I would like to buy your theme, but there are 5 questions :
1) Is it possible to make subfolders (albums) in Your portfolio?
2) Is it possible to make image in subfolders in portfolio linkable, like here – http://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/DeepFocus/category/portfolio/
3) Is it possible to add some social icons by myself?
4) Is this theme support russian UTF -8 encoding?
5) Is it possible to add Subfolder (Album) or photo titles in portfolio?
Hi romuls! Thanks for good words. If you mean about subcategories , yes you can create portfolio subcategories how many you wish. and the will be linkable.
You can upload your own icon in png format in the social_icon folder and they will be detect automaticlly.
Yes it support russian encoding. You just will need to create a ru_RU.po and ru_RU.mo files. This theme is ready for localization.
Is it possible to increase slider height more than 410 px in NIVO and LOF TABBED sliders? I need 990×660 px picture size.
I am afraid that not. The main width of the body is 980px and the max height of the slider is 410px.
demo background options are hiding behind the slider in chrome…

Hi Srounds! Thanks for good words. I think it will work, I didn’t check how it looks on iphone or ipad, the reason is that I will release very soon a mobile version of this theme.
That sounds great! Will I need to purchase this one as well as the iPhone/iPad one when you have it ready? And how will that work? For iPhone users, when they go to the site will it automatically display the moble version? Or will I need to create two separate sites-

You will be able to use the same domen and the same wp install or another one, as you wish. There is a plug-in that detects when user visit your site with mobile device and shows the mobile version.

Hi rawtoast! the video tabs shows only videos, but it will need some customization to show iframe like yours.

Well, having worked with lots of WP themes so far I have to say it is FANTASTIC to see you have pulled together the very best of the features it would appear.
When working on a project I always ask that it is okay to rename the theme into the clients name so that anyone looking at the source cannot easily identify the theme origins. Is this okay with yours?
If so I can then buy. Please note that I do only use the theme once ;o)

Hi, I just purchased the theme and I am having trouble installing it.
I have the most up to date WordPress Installation, I went over the help guide, but it simple states “Install the Gallant theme and click Activate”
I tried installing the entire zip file “gallant-wordpress-theme.zip” and I even tried to just install “gallant.zip” from inside the folder “gallant theme full”
Please help!
Hi only1diamari! Thanks for purchasing Gallant. Try to install using ftp. Copy the Gallant folder from gallant theme full folder in the yoursite.com/wp-content/themes and after this activate it.
If this doesn’t help you, please send to me account info of the wp-admin to webincode at gmail dot com and I will figure out what is wrong.

Magic – I am buying it right now!!!! Do you have any idea of when the Mobile one will come like in your Hybrido theme? It will take me around 4 to 6 weeks to get the standard site done for the client so no rush right now but he would like a mobi version at launch if at all possible.

Hi! You can set the height of the slider from 0 to 410px with range scroller, this works only for Nivo slider and static image.

The homepage sliders has 2 display ways: images + video (in your demo). 1.Is it possible to start the homepage slider with the videos-slides instead of images? 2. Now what if i want to display only 1 video? Is this possible? What happens with the ‘image-tab’ in this case? More only videos? 3. Does the ‘lof slider mod’ work with only videos, video + images ? 4. The space beneath the slider: what & how is this build up (widgets,...)?

Hi anok4u2! Thanks. 1. there is no option to change the tabs in theme, but I can do it if you will need it.
2. There is option to disable sorting the slider items by type, videos and images, and it show all items without tabs.
3. The Lof slider mod is only for images, Video supports the Lof slider with tabs. 4. Beneth the slider there is blurb text space that you can add in it using Gallant options panel
I made a corporate video for my client. So as i understand it well….it is possible when landing on the homepage, a video starts to autoplay?
It possible to do with a little modification in code. I can assist you how to do this.
Hi, this is a great theme. I purchases it a couple of days ago and i’m just updating my wordpress site. One question – in your live preview the fonts look a lot nicer than they do in mine. For example my Headings are just appearing in Arial. Not sure what fonts yours are, but the are anti-alias also. I viewed the page source on your typography page, and saw the cufon was dejavu sans serif condensed, so changed mine accordingly.
Are you able to advise please – as with the regular font showing, it doesn’t look as nice.
