Hello, This is a nice thee and i am actually planning on purchasing the theme. But i have a few pre-sale questions.
1-) Will the thumbnails on home page selected from the first image in the post automatically?
2-) How does the images work with the slider? I mean should we select a featured image or will it just select it from the post? Or do i have to upload an image to my post, which is “enough wide and enoguh high” to fit in the slider or just i can upload an image ex. 200×200 and will it be resized to a x b, which is used on the slider & thumbnails.
3-) How does the image resizing work? Are the thumbnails generated via “crop” or just “resizing the image dimensions” ?

Thanks for the interest!
1) The thumbnails are generated via Wordpress’ Featured Images, so once you set a featured image for a post, that will be the thumbnail for the post around the site.
2) The slider uses featured images as well. The recommended dimensions for the image are 610×400 and while larger images will be cropped to fit that dimension, if images are smaller, they will have blank space below or beside the image.
3) They are cropped
Is there anyway i can make the latest tweets from my twitter account show up in the ticker area instead of posts?

Unfortunately this is not a feature of the theme and while I do offer to perform small custom changes, this would require more than just a short fix, so it is something you would have to modify on your own or get a third party to help you with since I am unable to provide this level of customization to all of my customers. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Responsive design / Responsive Layout Seems to be gone after last update.. or is it just me?

Any way to to show the photo description or credit under the featured image of each story. I need a place to give credit to the corresponding photographer for the image.

No worries. This should be updated within the next update as giving credit to photos is a very important aspect to any website.
I agree with uwinandout above, photo credits are extremely important, especially for a news website. This is something I will need as well so that my various photographers can receive credit for their work. I will likely be purchasing this theme but I will hope that that feature can be added in a future update. The font could be very small so it shouldn’t hinder the current design to have the credit below the photos.

Pre-purchase question: Can the 728×90 top banner size be adjusted a little less wide so that the logo can be wider? Or is that banner a fixed size somehow?

There is an option that if you do not wish to use the 728×90 ad area, that you can display a logo as wide as you’d like. But it’s an either/or situation, where if you want a 728×90 ad, the max size of the logo will have to be 222px wide. Other than that, you are free to edit the CSS to fit your needs.
The theme is great! But i have a few small request that i hope you can assist me with. 1. The newsticker displays how many days ago a post was written. Is it possible to remove this date-refernence? 2. Beside the post slider, under “Right now”, its also visble how many days ago the post was written. Can this date-reference also be removed?

Hi, I have tested the theme on http://quirktools.com/screenfly/ to see how it works on different type of computers & phones & tablets etc. I think there is something that you have to work on with the “dimensions” when we are viewing theme. you will understand what i mean ex. if you try the theme
1-) apple ipad mini (and there rotate the screen via clicking on “rotate screen button” on the top)
- You can see, the slider is full-width but the categories have only 2 columns (it does not seem so cool)
or also ex.
2-) kindle fire HD 8.9 (no need to rotate this time) and the same thing happens here. the slider is perfect with full-width, but the categories below it are on only one-column at the left side, and this does not seem so cool because the right side is just blank.
you can also check it with different devices to see how the theme looks like.
Do you think that we can edit it after we purchase the theme? I mean, is there a “section” that we can change the dimensions of that parts for “different devices” ? Or will you fix it? Or what can we do for it? Just wanted to let you know and be informed about it before i purchase this beautiful theme.

You have to be careful when using emulators like this since they may not give an accurate representation of what the site looks like on the actual device itself. Some of these emulators take into account the scroll bar when calculating the device window, but on the actual device, there is no scroll bar.
My advice is to test the site out on the actual device and you will see that the theme responds accurately and very well to each device.
Allright, thanks for the information. I am actually pretty sure that everything is okay with the theme but i just wanted to test it and let you know (yeah, we can not see if there is a problem) now, iknow that i have to test it with actual devices

The featured slider doesn’t showed up initially.then i deactivated the “Jetpack” plugin and then the featured slider begin to work. but after that the thumbnails are not resizing properly.

I plan to buy this theme but I need to know 1 thing. I do not like how it looks on IE8 (is there a way to fix it so it looks the same as other browsers).

I’m not sure what you mean by how it looks in IE8, but there are certain CSS3 elements that IE8 and IE in general do not read, so that is a general browser issue and nothing to really do with the theme itself.
I can guide you through removing the responsiveness if you choose to purchase the theme.
I placed the update on to my site and now the tags are looking funny and not lined up properly as they were before.
You can see here at this link as how the first one starts and then the second one dips down below it somewhat. I think this is a new bug that must have cropped up as you did your last update.

Hi just checking out your theme great theme i mast say. i have notice on your home page if you resize the browser the third post widget don’t display only shows two column? and the last top right NBA is not line up with the rest of the other blocks

Your ticker was working, but there was an issue where it wasn’t displaying properly based on a change you made to the Ticker heading text. I explained more about it in the ticket on the Support Center.

Unfortunately, this feature has not been added to the theme, but it is something I am looking into for a future update as others have asked for the same feature. I can’t guarantee when (or if) it will be included, though.
