When i add a carousel on extended with on the (set) index page, it doesn’t work properly. I tested it in a portfolio page and that works, so there is something off on a regular page. Could you look into it/

Regards, Bart

Hi Bart,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

I’d be glad to help with this. Could you explain the issue a little more? I’m not seeing any issues with this on my end. Do you have a link to your site so I can see what’s going on?

I guess I’m double out of luck. When i want to log into the support page it gives me an error.

So I need to continue here..

I havent got it online as i dont want a mistake on my website you see. What happens is the full width is correct, it shows the carousel in the with of the content. the extended width has the full width plus more length on the right side.

What error is the login giving you? Not sure why you’re not able to get in. You can also email me via the contact form on my profile page too as another option:

http://themeforest.net/user/themewich#contact

Is this happening on a page with the default page template? Keep in mind, this page has a sidebar, so the extended width is disabled so it doesn’t interfere with your sidebar content. Extended width only works on portfolios, posts or pages without sidebars. You might not see any sidebar content if you haven’t added any under Appearance > Widgets. I THINK this is what you’re talking about, but let me know if the error is something else.

I’m unable to login to get support – a PHP error results. I’m getting the same error described here – http://support.themewich.com/discussions/edition-wordpress-theme/2751-themewich-shortcodes .

Is there fix?

1.4.2 doesn’t satisfy the checks inside the theme that insist the plug-in be installed. 1.3.01 does. So deleting 1.3.01 and installing 1.4.2 results in the problem described here: http://support.themewich.com/discussions/edition-wordpress-theme/2751-themewich-shortcodes .

Yes, I’ve had the theme for a while so my account may precede the envato login system.

Can you point me to a list of the shortcodes so I can just manually enter them?

Hi Bill,

Hmmm… that’s strange. Did you try updating the theme? If you update the theme, it will prompt you to automatically update the plugin:

http://docs.themewich.com/article/61-how-to-update-your-theme

You can find a few shortcode exacmples Gridstack documentation, but Edition has a more complete list:

https://themewich.com/documentation/edition/adding-content.html

Let me know if you need any additional assistance,

Andre

?Hello,

How to not display the image of th last post last in the header section of the page category ? Exemple : http://sejourauxforges.fr/prestation-demonstration-en-public/

Thank you

Hi Intonaco,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

Do you have your blog page set as your “Posts Page” under Settings > Reading? The category page will automatically use whatever image settings you have set for that blog page.

Hi Just purchased theme and do not see the demo content, how do we access and load?

Hi Paul,

This is because Mexico image on the demo is shorter and wider than the sample image. The theme is designed to work with ANY size image – the image doesn’t need to be thin as in the Mexico example. The image height will adjust to whatever height the original image is so there’s no cropping taking place. If you replace that sample image with a thinner image, the effect will be the same. No need to edit any of the database. The theme only ships with the one size sample image, otherwise the theme would be way too large with all the different image sizes that you wouldn’t be able to install it.

Did you try replacing that image with one of your own? I don’t see the point of replacing all the sample image with ones the exact same size as the demo, because you’ll be replacing them with your own anyway?

Andre

Thanks Andre, When the theme didn’t match the demo, I thought we imported something incorrectly. No worries now I know that the image vary and we didn’t import incorrectly we will go about replacing and refining the theme as per our new design. Thank for your quick response, this is a really nice theme!

My pleasure! Any other questions, be sure to jump on the Support System. I’d be happy to help! Thanks!

Hello,

I absolutely love this theme. I have one issue which I cant resolve myself, hopefully you can help me out. When I imported the demo content. The sample for the portfolio images is constantly loading on the homepage and portfolio pages. My site: illagraphics.com

Thanks,

Tosin

Hi Tosin,

Hmmm… that error has to do with the Envato API. I’m not sure why you can’t get on. I’ll have to investigate that.

What specific issues are you having with images? Did you add the sample images to your uploads folder? You may also need to install and run the “regenerate thumbnails” plugin to regenerate all the thumbnail sizes.

Andre

Hi Andre,

Yes, I did dragged all the sample images to my upload folder under uploads/2015/03. I also installed regenerate thumbnails” plugin on my site with no such luck. The issue I am having with your theme is with the images on the portfolio and homepage they keep loading on my site.

Is there any other solution to resolve this ongoing issue, your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tosin

Hi Tosin,

Can you contact me via the contact form on my profile page? I may need to look at your WP Admin to see exactly what’s going wrong.

I am having some issues getting the filters to work properly for my Portfolio pages. What I want is for when you go to my ” What we do” page to have sub-categories show up: Photography, Cinematography, Multimedia, etc. Then once you select one of those Categories, sub categories appear: Underwater, Travel, etc. Pretty much like what the Theme example shows on the Work vs Illustrations example.

Also, is there a way to change the look of these Category buttons?

Hi Mmakmann,

Did you add a filter category page to you menu? http://docs.themewich.com/article/68-how-do-i-add-a-category-skill-filter-page-to-my-site

These pages are automatically generated by WordPress. The relevant filters will automatically appear on that page.
