Garnish: Clean-Cut WordPress Portfolio Theme

Hi! Love the theme!

Can an entry into the portfolio have multiple photos? From the demo I tried, it seemed that each portfolio entry only has one photo.

Bought the theme! Quick question – I know the answer to this, but I’ll ask anyways…

In the portfolio – After I open a portfolio entry – Is it possible to create a mouse rollover of the image? So I’d roll the mouse over the image and it would change to another image. (I’m trying to create some “before and after” pics)

With regards to the thumbnails, once I click on a thumbnail image, it comes up at a larger size, which is great..but I have to go back to the homepage to see the next thumbnail at a large size. Is their an easy way of once clicking on a thumbnail you can scroll through the rest at the larger image size rather than having to go back to the thumbnails? Hope this makes sense…

Hi! I love this theme and think I’m about to purchase. Is it possible to remove the ”/” marks between the items on the menu? I don’t know a lot about coding, is that possible and would it be fairly straightforward?

Am seriously considering buying this theme today but need to know if I can put customized bottom widgets across the bottom with text in some of them. I see some widgets are available but just certain ones and it doesn’t specify where they are displayed.

Also, in the blog, can I add a second image to the header without messing with the PHP ? Thanks!!

A footnote to my post above…the other option would be the ability to put some text in a sidebar on the Home page, similar to the Gridlocked theme. I just want to be able to put my skills on the Home page somewhere, and don’t see that option on the Garnish theme…does anyone know if I can do using Garnish? I really like Garnish otherwise, especially its ability to let you add multiple images for each project. If there is another theme that lets you do both of these things, could you let me know? I need to buy a theme asap. Thanks!

Hello, this theme looks great. One question though before I purchase.

On the iPad and iPhone, since there is no mouse and just touch, “clicking” once on a portfolio item actually just highlights it. Then you click it a 2nd time, and it opens up the work.

Is there a way to change this, so that when using a touch device, it responds to a “click” the first time it’s attempted? Thanks.

Is there some documentation for the localization ?

I have translated the default.mo & default.po with a software. (Worked before on others themes)
But Now it’s like Garnish theme won’t load theme.

I have tried 2 things:

first put

And put my files in languages directory fr_FR.po & fr_FR.mo

Also tried :

to replace the default.mo & default.po (with French content).
Don’t worked. in wp-config.php define(‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’); is set.

One question I have regarding the front page.. Is there an easy way to change a portfolio item so that it could possibly link to a URL address?

I assume this might require a function or dabbling in php?

Hello! I am interested in this theme for a music blog. Can each “portfolio” or “post” contain audio in mp3, etc. form AND video from youtube in it without having to click it and open the media in another browser? Also if it does take audio, like an mp3, its important that one cant click the player and download the song. Id love some more details about this kind of thing! Thank You!!

Thanks for the reply about audio/video..one more question. Would this theme allow me to put in a flash audio player of some sort in it? I understand it doesnt come with one, but if I had someone who knew what they were doing, is it possible to have one added?

Hello I bought this template, I do like it, but have had one problem with it, the contact page doesn’t work. It doesn’t send anything to my email when I use it. I also have this problem when I installed a shopping cart, it won’t send the customer an email as well. Have any suggestions?
