Glide Responsive Tumblr Theme

Hello Christine – I’ve downloaded the update but the space between paragraphs thing still isn’t happening. Otherwise, great and like the white clean background option even better than previous texture.

Actually, not only are the share buttons not showing up, neither is the Disqus comment section, and the recent posts widget is not populating any links.

Share This and Disqus are working now. However, the Recent Post widget still isn’t populating and I noticed that the images in a photoset I posted didn’t show up.

Any luck figuring out the photoset issue?

Not sure if you’re aware of it or not, but there are two styling issues with this theme…

1. The Disqus tool bar that drops down once you start typing a comment is out of sorts. The term “Share on” is out of line with the Facebook and Twitter icons. The container holding that line is also out of alignment with the “Post as…” button.

2. ShareThis has once again changed its code. It knows when one is logged into Facebook and Twitter. When hitting either of those share buttons, a small drop down box appears. However, on the Glide theme, the green share button that’s supposed to be in that dropdown box is way over in the right margin of the page…

is there any chance of getting a drop down menu for the navigation bar? would be really helpful for my project, thanks

How do I add more tabs to navigation bar ?

I have a couple questions for you. First is it possible to change the font size of my title? How about the color of of the home, page button etc? They are the only wording I can’t get to change color. In the drop down menu it isn’t lining up on the page menu….my titles of other pages are much longer than the words. The tags list can it be turned off instead of showing. I have far to many tags to be listed….yikes! Since I am making a wish list how about a follow me button for stumblr. Sorry for going on so long but I am really loving your theme!

I have a question. You’ve created small icons for the type of post (ex. text, photo, quote, etc). Can you create a blank icon? Basically, it would just be a solid circle without the post type icon on it.

I’ve actually just removed the post_type before you posted the blank sprite, but thanks anyways. I do however have another request. In the recent posts, I would like to completely remove the post_type sprite, however I do not have access to the javascript file that you upload so I cannot edit the file. Can we work around this?

I purchased this theme earlier today. I am having no luck with the DisQus comments nor the Share buttons – neither will appear on my test posts. I have set my shortname and have reinstalled the theme several times, similar to what was done by another customer.

Please assist. Thank you.

Just a heads up – my shortname seems to be working fine in any of the free tumblr provided themes.

Actually I figured it out, because the theme worked fine on my other blog. So apparently the “Share This” and the DisQus functionality only shows up after 2+ posts have been made. I was only testing with a single text post for all functionality. Everything is working fine after adding a second test post.

I wonder why that is?

Anyways thanks for putting together this theme, should suit my needs well!

Nice theme, I really like it. I was wondering, is there a way to display the title of the post in between the <title> tags, when you’re looking at a single post, instead of the name of the blog. This would be better for SEO .
