Hi there,

i’m still trying to find out how to have html content on the home page rather than an image. For instance I want to paste html in to the text WYSIWYG and have that show as the splash page.

I’ve contacted the forum but not had any replies yet.

Hi, Questions are answered in the order in which they are received. Please be patient, one of our support team will get to your thread shortly.

For anybody thinking of buying this, beware of the lack of support. It’s non-existant.

I’ve been waiting for days for somebody to get back to me.

If you want a good theme with good support, don’t buy this one.

We don’t take kindly to impatient customers trying to negatively impact the sales of our products by posting comments such as yours above.

Out of interest, I’ve checked our support forums to see the status of your thread. Your thread was opened 48hrs ago and received a reply 20hrs ago (A request for clarification). Your was answered after 28hrs.

Your question is very vague and my colleague on the support team needs more information about the code you wish to add before he can answer your question.

Homepage content is not defined via the WP editor on the theme splash page. However the support team could help you to add something to the splash page, but this depends on what you want to add. Some customers want to paste whole 3rd party components into the WP editor, components which contain lots of complex html/css and call external js etc. Such things would not be possible, but for example a caption or a logo image would be possible to place there. It would need to be added directly to the splash page php file, because the editor itself cannot be used.

This is why my colleague has requested clarification about what you wish to add.

Well done you have finally replied to my comment and only because I have written back on the Comments page.

If people buy your products they expect a level of service that one would get with other themes and not have to wait so long. I run a business and need to turn around websites fairly quickly and not have to wait 2 days for a response. And then be sent to a forum where you tell them it cannot be done or will require extra development.

I asked you several times for help . All I wanted to do was write something simple into the text field – How hard is that to achieve.

I’m not out to impact your sales but you could improve them by offering better support and more flexibility.

This these was exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it more than two years ago. I am still flirting with customizations and the support I receive from the staff (Ante and Anand!) is INCREDIBILE. First of all, these guys don’t have to help you with everything, but they do! They go above and beyond traditional support and if you want to completely customize, they’ll do that to for a small fee.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve asked them to help me tweak the theme. And even though I’m sure I drive them crazy, they help me whenever they can. I see hundreds of requests in the queue so I know they’re busy and I value their support to help me continue to grow my freelance business and personal blogging endeavors.

I have nothing but great things to say about this theme and the support.

Wow, thanks for your kind words. Yes our support team work very hard. We’re glad to hear you are happy! :)
