can i fix?

tried and tested over again, cannot edit or add video url to youtube or vimeo on any home page templates, home video etc

doesnt submit so had to do phpmyadmin query to adjust… there seems to be bug. im using latest version firefox nor chrome Front Page Options: Video URL (enter the video URL [youtube or vimeo]) enter url or any text and it doesnt save just blank

Anyone know how I might change the default font (for the menu and header tags) to a Myriad Pro look?

I found text.css and see you can change the fonts here, but can not for the life in me figure out where you placed the call the google webfont api to call the google web font “Arvo”. Can you give me a tip is to where you are actually calling the Google Webfont of choice?

I found the call in the header.php, probably a nube questions but thought I would share for anyone else who might be looking.

I wanted to add what I saw another guy mention, in the top right hand corner where you type a phone number (or whatever) the text IS indeed appended with a colon ( which is somewhat annoying.

I HAVE A PRE SALE QUESTION : Is the layered slider visible on ipads and iphones. I do not have the devices to test it. Some themes that i have purchased advertised the compadibilty with devices and do not have such. i like the slider due to the fact that it gives a flash apperance, which my clents wants. i advised not to go with flash because it can’t be viewed with all devices. this slider seems to be the solution.

once again my question is:

IS THERE A WAY IN WHICH I CAN LOAD THE DEMO INFORMATION AND JUST WORK AROUND THAT . mY CLIENT LIKES THE DEMO SITE AND REALLY NEEDS IT DONE asap. I WAS WONDERING IS THERE A FILE I CAN IMPORT IN ORDER TO CREATE THE SAME LOOK AND MODIFY AS NEEDED ? sorry not yelling just realized it’s all in caps.

I seem to not be able to get my menu to change color when i hover over a menu item. In the demo when you hover over a menu item it turns blue. Also when you hover over a image in the portfolio widget it turns blue as well. Can you please tell me how to create that effect. when i hover over a menu item it turns white and it appears as if the menu item disappears

Hi I’m getting a prompt at the top of my WP dashboard ever since updating to the newest OptionTree version of:

“The OptionTree plugin is required for this theme to function properly. Install now.”

How can I remove this? Thanks.

@gebersole: Yes it’s possible to upload your own background via admin menu

@lidplussdesign there is a new option tree version. Should we update?

@xroox You have to install the option tree plugin manually after installing the theme. It’s for showing theme options in admin menu. Problem: There is a new version (2.0.x) out there just now, but this theme uses option tree 1.1.8.1 at the moment. So you could a) download the old option tree version and be happy or b) wait for lidplussdesign to answer my question above

by the way, this is my custom opinion: I purchased this theme being a student of informatics and it’s a good starting point, but it has it’s faults and misconceptions. You are not able (wihtout touching sources) to internationalize the admin menu, you are not able to remove the hardcoded ”:” at the 2 header metas without touching the php files, the column-layout is working only with full width template, there is no sidebar-right-template, comments are not working for pages without touching code and so on and so on… But this shouldn’t sound too hard, it’s – as said before – a very nice starting point, and what more should I expect for 45$, so I rated fusion 4 Stars and I hope for further improvements. The page I’ll use the theme for will go “online” on sunday -> markus-fahrschule_dot_de (german drivers school site), just if you’d like to see what I’ve done

WHAT HAPPENED TO lidplussdesign?

For everyone feeling limited with the front page widgets in this design and don’t want to use html and the text widget: I tried this plugin -> http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/ and it works like a charm adding custom content to the front page (at least in wp 3.4.1). Just drag/drop the widget to the place you want the content to appear and add your own content with the known visual tinymce editor. I hope you won’t flag this as a commercial, I just felt limited and searched for a good widget to add custom content to the front page and this is my solution. I haven’t created the plugin and do not know the author

@thevurge: I think just lidplussdesign could give you the appropriate answer. I’m out of here now, too. Site’s fine and running, so I have to do my studies

1. I do not see anywhere how to manage comments made ??by web users. The wordpress comments section appears empty. How I can do?

2. The plugin that handles the portfolio who develops it?. Because I want to introduce a field searches (zip code, for example) and adjust the display of categories and subcategories. My intention is to create a business guide.

No, I have no comments plugin installed. Only the plugin installed by default brings your theme.
