Love the theme so far, couple questions:
1) How can I disable the slider from my blog page? I just want it to show up on my front page.
2) I customized a lot of the css but every time I edit the main logo, background or something through the theme editor, it reverts the css back to original. Is there a way around that so I don’t have to keep uploading my customized css files?

I’m glad you like it. 1) You should just use default blog page then it will not display slider. I think you set the blog page to a special page which should be ignore as default. You should just set home page only. 2) Only the color-scheme/color.css file will be reset base on lib/color_pattern.php when you hit save changes on Great Pearl option page. Because it will update new color when you change the main color of the theme. So if you want to edit the color css , you need to edit directly in the lib/color_pattern.php. thanks!
Thanks for the response. I’m still not sure how to set my blog page without the slider. It’s currently set through Settings > Reading. I have the static front page set to home, but how would I get my blog page to show up without the slider? The template options when editing the page are Default Template and Sidebar Template so I’ve tried both. Just a little unclear on that but otherwise love the theme!

The blog page is not a “Page” . it’s a default category template of a wordpress theme which will show the posts in this category.
I see you added page news as blog page but it’s wrong way. You just need to create News category then add post inside it.
I made changes: 1. reset the “Posts page:” option to empty.
2. Add News Category then add all post to the news category , remove them from the uncategoried category.
3. Replace Page “News” from menu with Category “News”.

I love the template but Im just having a big issues setting up my projects. I love the way the projects are showcased but when you click into an individual project you cant add a gallery or much content into it.
Im trying to have this page 100% width so that I can throw up a gallery. Is this possible somewhere via css?
hello, the single project allow you add 2 sections. one is content sections and one is media section (single image, videos) It does not allow to add gallery for now.

in admin page , you can set index page Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays -> A static page (select below)
in edit page , you can see “Screen Options” in the top right , check the Discussion, then scroll to bottom , you will see Discussion box , uncheck Allow comments to disable comment in this page.

In admin page , you can see Great Pearl page , you can change color in the color tab.
Go to appearence -> menus , you can create new menu and set menu location.
