Hi, Sorry to go this route, but not sure what else to do. I used to be able to put in support tickets for Gridstack via themewich support login that I created through themewich. Now, it’s asking to use an envato login, which is fine, but when I go through the steps, input my envato login info (which is the account that I purchased this theme on), it then asks for approval, I click approve and then there’s a pop up window that says “only clients can register” .... I am a client. I’m not sure what else to do and I need to put in a ticket, please. Thank you!

FYI – when I go to “my apps” area in envato, it does show themewich, but themewich support won’t log me in.

Hi Jenny,

I’m not sure what’s going on exactly. Could you try login in using the legacy system here?

Hi, I recently purchased this great theme. I would like the footer to appear light instead of dark, and when I experiment with some alterations in the html code using Firefox’ element inspector I notice that you have made a class “light” in the css. But I cannot find out how to change the footer appearance – from the class “dark” to “light”?

I found a solution myself – changed the footer.php file. But I guees it’s not a good solution? If the php files changes when you make updates to the theme?

Hi Synke,

You can edit the footer class if you want – if you do this, I suggest creating a Child Theme when you make the alteration.

Then copy footer.php into your child theme folder and remove the

class="dark"

from the footer div.

Hi,

I absolutely love this theme, but I have one question before I purchase. When viewed on a mobile phone the menu button appears as a wide black bar and takes up too much space on a small mobile display. I much prefer the three line symbol as it takes up less space and looks much neater. Is there an option in the theme to change it to a three line symbol icon? If there isn’t currently an option for that, could you add one or update the menu button in a future update?

Thanks, Si

Hi Si,

The mobile menu you see on the demo is the only mobile menu that comes with the theme. If you wanted to switch to a hamburger type menu, you’d need to make some customizations to the theme, or integrate a plugin like Shiftnav:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/shiftnav-responsive-mobile-menu/.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

I love this theme, but updating to WP 4.3 has made the shortcodes not work in the editor. I posted a message on the support forum. Looking forward to this being fixed.

Hi Wexzone,

I’ve been using Gridstack for more than a year now. I never had any issue. And small problems and questions came from my misknowledge, and were always solved. Thanks to the efficient help – quickly and with a smile ! – provided on the support forum.

Gridstack meet my needs, using it is almost effortless for someone who never used Wordpress and with low code knowledge.

Thanks guys !

Hi Bad_It,

Thanks for the shout-out! I really appreciate it! Would you mind if I used your testimonial on the item page? :)

Hi, I have updated to wordpress 4.3 and apparently there has been also an automatic update of Gridstack and now I have some issues with shortcodes. Apparently you’ve given an solution on the support forum but I cannot access the page. I’ve tried to login witn Envato account but it says only clients can register, which I am. Thank you for your help.

Hmmm… not sure what’s going on with the support forum. Maybe Envato changed the API since they launched the new support policy. I’ll have to investigate.

To fix the issues with WordPress 4.3, you can just update the theme. Instructions for how to do that are here:

Let me know if you need any additional assistance,

Thank you Andre! It’s fixed! :) So just to know it for next time, the automatic updating doesn’t work? Will I have to do a manual updating each time? Hope you’ll find a solution for to access the support forum. Many thanks.

Hi MarineCout,

Envato updated their API, so I can’t coded anything to auto-update with the new API. So the next time you update you’ll need to do it manually. Hopefully that will be the last time though since I’m hoping that version with have Auto-Updating fixed! :)
