GridFolio WP - Grid Based Single Page Portfolio

The exclude comes from the custom settings page and fed into the header where you see get_pages and some parameters. You can override the exclude setting there with your own array of page IDs.

I can’t get too in-depth on free custom work but that will put you in the right spot.

cudazi I saw the link you suggested. I found the class and exclude exclude_tree. I did the following:

I’m a bit confused why it may not be appearing, is it set as the page to exclude in the theme settings area? You can send me an email via my profile with some screenshots or a temp login and I’ll have a look. Try w/o the woocommerce plugin, I haven’t tested with that item and we’ll see if that affects anything.

There isn’t a built in option to switch to RTL but in theory it could be customized, I don’t have a lot of experience with RTL unfortunately.

I did purchase the theme, and so far I really like it. Couple of quick questions…

1. Do I need to create a ‘Home’ page to get Home to appear in the top menu bar? 2. Can I get rid of all the blog stuff to have this appear as a ‘regular’ (non-blog) site? 3. Can I easily put video on this site? 4. Can I change the ‘hover color’ on the top menu – and also, how can I make the current page on the menu stay ‘lit up’ (as it does on the demo site)?

Thanks! As you can imagine, many of the questions will come quick, and should subside once I get moving along

Please read the included _HELP/index.html file in a web browser for all setup information. The top menu will pull in all pages created, and you need to set a home using the custom template to pull in all pages like the demo/help area notes. You don’t need to include a blog if you want more of another section or want to mix-n-match.

Any colors/modification beyond what you see in the demo is a customization, please keep that in mind support vs custom work requests. I’ll try to help what I can but support comes before any custom work suggestions.

I’d strongly encourage importing the sample content and then editing vs starting from scratch, even on a temp install to get the feel.

Hi! My questions was how to force the menu comply with the changes. When a page URL is changed as described by you, the main menu points to the old URL. For example: www.test.com/#go-oldURL versus www.test.com/#go-newURL

You may want to just copy the content out of the page and delete/re-add it, I haven’t had anyone mention renaming issues before, odd.

Hi Cudazi, sorry to bug you (again) but I have two more questions:

1) Where is the code to change the font size and color of the Page Titles? I have found the code to change all of the h1, h2, etc. but not for the actual page titles.

2) Is there a way to NOT have all the pages show in the single page format? I set the home page to be the only page showing on the screen but when i click the nav bar links for the other pages they aren’t linking to separate pages. Please advise.

The titles are based on the base h1, h2, h3, css styles but there are some additional things added via .section-heading h2 and so on. As for #2, it’s designed to do all on a single page but it would be possible, let me know via my profile and I can get you in touch with someone for customizations.

That’s a trouble area with any single page website, it’s a single page. It would need to me manually coded into header.php I would imagine or something – sorry, I haven’t had a customization project like that in the past.
