Gallant WordPress Theme

I have upgraded WordPress to 3.3 and now the list of Slider Portfolio Items overlap each other in the editor – making it impossible to select them individually.

It doesn’t matter if you change the Screen Options or switch from List to Excerpt view.

It looks as if it has something to do with the CSS file but I haven’t modified it except for changing the logo size in the header.

I have the same problem using Chrome or Firefox and on two different computers.

How do link a slider item to a Portfolio?

I am trying to link each item in the slider to a project page which has a detailed description of the project and other images – and I am using a Portfolio page for each project.

I have added the <!more> tag to description and edited the link to the Portfolio page but the link keeps going to the Slide Item and not to the Portfolio which contains that item.

Is there a way of doing this?

On my iphone when you have a a submenu drop down, it goes behind the youtube player in the home slideshow… is there a way to fix this?

I purchased and installed your theme 2 days ago and am having trouble with the widget section. There are no sidebar options showing up and no way to drag any widgets anywhere. I uploaded the theme folder via FTP and I have the latest version of wordpress installed… is there a fix?

I’ve just been informed that one of the sites I recently built with this theme has been hacked, and therefore removed from the hosting server.

Apparently, it’s the timthumb script which has caused the issue. Are you aware of any issues with this and are you able to help rectify the situation?

I have an entrire folder witth hacked files, like: IN CACHE FOLDER : b.c bcc (exec file) external_df2af4fb2d2bbefd0b35f159c527d75e.php external_742cf0fb7a89f413420fc73654b0802a.php sb.txt .sc.pid slfi.txt snc2.txt

IN TMP FOLDER : The same and pbot.jpg sh.jpg (encripted file base 64)

and others…

I also had a load of hacker-related files in a cache folder. Again, I’ve been told it’s the timthumb plugin which is causing this issue.

We would really like an update on how to rectify this.

ive also had my site hacked and my host Heart Internet wont allow me to run this theme anymore so im having to rebuild my clients site in another theme.

i run more than 50 wordpress sites and never had an issue like this before.

having reinstalled from scratch once before and with the tightest security possible for a wordpress site – the site was hacked again within 24 hours and inserted are domain redirects to Russian web sites with files in the Theme/cache folder amongst others. DO NOT OPEN THE FILES ON YOUR PC AS IT MAY ALSO GET INFECTED .

@cameronferris – I’m a Heart Internet reseller … so they approached me about the hack. Again, it’s the timthumb plugin (or at least that’s what they told me). If I don’t get a solution soon, I’m also going to have to build my client’s website.

1. Updated timthumb,php file. 2. Fixed css bug in slider posts section. 3. Added a custom.css and option for custom css in the Gallant Panel

My Gallant installation was also hacked!!!! I have downloaded the theme again but what do I do to upgrade? Do I pick out the timthumb file and upload or the whole theme/ If it is the whole theme what is the best way to do it? Just overwrite the theme folder via FTP ? Can anyone advise as to how they upgraded. Last thing I want to do is break to whole site!!! Many thanks.

I am having a problem with this theme. It appears to be adding a "
" before all " " and is throwing off the alignment.

Problem goes away on other themes. It is not seem to be in the css or js. As I renamed these and the problem remains. The only pluggin I have is Shopp but I have deactivated it and the problem remains. Please help

Sorry last comment did not like me using the actual tags.

It appears to be adding a br tag  before all span tags and is throwing off the alignment.

It seems to be comming from lib\inc\shortcodes.php add_filter(‘the_content’, ‘my_formatter’, 99);

I have remove this line. What is this for?

I have a problem with the navigation on my home, only in homepage doesn´t work. I selected the blog template but is only in home where it doesn´t work.

Hey thanks for this theme, it looks pretty cool. I just built the slider, and I was wondering if you can help me populate the copy in the blurb field below the slider where it can say “Have you searched for the perfect theme…”

Also, are the my music, and the self hosted video that is demonstrated on the demo, pages, or are they something else?

I am trying to get those nice icons below the slider and fill each icon with a youtube clip

Hey thanks for this theme, it looks pretty cool. I just built the slider, and I was wondering if you can help me remove the icons right below the slider. I only have one video for the slider, and I would like to remove the area right below it that would have allowed you to scroll to different videos in the slider.

Also, for the portfolio, I am using youtube videos and was wondering if it was possible to use still shot from youtube video instead of a featured image?

Also, how do I get the 3 content areas below the portfolio area?

if i choose the nivo slider in the gallant options, i can see only 5 slides. how i can make for see for example 10 slides in the home page sliders with nivo mode? Please help me.
