It happens to me also what filonzi commented: When I trying to setup the main menu, when I add a sub menu, I can’t reach the sub menu, it just disappear.

It is because there is a space between the menu and the submenu: how to remove this space?

Also what hjs2k9 commented: 1. The tagline on the blog is not aligned in the centre, but it’s on the left although I added text-align: center. It seems that there is a right sidebar which causes the tagline to be on the left. How can I change that?

There’s no way to put it on the center!.

And finally, I cannot chose Arial as my preferred tipography, just as is done on the example webpage. I had to add my custom css, is it right? Despite of this I see that the tag has a different appearance than the one of the example.

Ok! I solved 2 problems: 1. If you cannot reach the submenu 2. If the submenu appears separated from the main button 3. If you can’t find how to put subtext under the main elements of the menú

Go to Appearance – > Menus , click at the top-right corner over “Screen Options” and choose: “Show advanced menu properties” – >Description

Then on the menus elements, open one and you will see the description box. Fill it with text. Save the menú and reload your page.

:)

By the way, It’s mandatory to have description on all of the menus items when you have one menu with submenus.

I couldn’t solve the other problems of my post.

Having trouble. Page set as portfolio template doesn’t display thumbs/links to portfolio items. paramountcustompainting.com/portfolio

I can’t for the life of me figure out why. Also, the portfolio categories listed are malfunctioning. They don’t take you anywhere!

Help!

Thanks.

Please, help us get the Welcome Tag Line centered. While it works at the demo version on ThemeForest, on the actual downloaded files the Welcome tag line gets centered only on the left side of the container. Thank you! markus

Hi Andrew, I too was having problems getting a portfolio to display. I found in portfolio.php the following:

if ( $title == “2 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “2 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “3 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “3 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “4 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “4 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “6 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “6 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “2 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=4&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “4 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=8&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “6 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=12&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “3 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=6&paged=’ . $paged );

To my mind your portfolio page has to be called one of the titles hard coded above (maybe this is wrong…) before it will actually display your portfolio items.

My portfolio page is called “Showcase” to I modified the code to read:

if ( $title == “2 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “2 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “3 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “3 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “4 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “4 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “Showcase”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “4 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “6 Columns Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “6 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “2 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=4&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “4 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=8&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “Showcase”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=164&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “6 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=12&paged=’ . $paged ); if ( $title == “3 Columns Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=6&paged=’ . $paged );

This makes my portfolio page 4 columns wide ($gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “4 Columns Portfolio”;) and displays up to 48 individual portfolio items at a time (164/4).

Works for me so give it a try by adding (assuming your page is called “Portfolio”):

if ( $title == “Portfolio”) $gcdata[‘sl_portfolio_style’] = “4 Columns Portfolio”; if ( $title == “Portfolio”) query_posts( ‘&post_type=portfolio-type&posts_per_page=164&paged=’ . $paged );

Change the columns style to 2, 3, 4, or 6 and change the number 164 to suit the number of columns/items you want. If you update the theme you would need to add the code again to portfolio.php.

Hope that helps. George K.

The word wrapping makes the above a bit muddled to read. Have a look in the actual php file where it is easier to read!

My site under construction: www.pikodesign.com/piko where you can see the “Showcase” page.

Hi fingerprinz. RE: centered tag line.

In theme options, wrap the tag line with the following div:

div style=’text-align:center;’

(Had to remove the < and > to get it to display in this post – remember to close the div as well)

Hi Andrew, RE: Portfolio items (164/4) – its late. That does not mean 48 portfolio items displayed….think it is 41 rows of 4?? GK

Hi, I get error when working with the “Theme Options” and try to save the changes?

Hi OrangeIdea,

I bought a lot of Themes and this one is the worst so far. Design is very nice. But Coding is not completed. It´s a bad unfinished copy of your Builder theme. Also there are a lot of questions – You completely failed to answer the questions. Even in your support forum you are not willing to answer.

I advise just to buy the theme, when the buyer has good html/css/php knowledge. There are a lot of themes at themeforest which work out of the box, are well documented and have great support.

Regards, P.
