Gentle Responsive Portfolio WP Theme Retina Ready

I’m also interested in purchasing this theme, but noticed some issues when viewing from an iphone.

- Related Posts links below the main content are greatly cutoff (both portrait and landscape mode)
- Tweet content is also cut off.
- No navigation for Recent Portfolio items on homepage (no < and > nav buttons which appear when viewing web browser), so there’s no easy way to explore the portfolio

I just bought this theme – very excited about it. I am new to wordpress in general, and thus especially to shortcodes. Can you give a better explanation of how to use the “Layer Slider” and “Nivo Slider” shortcodes? And how you got them on your home page in the preview for this theme? Thanks!

The ticket system is really unhelpful – you hardly get any support at all – a big let down for me, I really like this theme.

Its not the speed in which you respond – given that you must have many questions the speed is not too bad – but rather it’s the quality of response. I send a question and I receive a vague response to which I have to send another question and then wait for a day or so for another vague response. Hope that clarifies my concerns,

But I wonder, before buying the theme, if there any chance to see the “title” of the image instead of the “eye” (mouseover) in the portfolio. Like in Agera Responsive Theme. Is there any shortcode or simply add some code to be theme. Thanks!

I have recently created a new Portfolio page and I noticed that the h3.gentle-home-heading has not changed. The new portfolio page is “PRESS & GALLERY ” but it still reads “MEDIA”. I have updated all options in the MASSIVE PANEL , still no luck. Please help.

Great theme, I’m very excited to put it to use! But I’m having trouble installing it, can you please help? When I’m in the WP Admin pane and go to Appearance/Themes/Install Themes/Upload/Browse for the zipped theme folder on my desktop and “install” it says sending request at the bottom and then it times out and says “Are you sure you want to do this? Try Again.”

I’ve tried installing in both IE and Firefox as well as 2 different machines.

What do I do? Thanks!

Theme is not compatible with Internet Explorer. Please check out your own LivePreview (http://mpcreation.pl/themeforest/gentle/) – menu, slider, position of various content-items, footer – many, many issues. Can you please quickly provide an update wich will solve all of these problems?

In all other medias the theme looks great and behaves fine. Like this.

My only questions though, I do not know for what reason, but when i entered my domain name it defaulted the my blog page. it this a normal thing?

Say if I want to not make my blog page as the defaulted page, is there a way to do it?

How easy would it be to set up two different blogs? I would like a photography category full width and a true blog for reviews, etc to be a normal two column.
