Fantastic work! I am very impressed by that preview image thing under, that is awesome and really shows how talented you are! Keep it up, I wish you many sales mate ;)

jonathan01

Thanks as always Mike – really appreciate you noticing the hard work put in to this theme (and presentation)

Jonathan

Beautiful theme! Wow!

Where did you get that curved wood background?

jonathan01

It was a free give away on Dribbble.com – but I believe there is a full pack of HD versions at graphicriver.net that includes all kinds of materials – stunning right?

Thanks for the comment with regard to the theme – means a lot for everyone to drop a quick message :)

Jonathan

Very Very Nice I am inspired, if i needed a Church theme would be it

jonathan01

Thank you very much for your kind comments! :)

Hi, where i can get the wood background? greets

jonathan01

We provide the wood background in the XML import. :)

One of, if not the best church theme I’ve seen here.

I’m very interested in purchasing this theme ASAP !

I do have a question about the countdown timer. 1. Can the timer be assigned to any post (like a sermon)? 2. Can it be programed to reset it self after the event (like for weekly Sunday Services)? 3. About the slider, can one use a Nivo type slider or instead of a transparent image can a JPEG be used? 4. Is there a way to sort the order of the slides?

Comment: The slide images load slow, in fact I noticed the entire theme a bit slow.

jonathan01

Hi and thank you for your kind comments.

The countdown timer is actually a plugin we use in a widget area. So the shortcode the plugin provides can be used anywhere. You would have to explore their details to find out the answers you needed there. The url is : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-timer/.

The slider used is flex slider so we can have a clean responsive slider. And the way the content for each slide works is that it’s just the content of the slider post type. You place an image (jpg or png) we display it along with text, shortcodes, buttons, videos, audio files etc etc. You control the content there. You can change the sort order of the slides by editing the publish date of each slide. We sort by most recent first, so you would just have to make sure your publish dates/times are set up / edited accordingly to give you the order you want.

Thanks for the comment about the slowness, doesn’t appear that way on our end at this time though? We will monitor it, but thank you for the heads up.

Not seeing the slider’s navigation displayed (dots, arrows, thumbnails, etc.) Is there not anyway to navigate through the slider?

jonathan01

Hi – we just don’t have it turned on on the live preview – we already have keyboard control on (left / right arrows) plus sliders are all touch swipable for tablets and phones – you can see we have the arrows displayed on the gallery items – just not turned on for the main slider but it’s a simple alteration to a single css class to turn them on – hope that helps!

Jonathan

Hi,

I just installed the theme and i have a doubt… the tumbnails on the home page aren´t like the demo, because in the demo the size is 252×183 but my tumbnails are 150×150

how can i change that size in order to my web site looks like the live demo.

My url´s site is http://wks-amtc-2012.alges.cl/

Thanks!

jonathan01

That’s the standard WordPress install thumbnail size. You need to go to Settings / Media and change the thumbnail size to 283×152 and then save the changes.

Great!, thanks!

I have another cuestion… How can i set the background slider like the live demo: http://mythemepreviews.com/genesischurch/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/slider_bground.jpg

In my case the bg slider is black.

What must i do?

This is my web site http://wks-amtc-2012.alges.cl/
jonathan01

Greetings! You set the background image in the options panel as per the directions – you have a plugin for coming soon so I can’t see your site ;)

However, we provide details in your documentation on where that is set in the admin theme options.

Please could you use the contact form on my profile page for support, as detailed in your documentation, as this is purely a comment area not a support forum – many thanks!

Jonathan

This theme is great and the support is awesome. I had issues because of an event calendar plugin conflict, Jonathan assisted me in fixing the issue. Thanks a million!

jonathan01

You are more than welcome and thank you very much for posting on the comment area to let other users know – that’s really nice of you!

Jonathan

Is there a way to include buttons (arrows) for changing slides in slider?

jonathan01

Hi – you sure can – we just have a display: none; for the home page one – edit the style.css (or place custom css in the provided box in the theme options panel) for:

.myslider .slider ul.flex-direction-nav { display: visible; }

Just tested it for you and everything seems good :)

Jonathan

Great team from what I seen so far! Could i easily (pre-built into your template already perhaps?) this templates cool Vimeo feature with the cartoon movie etc.

jonathan01

Hi and thanks for your interest. I’m not 100% sure I understand you, do you mean you want the slider to have auto play on the video in the slider?

jonathan01

Thanks

Jonathan

As its a church theme, this made me giggle:

Roll Your Own
jonathan01

jonathan01

THX alot… :) This Theme is awesome… :)

jonathan01

Thank you very much for the kind comments! :)

Hi! LOVE the theme, but seem to have done something horribly wrong. When I installed per the directions, I ended up without a slider, without navigation, and without social icons. I’ve gone through the documentation, and still seem unable to fix things. Help?

Thanks!

jonathan01

Hi and first, many thanks for the purchase and kind words.

OK, so a few things to check, did you follow the setup to create your primary and secondary menus, also did you upload slides and set the home page template to the correct one when you created the home page? Also set your reading settings in wordpress to the static homepage and choose your actual page. Finally set your social icons via the instructions for the theme options panel – and don’t forget to download and install the font as directed on page 1 with the big black box that gives you the instructions – it needs those fonts to create the social icons and some other things.

If all else fails please use the contact form on my profile page as directed in the instructions for support rather than this item comment form please – many thanks!

I’m so sorry! I’ll contact you there. It really is a fabulous theme!

Bought the theme. It looks great; you can feel the love that went into it. But the theme management options need improvements. That I have to upload images somewhere and then paste the link into the theme options is SUPER annoying. Why can’t I just upload it in the admin pane?

Also, the media query for the first resize – from 1200-something down to the next smaller size – comes too late. I’ll make my window smaller and it wont come until I see side scrolling.

I’ll let you know if I find any more annoyances; I just installed the theme.

jonathan01

Hi – the dragging the window pane will only happen as fast as your computer. The media queries don’t always look fantastic when scrolling, but are meant for the users device window.

Thank you for the feedback on the upload, you are actually the first person who has ever mentioned this, the feedback we have received thus far seems to prefer having 1 place to upload all media (media library) rather than several different places for different things.

Thank you for your purchase and good luck with the site.

Default-user

I cant imagine that any remotely tech literate person would want to go to the media library, upload an image there, copy the link from there, then go back to the admin panel, paste the link, and do that for like 8 different images. It’s a cumbersome workaround.

It would make more sense to either 1) upload all files to the media library, and then when you are in the admin panel, open up a file selection dialogue as soon as you click into the input field, or 2) have an upload button next to the entry field that lets you upload a file, which then gets placed in the media library, or 3) upload all files to the media library, and then when you are in the admin panel, have a button that opens up the media library with the relevant images and lets you select one.

I think number 2 makes the most sense

jonathan01

Thanks for your feedback :)

Jonathan

None of the icons work. Instead of icons, I see curly braces and letters

Edit: Ah I see, it’s probably not embedding that “ModernPictograms” font properly. Any idea why?

Edit 2: fixed it by downloading the @fontface package from fontsquirrel & placing it in the CSS folder

Edit 3: Had to do the same for socialico, and generate the font-face package myself.

jonathan01

Hi – on page 4 of your documentation we explain why we can’t package the fonts with the the theme and provide a link and instructions on how to download and re-upload the fonts in the correct directory so that the icons will appear correctly.

Default-user

Yeah, I guess I should have read the documentation, but I’m a lazy consumer with a low attention span that wants things to work out of the box

Added a new menu for the primary navigation but it’s still showing the old one! Secondary navigation updated with the new menu

jonathan01

Hi – this is a comment area not support – please follow the directions given for support by using the contact form on my profile page. Obviously you didn’t do something quite right, so I would love to assist you get things right. Please contact and pass along your information for wordpress login so I can see what you did – many thanks

Jonathan

jonathan01

Seems you had 2 menus called the same – WordPress doesn’t allow this – you emailed me to let me know you worked it out which is excellent news.

Jonathan

I also wish I could create my own page templates. Buy the “angular” theme from kriesi to see what I mean.

And the slider needs to have some way to cycle through the elements in the slider, and a feedback as to which element I am on right now and how many there are overall

jonathan01

We already have that ability for control (as seen in earlier comments) – we simply have a hidden on the class which I can assist you with if you use the proper method for support. We have built in swipe support for touch devices and also keyboard control via directional keys – the arrows are possible also as I mentioned with a single alteration to the css class :)

Jonathan

Default-user

Sent you an email. forgot to ask about the slider class. Sorry for spamming your comments section

jonathan01

Replied with 2 ways of turning on navigational arrows (editing style.css or adding in to the custom css box provided in the theme options) plus a screen shot to show current settings, and code required so you can easily copy/paste.

Many thanks

Jonathan

Good afternoon I recently purchased this template for a client. Although this template was difficult to get installed it was worth the effort. The question I have is which map plug in did you use for the contact page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely yours Daniel

jonathan01

Hi Daniel and thank you for your purchase. We don’t use a plugin for the map. You just need to get the iframe from google and then paste that map into the Contact Map Widget Area.

If you need any screen shot supplying to show you exactly what we mean, please use the form on my contact page to contact me and I can send the screen shots via email.

Thanks

Hi Jonathan If you could please email me the screen shots you had mentioned. I greatly appreciate it. Daniel

jonathan01

Hi – for support (and so we can actually email you) you will need to follow the direction supplied in the documentation for support as this is a comment area. Please use the profile page contact form here:

Thank you.

Jonathan

For some reason, the audio button does not work on the sermons posts. If I include the [audio mp3=] code in the post, THAT works, but when I include the URL in the ‘Audio File URL ’ box, I click the ‘Play Audio’ button, and it seems like it doing something but the player never appears. I have disabled any and all plugins that DON ’T come with your theme. Any thoughts? By the way, the browser does not seem to matter either…

jonathan01

Hi and thanks for your purchase. Could you please contact me via the form on my profile page and send me your WordPress login information please?

Thanks

Thanks for the theme. I do have one issue I hope you can help me with. I am using the MediaElement plugin suggested for embedding video, and I am getting two videos showing up on one page. It is the exact same video in a flash player. Do you know why this is? I disabled auto embed links in the media settings and still am having an issue.

Thank you!

jonathan01

Hi and thanks for the purchase, I appreciate it greatly!

As this issue has never been reported it seems unique to your situation therefore we would require your WordPress login details please so I can make sure that you didn’t accidentally add to the post twice somehow, as the code on the page seems to show something like this from what I can see.

For support we ask buyers to use the contact form on my profile page, direct communication where we can ask private information is the best way we have found to be able to offer unparalleled support.
