Contact Envato Support

Its OK I figured it out!
Jonathon, I now have a more serious issue, do you have a support system where I can direct the request?
Support is supplied via the contact form on my profile page as detailed in your documentation. If you send your details someone can get with you tomorrow no doubt and help you out – many thanks
PS – would the serious issue be due to changing / customizing – if so we would ask you to revert back to the files supplied as there are know known issues by any buyers at this point – many thanks
Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan, i’ll send you a message via the site now.
Hi Jonathan1,
I love this theme, but my ‘church does not upload’ ;0 it always get stuck somewhere. No upload whatsoever. I have tried to upload other purchased child themes and it worked, what do you think is going wrong here?
Alexa
Hi and thanks for the purchase – it sounds like you may be trying to upload the entire folder you received – first unzip and then try following the included instructions on how to setup.
Jonathan
Considering buying this template. The responsiveness looks bad from approximately 1000px to 1200px wide. Is this something that has been resolved in newer versions?
Hi – 1200px is default width of the theme as detailed in the description – however 1000px wide is just fine here in all tested browsers – no issues reported from any other buyers or users.
Maybe remove the top banner if that is causing you issues.
Many thanks
Jonathan
Yup, 1000px looks perfect. It breaks at 1026px (give or take a couple of pixels).
Here is a screenshot on Firefox (mac): https://www.box.com/s/7o1peu3k1vmd0ma12inw
Here is a screenshot on Chrome (mac): https://www.box.com/s/dp6sk9ftojkkywo4tfmv
These screenshots are at approximately 1050px.
Yeah as I said it’s 1200px wide by default – you don’t hit a responsive until 980px – then iPad x2 then iphone x2 – we don’t do anything in between as it’s not fluid it’s responsive via media queries.
Many thanks
Jonathan
Jonathan,
I agree, and that’s cool that it’s not fluid. I just think that if my browser is set to 1050px then it should show the 1000px version of the website, not the 1200px version of the website. I can fix it once I buy the template, but I’d rather not have to. Thanks for the great theme!
Dumb question, I think… but I don’t want to assume… I can change the background image on the slider from a faux wood backdrop to something else, right?
oh absolutely – anything you want via the theme options panel – nice and easy.
Jonathan
Sweet! Thanks!
Jonathan, can I change the word Sermon to something else in the site setup?
Sure thing – it’s probably easier to show you where in a screen shot which I can only send via email. Would you mind contacting me with this question via the form on my profile page?
Thank you
I purchased this theme and intend on making it into an eCommerce store. Does this theme work with WP-ecommerce or woo commerce?
HI and thanks for the purchase, there should be no reason why it shouldn’t – you’ll have to create all your styles etc to override and customize your plugins pages etc to fit in with everything, but it’s coded to best practices for WordPress so as long as the plugin is also then should be ok but I certainly can’t guarantee anything as they are not created by myself or tested.
Thanks
Jonathan
hello goodnight I ll buy it but I have some problem about my server it is SMTP … I have to use smpt security for email form. how can I config theme mail form thank you
Contact your host re your issue – SUPPORT IS NOT SUPPLIED TO PEOPLE WHO DON ’T PURCHASE – thanks!
Jonathan
ok ok :)) I ll buy it
I have bought it
can you help me now
you need to ask your host about your issues sorry (that’s a server setup issue that is nothing to do with the theme) – the contact form uses contact form 7 plugin which has a support forum – http://contactform7.com/support/
Jonathan
I bought this theme and want to publicly applaud Jonathan and his “support team.” Together, they answered promptly and patiently to make sure that my website was presented perfectly. Thank you!

Jonathan

Hi and thank you for your purchase.
To change these you would need to edit the custom post type variables in the functions.php.
If you need screen shots on where to do this, please use the form on my profile page and I can get someone to email them to you.
Thanks
thank you so much
Hi Jonathan, I canno’t seem to make the socialico font work for the social icons. I’ve read through the documentation but there is actually no mention of where on the wordpress folder the font socialico.ttf needs to be filed. Could you help with this please? Thanks for this excellent theme. Very helpfull for our church. Regards Will
Hi and thanks for the purchase – it’s actually in the documentation, we provide a link to the downloadable zip file and supply instructions on where to place this in your theme (css folder), please take a look at page #4 the introduction section.
Let me know if that helps please – thank you.
Jonathan
Many thanks, found it. I was looking in the wrong page. Regards
One more question… It seems that when I create events, these do not get listed (in the event page and in the home page) according to the date of the event, but according to the date you create the actual event in wordpress… Is there a way of fixing this?
You are exactly correct as they are aWordPress Post WordPress will only order via date published I’m afraid. It’s just part of the core of WordPress – I suggest just simply editing the post and just altering the publish date or time to order how you wish.
Jonathan
hello when I create a page, I cant see top menu but I can see footer menu… can you help me?
Hi – sounds like you maybe haven’t actually set it up in your WordPress menus setting – please see the instructions for details.
Also, for support we ask buyers to use the contact form on my profile page, direct communication where we can ask private information is the best way we have found to be able to offer unparalleled support.
Here is a link to the contact form (it’s on the right of the page as long as you are logged in):

Hi,
Is it possible to have navigation that allows the user to scroll through sliders? I see that the user can stop a slider, but is it possible to go back to a previous slider to move forward to the next? Most sliders accomplish this with arrows to the left or right of the slider/image.
Ron
Hi – we just don’t have it turned on in the live preview for the home page slider – we already have keyboard control on (left / right arrows) plus sliders are all touch swipable for tablets and phones – you can see we have the arrows displayed on the gallery items – just not turned on for the main slider but it’s a simple alteration to a single css class to turn them on, simply edit the style.css (or place custom css in the provided box in the theme options panel) for:
.myslider .slider ul.flex-direction-nav { display: visible; }Hope that helps!
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan,
I added the code to the custom css, but it didn’t display. It it because I am using a black background?
http://108.167.155.59/~pledgeto/Ron
Hi – no it’s because all you put in the custom css is an empty div
Either have a value of display: visible; in your class in the custom css or simply edit the style.css and remove that entire line I gave you – line #2373 remove that entire class (or change the value to visible)
Jonathan
hello Accordions & Toggles’ shortcode dont work. what should I do? thank you
Not sure what you mean by “don’t work” they work just fine if you have them correctly formatted – did you import the xml – did you setup the plugin.
Please use the contact form on my profile page for support so we can better assist you – please provide your WordPress login url and credentials – I’m sure you either have something not formatted correctly or not activated as all it is is a plugin not actually part of the theme and no issues are reported by our users or the plugins.
Thanks
Jonathan
How do I center a button?
You can use basic html formatting probably -
<div align="center"> button code </div>not sure as I haven’t tested as buttons follow the format of your paragraph normally.
Jonathan
Just getting going on the theme. I did a pretty heavy amount of side by side comparison with a few others and chose this one for its various design and functionality strengths. So, off the bat, i’m a fan.
That said, I wanted to offer two pieces of constructive feedback based on my first hour with the theme:
a) the installation process had a lot of moving parts, including editing a .httaccess file. I’m not exactly a lifetime pro at WP, but not a newbie either. This theme required – by far – the most manual setup of any theme I’ve used so far. Instructions for that .httaccess file were not as clear as I’d like, either. I have no idea how much automation can be built into theme installation… normally I just upload a .zip file. This was not nearly so simple.
b) the UI on the date setup for “events” is a little silly: “enter three letter abbreviation for the month” in a line that stretches all the way across the screen. Same with DD for two-character day of month. I’d expect to see a standard calendar element here where I can click on the chosen date. OR, at the very least, some drop down menus. I know my slightly technophobic client is going to balk at this, a headache I could really live without.
b.1) WISHLIST ITEM : I knew from the preview this wasn’t going to be available, but record my vote in for a toggle calendar view/list view for events, as seen in several similar themes. That’s a great feature that I am sorry not to have access too in this theme. Would be even better if it could hook into a Google Calendar which can so easily be subscribed-to by parishoners. Would be even better++ if the theme auto-generated icons/links to add event to Outlook, Google Calendar, Hotmail Calendar, and Yahoo Calendar, EventBrite style.
Firstly – thank you very much for your purchase and we’re glad you are a fan of the theme.
As for the other comments, I’ll see if I can break these down in the same format.
a) we only provide the htaccess file as a precaution for anyone who hasn’t upgraded to the newer WordPress version (as the latest WP will create the htaccess file for you) to create the pretty and SEO friendly URL ’s.
b) I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but with all due respect, we create our themes for the mass, not a custom solution. To keep the cost of production down, but make it the most user friendly experience we can, this is the way we have created the custom post type of events. You certainly don’t have to use this, you could have a custom solution created, or download one of the many free plugins that may be more to your liking (or your client’s liking).
b.1) Again – it sounds like more of what you are looking for is a custom solution, we will certainly take into consideration any and all wish items we receive for themes, but we have to weigh the cost effectiveness of each item as well as the demand for the item and then compare to see if there is a free or even premium plugin out there and this is how we make our decisions on what should be updates to our themes or not.
Thanks again for your purchase and good luck with your project!
Yeah, I totally understand the need to meet a wide range of needs… I’m just saying that the current method of entering a date seems a bit archaic compared to other systems out there (and even compared to some of the other slick features of this theme)
