Yeah, great theme,

somewhat puzzled though, there’s a page template called Homepage Alternative. Shouldn’t there be a Homepage Standard template in that case or what should I use to make it look lite the demosite (project grid).

Also, it is the widget Recent Blog Posts Homepage (default) supposed to show any thumbs? Only the latest has a thumb and it looks like it to small. The ‘style2’ does show thumbs.

Hello fredde312,

First of all thanks for the purchase. By the way the homepage is widgetized. The difference between the default Homepage and Homepage Alternative is the slider and featured works.

Yes the Recent Blog Posts Homepage (default) widget has a thumbnail. Also the style2. On style2, if you add more post it will automatically add a sliding button.

Concerning the homepage, sorry, how to get it like your demo (project grid), doesn’t say in the documentation, are you suggesting there should be a page template called default Homepage? I used all of the homepage widgets and the project grid won’t show.

Hello,

Regarding the homepage, if you want I’ll do the setup for you. I’ll add a screencast on how to setup the homepage soon.

By default I turn off the admin bar so it looks cleaner to me. But if you want to have an admin bar, open the functions.php file and find this code

//disable admin bar for site
add_filter( 'show_admin_bar', '__return_false' );

Then replace the code above to this.

add_filter( 'show_admin_bar', '__return_true' , 1000 );

The final thing I’d need your help with is utilizing the main content area of a portfolio post. I’d like to be able to display content in the main area under the images in the following fashion:

IMAGE /SLIDESHOW
TEXT
IMAGE or VIDEO
TEXT

I’ve been able to figure out that I can add an image in between the text via the images menu and “insert to post” there. That works. Whenever I enter an iframe embed code though, all other images disappear and I only see a (very big) video instead.

This is a pretty nice looking them man! Im almost sold.

1. Is it easy to replace the dotted overstate on the portfolio and homepage to an image? For example a my logo knocked out of white with a transparency.

2. Can you treat the portfolio the same way as the masonry type homepage option? Thats a pretty rad stack.

1.Which page template did you use for the homepage in the demo (the non-slider homepage)? 2. How did you create the portfolio grid on the demo homepage? 3. Is there an easy way to disable page headings?

Hello,

1. I used the default template ( index.php file ).

2. In the portfolio just check the box where it says “Featured” and this will create a portfolio grid.

3. You can disable page headings by going to style.css search this code:

.page-title .title-inner{width:80%}

and replace to this code

.page-title .title-inner{width:80%; display:none!important; }
