Hi Dan, I have used the theme and it works beautifully, I changed it to be a magazine style site. But I only have one page that allows posting of comments and for that I used the Features page template (though I labeled the tab something else). I did not use the Reviews/Previews pages and all the rest of the pages I created are set to Main Page (no parent) and Default page template.

Is that why a person can’t post on the other pages? I already used the features template or can I reuse it or something?

Hi Dan, Well I figured out what I needed to do to allow for posting of Comments on other pages! If anyone else has this issue, you have to add the following code to the page.php template: <?php comments_template(); ?> It works it really does! Thank you for answering my other issue.

Hi dan I have purchased and installed the templated. I have a few problems: -Mine slide show just doesn’t work. -I have a tab , that is named select a page: but I haven’t made or named that tab. But I just can’t get rid of the this tab or neme it differly.

Could you give me advice how to fix this problems

In your WordPress Dashboard, go to the ‘GamePress’ page and set the Options as described in the PDF .

I did, but it still doesn’t work I can’t change select the page: dont even undestand how it got there. The slice show doesn’t work either even after changing things like written in de pdf file

I am installing gamepress on a new virtual server inside of our firewall at work because we are using it for our intranet website. We are running umbutu with all the latest LAMP versions. I have followed the instructions for the image feature slider and disable any plugins that might be a conflict and I can’t get those posts to show up. They show up only in the latest news and dont’ show the image in the post either. Can you guide me how to trouble shoot this?

Dan, I try to set up a feature post in the gampress theme. I have one problem/question: how do I set the small text within the feautre post? When I use the “read more” tag, then the whole layout will crash (e.g. sidebar under the feature post section, etc.).

Hey, anyone know why only admin can see the comments? I’ve double checked all my settings in the wp reading and still can’t seem to get the name to show up next to the comment unless I’m logged in as an Admin? www.okobserver.net

@ajohnson: That’s odd. It looks like it may be to do with your WordPress install itself, and not GamePress. Try re-uploading the comments.php theme file.

I’ve reuploaded the theme’s comments.php as well as original wp-comments files. Any other ideas where to look?

I am trying to make use of the sub seccions shown in the new page in the exmaple. I dont know if its either a category or a page wich I have to get publish so It appears as a submenu opcion not as a menu option.

Hi, the drop-downs for the ‘News’ page are post categories.

Any categories you have created will drop-down from your News page. (Make sure you’ve set your news page option on the ‘GamePress’ page).

The live demo resembles nothing like the screenshot. Please fix.

GamePress comes built-in with two ‘styles’: black and white. The live preview is using the white style, most of the screenshots are of the black one. This way you get a good look at exactly what you’d be buying.

Hi , I am currently trying to set up the Gamepress-Theme on my Testserver. Everything is working fine ,beside on big problem : I can not see post when i click on them. You will only see a blank page if you try to view a post.

Everything is working fine, if i change the theme back to a default theme, so i really dont know what i am doing wrong.

Great theme, I’m glad I bought it! Just one problem, though. In the feature-slider, I can’t figure out how to display the image.

Key: feature-main Description: imgurl, large image. Size: 475×250

That’s how I have it on mine, and it’s still not displaying.
