Fantastic theme, and also it has to be said – and this is why I’m writing this as I think it’s worth highlighting – fantastic customer service from Dan. I had a question which was answered (and a solution to the question provided) within an incredibly short period of time. Great work and I look forward to whatever he comes up to in future!

I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time and Wordpress being so easy to use this was a natural transition as opposed to the traditional CMS . I do have a couple questions.

How do I get adwords to work on the side bar without manually adding the code. Your advert only has a place for URL ’s not code.

Also my I would like for my Logo to be bigger that the area allowed for it. How would I get that to work with this theme. Here is my site address http://agzonline.com

What other plug-ins would you recommend are good to use for a gaming site since you seem to have a good grasp at what needs to be on a gaming site?

Oh and how do I create drop down menus for different review topics like Xbox 360, PS3 ect.

Trying to get Tweet Suite to work and for some reason the tweet this button only shows the name of the post.

Also I can’t seem to change the name format of the URL ’s on the site without my logo disappearing. In adition to that the logo is not a link it’s just an Image and I would like for it to be a link back to the front page of the site.

I really like the look of the theme. I have a few issues with it though.

-When i post with images, they appear 2 inches lower than the place for the featured posts. They appear, but just out of place, and their thumnails do not show in the panel. the images are resized to 475×250, and the image is named ben.jpg

-I was wondering if there was a way to rename the pages, like “previews” to “blog” or something. Also their are other headers called “latest previews” within the previews page, how can i customize them.

-how can I post to certain pages, like when i post a video it apears in the videos sidebar, but not in the videos page. Also i have pages and sub pages, like on Blog, there is two other “sub-blogs” that i would like to be able to specifiy my posts to

Really I am not using this theme for anything that has to do with games, and i hope that is ok and easy to customize for other topics.

beveslage Are you still using Gamespress? Your site looks great. How did you get the drop down menus to work. I’ve been trying to get an answer to how to get this to work, but no luck.

Hey there great skin but i just cant get the featured image to work i have everything but its not showing up.

Just set up this theme and everything, so far, is working pretty good.

Am having some trouble getting the featured slider on the Main Page to work correctly. I am guessing that it has to do with the Keys. I saw mention in the documentation, but as a noob to WordPress, the instructions were a little unclear.

Seeing that a number of posters here are having troubles with this same function, you might consider posting up more detailed instructions on how Keys work and how to tweak the Feature function?

@ultraindy: Please message me the URL of your site. Have you set the keys in lower-case?
Also, is the URL for the feature image hosted on your site (ie. the same domain as your WordPress install)?

Hi Dan I recently purchase your gamespress theme, how do you add Latest Review, Latest Preview, Survey and Videos on the right hand side of the page. Also having problem added advert on the sidebar. I am using WP 2 .7.1

Once you’ve set up the theme as per the documentation (and filled in the appropriate settings), go to Appearance -> Widgets, and add the widgets you like to the sidebar.

Yes, create a new post in your Features category, and add the image to the appropriate custom field.

Hi Dan Can you give me an examples how to add image in the custom field.

It seem to have a problem with IE 7 . The feature slider are overflowing the main content. Try opening http://greenacrescoop.com/blog on IE7 . and let me know

chreeze: I don’t have access to a version of IE7 right now (running Mac), however I haven’t heard of this problem before.

Try using the More Tag to split the post content at a certain point. I’ll get back to you once I try it out in IE7 .
