Hi I purchased your template and really love it. I installed it as my standard order email templates of my wordpress website. However, the Top (and bottom) images are not displayed (they are in my gmail account however), they are completely black. Could you please help me… Thanks!

Hello, we are experiencing issues with the layout on the Gmail app for Samsung phones – specifically in portrait mode – the layout just breaks apart. Landscape seems to be fine. We are sending the newsletters out via Mailchimp – have also sent you an email yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RocketWay

Hi jquinn, were sorry to hear this, we just answered your email! Thanks for your comment.

Hi, this is a presale question. I would like for people on my email list to be able to register for my wordpress site. Is this possible?

RocketWay

Hi mygreeneyez,

its possible that you link to the register form in the newsletter, is this what you mean?

Cheers, RocketWay

Default-user

I’m sorry for not explaining clearly. Is it possible to have a first name field, last name field and email address field in the newsletter? If not I guess I can just have a link to the form.

RocketWay

Ah i understand now :) The functionality of a working form varies from email client to email client. We strongly advice you to link your newsletter form to a real form and just use the newsletter form as a nice call to action so you’re sure its working the right way for all of your subscribers.

It is possible this to integrate on magento? With the code to send the transcional e-mails? Thank you

Default-user

And just a question, if theme builder is not included in package, how can we edit? Thanks

RocketWay

Hi Socialsgest, This is a newsletter and not build to replace the default one that magento has. Regarding your second question: the themebuilder isn’t included but you have TB access, in the download there is a folder called ‘themebuilder’, open this and this link directs you to the themebuilder.

Hi there, great template! I am having trouble with the background images working in Gmail. Everything else is perfect. Thanks Tim

RocketWay

Hi there,

Thank you for purchase. What problems do you have? Gmail ignore css for background images so we can’t position it. This is mentioned is our item descripion.

Let us know or send an email to: support[at]rocketway.net

Cheers!

I’ve purchase this one but where is the them builder link?

RocketWay

Hi Tony,

Thank you the purchase. In the download folder there’s a folder called “Themebuilder” click on this and open the link :)

Cheers, RocketWay

Default-user

thanks

Can we import a html into the themebuilder?

Then we don’t need to re-do it from scratch?

RocketWay

Hi tonystartup,

we’re working on this feature, at the moment this isn’t possible. We advice you to save you templates in a emailservice like MailChimp or CampaignMonitor.

Regards, RocketWay

The top banner image was shift to left in gmail, any way to fix it?

RocketWay

Hi Tony,

Thank you for the purchase. I just forwarded your Email. Gmail ignore CSS for background images. Quick solution to fix it is to upload a bigger background image.

Cheers,

Hey there, great template, love it. Just one strange issue.

In Outlook I get a strange layout problem. All banners I include get reduced to a very small thumbnail sized image that is repeated over and over. It doesn’t appear as one large image. Any ideas?

Default-user

Thanks – I think the issue is resolved. I changed the width of some of the banners, and it displays much better. Not sure what happened before, but it’s working now.

Is there a recommended width you suggest we use for the banner images?

Default-user

I understand the gmail image issue, and that’s OK. However, like some others here I am having Outlook issues. The main issue is my navigation bar does appears out of place, with the links misaligned. It’s a really nice email template, but if things like this break in Outlook I can’t feel good about sending it to clients and customers.

RocketWay

Hi mmeisner,

Optional width for banners are: 1600px width. Sorry to hear you’re having issues with Outlook. Are you able to send us an email to: support[at]rocketway.net with some screenshots and your index file. We love to help you out.

Regards, RocketWay

This template does not work at all on Outlook, everything breaks and is misaligned…

RocketWay

Hi davidbfranks,

what are you trying to say? We’ve got a support open when people need help with certain issues so please contact support if needed: support[at]rocketway.net so we can see whats causing the issue. Outlook needs to be compatible so probably something else is causing this issue. We’re looking forward to your email.

RocketWay

Hi RocketWay,

I must say that what davidbfranks said is true, your layout does NOT work properly in Outlook. For instance the background-repeat is ignored for the banners, certain products are missing at the bottom, the footer is not displayed etc.

And I just took the source file, i.e. your original V1.2 souce code and mailed it.

Can I have an updated markup please !!

Regards H Broecker

RocketWay

Hi jimmy123,

Thank you for the purchase. We just made an update to Gear :) If you use your purchase link of the Themebuilder there is an online update.

The update is:

- Buttons are clean in Outlook
- The navigation isn’t broken anymore
- We deleted the backgrounds for outlook because this occur problems, in their system you’ll see a solid background color of your choice.
- Images and tables aren’t broken anymore

Regards, Sebastian

Hello,

my template ist breaking apart in Gmail on my phone. Any idea how to fix it? Guess it is really important that it works properly on the phone since most people read e-mails on it!

Thanks,

cenco

RocketWay

Hi Cenco,

Thank you for the purchase. We just made an update for Outlook, use your purchase link to the Themebuilder for the online update, however Gmail App for Android strips CSS and seems impossible to make it work.

We found 2 different links on the web about this subject:

Link 1: https://www.campaignmonitor.com/forums/topic/7636/new-gmail-app-supports-media-queries-hooraoh
Link 2: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13604300/responsive-emails-on-gmail-app-android

On all other email clients and devices it’s compatible. (Also Gmail App for iPhone etc)

Cheers, Sebastian RocketWay

Hello. I’m using Gear Template and when viewed in Gmail it displays strange spaces in between the tables. When viewing it in the browser it looks awesome, but in gmail these weird gaps are driving me crazy.

Although I’ve made a few changes to the template by carefully removing the right

tags from the code, I’ve done it by inspecting it meticulously, so I feel comfortable to say I’ve not left any unclosed tags or ugly mistakes behind.

Do you have any clue/solution regarding this issue?

Here’s a screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cRi_lOkhaJE

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

What is the most efficient way to use the PSD template that you provide?

From what I know, using the slice tool is the best way to use your PSD template. Could you please share with me the psd file with the slided images? It would help me save a lot of time. I could build the template in PSD and export for web all the images in one click. Thank you.

RocketWay

Hi pbdionet,

the most efficient way really depends on the usage. Of you need to export a lot of various templates from 1 psd i suggest slicing is the fastest way to get the job done. If you only need to export a few slices, ie. social icons I personally prefer cropping. If you need help please email me: steve[at]rocketway.net

I am not able to delete or drag and drop parts of my template in Mailchimp. I am allowed to hide and edit however. Any idea why I don’t have full template functionality in mailchimp? Please help.

RocketWay

Hi swamyg1,

Thank you for your purchase. We did contact MailChimps developers about this issue and they informed us they made changes to their system with their latest update which disabled the drag&drop feature in the editor. We asked if there would be a certain fix for this but they couldn’t come up with a solution. This means you have to drag&drop all elements in our themebuilder and export it as a MC file as drag&drop has been disabled by MailChimp. We’re planning discuss this again with them this week and try to find another solution. We will let you know if we find a new method so we can update the code. Can you please drop us a mail so we can keep you updated? support[at]rocketway.net

Thanks!
