I’m looking to buy. But I can not resolve an issue with the comments of BuddyPress. Comments do not reload dynamically and need to refresh the page to see the answers online. It happens in your theme?
You’re talking about in BuddyPress when you post new activity and things like that, right? If so, it works find in my demo – where did you see it not working?
No. I meant to comment on posts groups, responses to comments, they generate a chat, a debate. But when two people are commenting and answering a posts, updates depend on the update page to appear, it is not dynamic. Sorry for my bad English.
Isn’t that the way BuddyPress works? It adds your comment without you having to reload the page, but I’m not sure that it actually is able to dynamically update/refresh from external comments. Is BuddyPress supposed to work differently from that? Thanks for any info you might have on this!

Can you tell me more about ad support? I see the ad space in the header. Are there other areas, like widgets, for ads on the homepage for instance?

Hi Sharon,
One of the great things about this theme is you have the ability to create unlimited custom sidebars for any page or section of the site. So, you can insert ads into your sidebars and control exactly which pages they show up on. So to answer your question, the ad slots in this theme are that header space you see, and then any widget panel you want. The widget panels exist in the sidebar, footer, and also you can use a shortcode to show widgets directly in any of your page content. Let me know if I can be more specific.

Currently I’m running swagger theme but we need to install forum (bbpress/simple:Press) – and still investigating the choise.
And I have two questions: 1) will I’ll be able to seamlessly switch our swagger themed site to Made or GrandMag theme? 2) Will these themes support simple:press as well as bbPress?
you can upgrade to made fairly easily since its the same framework and I have even written an FAQ on how to upgrade, however grand is not on the same framework so it would take more work to switch. I haven’t tested simple press but you should search the made forum and see if anyone else has used it and/or post a question asking if anyone else has used it.

I would LOVE to buy this theme, but I badly want a theme that takes the overall review stars and converts them to structured data for the stars to show in Google search results!

I bought this theme a while back and just finally started using it on a project. Two annoying problems I’m running in to is that 1. The images don’t seem to load. I get the swirl instead. 2. For some reason none of the articles I’ve written appear on the blog. See it here:

Not sure why this is happening. I was able to replicate this in Firefox. It works fine for me in Chrome – have you tested with Chrome on Mac? If so, did the images work on your end?
Don’t have Chrome installed on my computer.
Will install soon and check on Chrome.

I noticed there was a thread previously that discussed the problems with displaying front page slider using IE. I am having the same problem. I believe it was resolved by making the images bigger and having them reduced. My question, can anyone tell me what the correct size for slider images is or how this problem was resolved?

Purchsed this theme yesterday.
FOR THE AUTHOR: Just something I noticed: the css needs alot of tidying up. There’s alot of unnecessary empty space, empty css rules through out, inconsistent formatting and some properties have no ending semi-colon. This isn’t a problem as long as no one puts in a property after said property without noticing the missing semi-colon. In such a case it’ll break if not addressed. It’s fine to do this in css you’re working on alone but in a theme for the general public novices with css may not notice.
Anyways, I plan on doing a clean up of this and submitting it to the theme author for review and possibly they’ll integrate it in the next update. The css as it is will causes poor performance so it should be addressed.
Otherwise it’s a great theme. Really does cover evertthing!

As for the images, what browser are you using to view the demo?
I’ve got it working now. It was a caching issue. I should know by now to turn off browser caching when setting up a theme. That CSS is done. How should I send it to you?

Yep, you can definitely translate it to your language using the provided .po file with Poedit.

That’s the main menu and it is a custom menu area so you can put anything you want there. Is that what you mean?
Ok but in that custom menu area I can put categories? because I need to write a lot of post in a category like you in reviews, in a same page you have a lot of diferent posts.
Absolutely, you can easily put categories into that menu using the WordPress dashboard

Clear your browser cache and that should help.
Sorry but that does not seem to be the problem. I’ve tried it on a few different systems and all come up exactly the same. Slider is fine, Right sidebar is fine, eveything below slider (no images load just loading animation)
Which browser is this happening in for you?
All of them, sorry I thought that was clear above. I also tried on Win7 and Win8 systems.

I’m confused, who is LukeQuietus? Are you having trouble viewing the demo at all? Who’s site are you viewing if it’s on a local install but you don’t own the theme? I’m sorry but I am just trying to understand exactly what the issue is. I just checked my demo in several browsers and it is displaying correctly…

Well perhaps something else is wrong but I’ve tried numerous combinations of operating systems, browsers, and computers. All come up exactly the same. No images loading below the slider.
Sorry about that, with so many support tickets and presale questions coming in every day it’s impossible for me to remember who has said what, and my view of my item comments is only unread comments just to keep things manageable. (Even with viewing all of my comments his comment is actually buried in the second page of comments – I have more than one theme being commented on…)
I just did some digging in my communication with LukeQuietus at the support center. Looks like he got all setup by clearing his cache. Not sure why this wouldn’t be working for you. I’m going to look into it and see if I can replicate on any browsers from my end…
Are you using APC or any caching software on your server? Never mind, I checked the page and if I modify
.noscript { visibility: hidden; }
The images are actually working. Perhaps you need to check whatever your doing to update visibility.
Hmm interesting, so you’re saying you added that to the CSS, or you modified that line to something else? And if so, where was it that you modified it? Did you just make the change in Firebug or something?
IT it seems you have fixed the problem. Those pesky server caches can cause some issues!

As posted by me above (and others before), the slider appears but the images don’t… just the preloaders spinning.
The problem also happened at a meeting with my client over the weekend.
She has an HP computer with Windows 8… she also tried it on Chrome with the same results.
In conclusion:
This is happening on both Pc’s and Macs too.
When will this problem be fixed?
Sorry I had to empty my W3 Total Cache because of some changes I made. If you still can’t see the images, do a hard refresh of your page (command + shift + R on Mac or ctrl + F5 on Windows). Let me know if you still have trouble seeing them. I successfully saw them both on Chrome and Firefox just now…
I just checked again and it seems to work now.
All images are loading on both Mac Safari and Firefox.
