Hi Carlo, I am having issues with the provided sql db during the install process. I’ve tried several different ways to install the demo database and all seem to fail in the same place. Any input you can give me as soon as you get this message would be most helpful since I’m dead in the water.

i have installed properly the theme on Drupal 7. First, thanks for the great job. However, i have detected a mistake on Contact page. Chrome is raising on Error G_NORMAL_MAP is not defined.
Are you able to help on this one ? I check in the forum…. but nothing clear. Is that due to the fact that module Location map is stil under Dev to manage Google Map v3.

Thanks for your purchasing. regarding to the problem with Contact page you need to select a map type for that page, just try navigating to admin/config/locationmap and change the ‘MAP TYPE ’ to something other than ‘the default view’ option. after that save the changes. this issue has been already reported by one of buyers but since it was not on the forum you coudn’t find it there, so it would be better to use support forum to avoid duplicates requests

I bought this theme, but i find it full of bugs, display is messed up, things don’t work correctly, it’s painfully slow. Everytime I refresh the screen I see something different and rarely correct. Support is not good either, I had to email many times to get a response at all. I bought several themes from morethanthemes.com and never had any problems, plus their support is fast if you do need it.
Also, it’s pretty much impossible to use this theme on a pre-existing site. Avoid this and save yourself a lot of time.
as i said before, there is no bug in Glossy you need to move to a new modern hosting service that supports drupal.

You said it before? When? I’m running on apache 2.2.21/php5.3.10 and sql 5, how much more modern does it need to be?
I have another 20 drupal sites and they work fine. Like I said before, your support is not good and the theme is very buggy and slow.

When did you say it was a hosting problem? You said: ‘like I said…” but you never mentioned hosting before, so I guess you are confusing me with someone else. You NEVER mentioned this is a hosting issue.
What is wrong with the permissions? It’s all set to world read-only and the font demo works fine: http://eternity2.galweb.com/sites/all/themes/glossy/fonts/sansation/demo.html
So let’s see. Instead of offering any help you blame me! First it was my hosting, then it was file permissions, you were wrong on both. Any more ideas?

Great theme and support
This theme is one of, if not the best themes for Drupal 7 at the minute. As I am relatively new to Drupal I tried a few themes which weren’t great. I had some small issues getting Glossy to work but it is now up and running due to the support Carlo has given me on this theme. I have to say it is the best support I have came across from any author on themeforest. Cheersthanks, i love helping

Hi We bought a license few days ago and started installation of glossy_modern_drupal_theme_demo under Ubuntu. We had same problems described and solved in following Issue. The installation seemed to end up fine. Now when visiting the page we can’t find the login section for the admin in order to manage the site (as described in the documentation). At least the links under e.g. ‘Contact get in Touch’ lead to 404 errors. Do you have any suggestion what went or what we do wrong? Thanks for your feedback.

Hi, the appearence of the theme is not as expected: The font is incorrect. Some icons and buttons are not displayed The transparent overlay on the slideshow gallery is not working.

I just purchased this them and now struggling … Even when I setup a fresh theme from scratch when I go to appearance/settings/glossy it show me a blank page. I could not find a solution kindly advice.

I tried to install demo version to see if it works the below error: General error: 2006 MySQL I use MAMP on Mac. I set my Max allowed pocket and wait timeout as you have already mentioned in your forum. didn’t work. I spent the whole day to fix and no chance …. even I tried to install manually the DATA BASE . :((

HI Carlo, i´m unable to post a new thread on the theme´s support forum, quite frankly i´m not a master experience user and have read a lot of the available topics of support. I managed to get to the last step of installation when you select the snapshot, an error ocurrs and now my site has this look : http://kawawuki.com/musik/glossy/
I changed the permissions on all the files to 777. I don´t know how to increase my servers memory and i´m unaware of the next step. The installation throws this error:
SQLSTATE [42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1071 Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes
I´d appreciate if you pointed me with next steps

I did not hear anything from you since Sat, 05/19/2012 – 20:18 at http://support.dropletz.com/content/main-menu-doesnt-support-multilingual. Since you did not respond on this issue therefore I would assume your main menu doesn’t support multi-lingual. Can that be fixed?
Been having some troubles getting the install to work.

Hi carlo. I have this problem in the installation: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted …............. apparently I have exhausted my 64MB HostPapa hosting and I don’t have access to php.ini
