Handmade - Personal WordPress Blogging Theme

I need help. I downloaded this theme and have been trying upload the theme. Every time I try and upload the theme is errors. I’m using Godaddy hosting and wordpress 3.3.1. Please help

I am considering buying this theme, but I have a couple questions first.

Can you change the colors?

Is there any way to put a advertisement banner to the right of the logo at the top of the theme?

Hey Dave, nice theme. Can I be cheeky and ask what script style font you used for the Handmade Theme logo in the header?

I am interested in buying this theme, but I have 2 questions first.

1) Is it easy to make the blog the front page with no htaccess issues? I only ask as I previously had this issue with a theme I purchased somewhere else.

2) Can support help me, or is there already widget positions to have 3 columns? I need main content in middle and 1 sidebar on left, and 1 sidebar on right.

This theme looks pretty! half the time I got to my blog I receive a porn site. YES a porn site! It’s not my web host either, I host many different blogs using many different themes. And it’s only happening with this one. I’d watch out.

I buy this theme i have it here http://www.anishandmade.ro/ but is not looking like in the demo. What is wrong ? The main menu is wrong … the widgets are not working .. i`m disappoint .. I use the manual but nothing, i don`t want to go on the code make corrections. What WP version to use. I am thinking of purchasing this theme but I notice that several people are having problems with it. I also notice that some people don’t get replies for their questions right away, so I’m a little hesitant to purchase.

Also, I have a couple of questions:

1 – Can I use my own colors? 2 – Can I remove the little gold design around my tagline in the top right corner? 3 – Can I remove ‘Handmade’ in the top left corner and use my company name there instead?

Thank you very much, Dave. I appeciate your response, however you don’t say how to accomplish those things. I need answers right away so I tried to register with Obox so that I could post on that forum as you suggested to some people above. But I can’t even register! No matter what email address I try to sign up with, I get an error message that says I need to ‘enter a valid email address’.

So to recap, I am having trouble with the Handmade theme, I need help right away, I can’t reach the author of the theme, and I can’t create an Obox account to post on their forums to try to get help.

In addition to the questions I’ve already posted here and on the ThemeForest forum, I just now ran into another problem that seems to be common with this theme. When the Handmade theme instructions say ‘Portfolio’, do they actually mean ‘Gallery’? I cannot find the word ‘Portfolio’ anywhere on my dashboard, so how can I follow the directions for creating a ‘Portfolio’ if the instructions are telling me to find something that does not seem to exist?

Under “Creating a Portfolio Page”, the instructions say ”. . . select the Portfolio List option which is on the right hand side under Page Attributes-Templates”. But there is no ‘Portfolion List Option’ on the right hand side under Templates. There is only Default Template, Archives, Full Page, Gallery List, and Widgetized Page. This is just one example of the problems I am having in trying to follow your instructions.

Also, I cannot change the order of the tabs on the home page. I go into the area to change the order of the tabs, I input a different number, but the order of the tabs doesn’t change.

I was so excited to buy this really cute theme but I am beginning to regret this purchase

I was afraid this would happen. I’ve already bought this theme, and now I can’t seem to get any help. I posted the above questions 4 days ago, and still haven’t gotten any assistance. And I can’t log onto the oBox forums because there is some kind of issue with that site.

The last several comments swayed my decision not to purchase..thanks lol. Not into themes that make it a pain to ACTUALLY customize either.

Could you send me some screenshots of the admin area, so I can see how many options are available without having to dive into code? How tedious would it be for me customize it myself.

I have sent you several emails. Have you not received them? Could they be in your junk mail folder?

The lady who does my clip art has suggested that I ask for a refund as she says this theme seems complicated to work with. I really like the theme though so I hesitate to give up on it just yet.
