Okay, been delving into this great theme since I bought it – it really looks great. I have a few questions, however, and I hope you can help:
1.) Can I put social icons in the top navigation area?
2.) What is the ideal logo size?
3.) Can I make it so that the rollover effect still happens on portfolio items but the text links to nothing??
4.) How can I modify the milliseconds for the slider?

1 – You could with some small tweaks to the code, yes. 2 – The logo can be any-size you want, as the theme is setup to resize it proportionally anyway. But if you wanted to keep a sharper image I would say go with something around 100-150px wide. 3 – You could yes by removing the link tags from around the heading in your template files – 4 – You will find the settings for Flexslider in custom.js in the /assets/js folder.

The translation files are included ready for you to translate into the language of your choosing.
You can embed SoundCloud audio players in a page.

Thanx for your answer. I bought it, but i can’t change language even if i use poedit to translate the default.po. Everything is english which is not the case with other basic themes (ugly themes ;-)). Could you please tell me what i’ve done wrong ? Is there another way to translate it ? I’m on WP 3.5.1, french version, with cache disabled for the tests. Furthermore, i have a lot of internal error (500) when i try to check a portfolio (no php error, just that 500 error). There too, could you please help ? Sorry for that. And thanx again.

The theme looks great! I’m very interested in purchasing, but I have a couple of questions first. I’m wondering if the theme comes with PSD’s of the images on each page… I understand that the photos themselves don’t come with the theme, but I like the vintage overlay effect on the images, and I want to keep that uniform if I purchase. Plus, it helps to have PSD’s to create your graphics and images the same size to fit that particular area.
Also, on the portfolio page, I like the mouseover effect, and I’m wondering how the images that show are controlled. I want to use it as a client page to display our past and present clients. Is it simply controlled by choosing a category, or are there pre-determined options that you can choose according to the work that you did for that client?

I ended up just purchasing your theme. I just jumped in, and I notice that there are placeholders, and not .psd’s, however, the .png’s included do not import with the provided .xml file. Would like to get everything imported including images. Can you please assist? Thank you!

Beautiful theme! Is there any change you’ll add a video to the main slider? That would sell it for me.
I noticed some speed issues on some browsers. The latest firefox on mac seems to have issues with the site. It’s a bit slow to load and choppy scrolling around. Safari seems a bit better, but still has some delays. Not sure if this is from the images or something with the effects.

At this current time the theme is slider is just setup for images. There is a roundabout way you can add video, and I may possibly implement in a future release.
Have tested on the latest version of FF on Mac, and it seems all good to me? Safari is the same, seems fine. The images that are used on the preview site are quite chunky .png files so this may be the case on certain machines. Obviously if you were purchasing the theme, I would always recommend that your images are as optimised as they can be.

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. I have a quick question. On the portfolio page, onMouse over on each page displays an image according to each project type chosen from within the portfolio creation page. I see the option to create additional project types, however, I do not see an option to add an icon.

You add an icon on a ‘per portfolio item’ basis. So when you add a new project you will see the option to add a custom icon.

Hi guys… Thanx for the beautiful theme, I bought it today and I love the design! My only problem is that every time I try to upload the golden.zip file it tells me that it cannot upload???
Please help me, I also tried uploading it through cpanel, but then when I activate the theme it says that the theme is broken because the stylesheet is missing??

Hi Ginger, I had the same problem with the zip file, could be a php upload size limit, so I uploaded it through FTP then I had no problem activating it but I can’t see any custom font. I’ve just opened a support ticket.

Sometimes with the Theme Options panel, when you first activate the theme, you need to do a ‘save’ in the Theme Options, to see the styling.

Hello, Just purchased your theme.. Was very impressed with the demo..
However, I have a bit of a large problem.. I cannot for the life of me get the demo content to work correctly. I am willing to pay you a modest amount to help me fix this. I have followed all of your included instructions to the “T”, multiple times, reinstalled the theme, installed it with both ftp and the wordpress installer and still nothing. Also the theme options controls are not working at all. Anything I change in the theme options controls does nothing. I am willing to hop on skype and give you access to the site, like I said I would even pay you (within reason) – just want to get this fixed. All I want is the demo content working correctly and the theme options controls working, thats it. Thanks

Have you had chance to look through the documentation supplied with the theme? This explains fully how to setup the Google Map.
The Icon Shortcodes are basically any of the Icons from the ‘Font Awesome’ set. Basically a lot of icons

Thank you for your reply, I did have a change to look through the documentation and I was able to solve the maps issue i was having however I was not about to find the short code icon options for Services.
I found the folder Font Awesome but I still can’t find the icon set or my options. Can you help me find that?
As for my twitter account I did input all of the relevant data and it still doesnt work, what do i do about that?

Glad you got the Maps working.
To use the Icon shortcodes, whenever you add a new Service item you will see a field on the page labelled ‘Service Icon’. It has instructions there on how to add the icon shortcode, along with a link (which will open up a new window) showing you all the available shortcodes you can use.
