hello, great theme , congrats!

i’m really thinking to purchase this theme, but i have some pre sales questions first if you don’t mind :)

1) Is it possible to have menu bar fixed on top when scrolled?

2) Pictures boxes in gallery are adjustable? I can see two types of boxes, cube and a wider one which cut part of the picture. Is there any option to have a similar gallery type for example like the one of the “camera” theme?

Thank you!

Hey there,

1 & 2. No, sorry. For 2 you would need the Camera theme instead.

Hey there,

Yes, I suppose, but it would require a lot of custom development work.

Yes so i was wondering about the ebor template builder, if there was a tutorial on it or anything, because everything i try to add to the template and then try to add to the page its self does not show up, and were it says Show in which section(s)? i have no idea what it referring too, scene all i want to do it just add the whole template to the page i creadited

Ok so ive been working on it and still no matter what i do to a new template or add to it it never shows up, i even manually duplicated the one that came with the demo and still nothing is showing up. idk what im doing worng.

i think it has something to do with the filter names but i don’t understand those and the tutorial section of the documents doesn’t really explain them.

Hey there,

Ensure you’re choosing the “homepage” page attributes template (underneath the page publish settings) when working with a page builder shortcode.

Hi,

I’m interested in purchasing this theme for a project. A few questions though. The images on the homepage, do they need to be linked to a post or page? Or can they just be placed on the page as just an image ( not linked to anything)? Also, can the menu be placed below the logo area? Is the background color and footer area easily customized with a different color or texture?

Thanks :)

tommusrhodus

Hey there,

1. Can be placed just as an image.

2. No, this would require customisation.

3. Yes

Thanks for your response. The menu issue isn’t a deal breaker; I’m assuming the customization would be in the CSS? If needed, could you provide me with a fix?

Thanks

tommusrhodus

Hey there,

Yes, css, but no, sorry, I cannot provide this.

Hi Tom – just a quick question about the Google Map in the theme -

Is there any way to make the Google Map respsonsive at all? I don’t just mean in terms of the width of the container div, but I also mean changing the actual zoom level when the screen size changes?

I currently have a problem where you can see the red balloon (for my company building) when you view the google map on a desktop, but when you view the map on mobile the widtf of the div has been reduced and so you can no longer see the Red Balloon?

Is there any fix for this in the template at all? Or if not, do you know of any possible workaround that I can implement?

Thanks

Hey there,

1. Your map is working perfectly, as I said before, ensure you’re actually viewing on a mobile device and not just resizing a browser window, the bubble is centered and in view every time.

2. Your webpage is still 5mb which is larger than my demo at 3mb, strangely you don’t seem to have much image content in your page which would explain this larger size, so check your plugins etc. and that you don’t have redundant content loading in your page builder template.

Hi Tom,

About the map – the reason the original one was changed was to get rid of the black and white, and also to change the zoom level? Is there any way to change the colour of the native map? And is there a way to change the zoom-level? Or do we just have to go into the JS file to do that?

Also – about the loading – the large image has been removed, and it looks at the moment like the main thing slowing the page down is the loading of the 404 page not found image. I have discovered this by using the following analysis tool on this website :

http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/cpyAvI/www.psychiatristlondon.co.uk

Any ideas on this?

Thanks

tommusrhodus

Hey there,

You can edit the JS in /page_builder_blocks/map_block.php for your first points.

Your 404 is coming from an image with a generic screenshot filename, this means it’s not part of the theme, check your content etc.

Hi, This there a possibility to integrate a Pinterest feed into the Ebor Template builder? Or is it possible to put the Pinterest feed below the template shortcut. Best , Jeska

tommusrhodus

Hey there,

Perhaps a plugin would allow you to add this to a text block via shortcode or similar, otherwise this would require custom development.

Hi, It’s working! Thanks, Jeska

Hello,

I’ve recently bought the Greenwich Village theme – it lovely.

I’ve got a couple of questions:

First off – the size of my footer varies across the different pages I’ve got. It looks fine on my homepage, but then is too big across my other pages. How do I reduce the footer size?

Also I’m having trouble with the Ebor template builder. The builder again seems to be working for my homepage, but it won’t let me apply the same template to any of my subsequent pages.

Thanks in advance for you help!

Helen
