Is there a WordPress version coming? Its a great looking theme.
Sure, we will realize it within next month. Just follow us on twitter please to be updated.
Any reason why it doesn’t function the same in IE as it does in Chrome? I’m noticing that some of the css doesn’t translate well. For instance, the slider transparency, and the layer… after clicking on the top plus sign … doesn’t show completely.
Any thoughts?
The main reason is BECAUSE its IE!!! Not all the css effects works fine in IE browsers (especially in IE7 and IE8 ).
BTW didn’t you check it before you buy the template?
Thanks for the response!
Yes…however, I thought that it’s rectifiable through code, since you state it’s compatible. The weird thing is that I see the blurred transparency when I set the slider position to 20, 20:
div class=”Slide” data-position=”20,20”
BUT …whenever I use any other position, IE leaves it clear, while Chrome preserves the blur transparency no matter where the position is.
Author…you may want to remove this from the item page!
“Crossbrowser Compatibility IE 7 +, FF 3 +, Opera, Chrome, Safari”
Since, as you stated, it’s evident that the template doesn’t function properly in IE 7 !!
Can you please provide me with a link to your website to take a look at it?
Actually, I found out what was happening…
It turns out that IE’s capability mode was checked by default (I’m using IE9 ) and it was conflicting with the selectivizr-and-extra-selectors.min.js plugin.
Once I unchecked it, the site looked and worked as it should. I’m building out an Intranet for my department using the theme, and it looks like everyone uses IE with the mode enabled…thus the frustration. I’ll just have to make sure they run a script to disable it before our launch.
Thanks for a great theme!
A quick note for IE users and developers to make sure they disable the capability mode before enjoying this awesome theme!
Thanks!
Hey ThemeMakers, I want to buy your theme and I very much interested in this.
I want it to be customized and built up in DOT NET with a CMS as well. Please let me know will it work well. Secondly, will this theme carry the images also in the package? I want to get the images as well with the theme. Please let me know ASAP , because i am really looking forward for this.
Thanks, Anushri Tayal anushritayal@outlook.comHi Anushri,
Can’t see any difficulties with building it on any CMS . Re the images, they aren’t go with this template, but you can purchase them from photodune if needed, links to each are included in template’s help documentation.
Regards,
Alex
Hi Alex, Thanks for the info! Can you pls brief me with what all will be provided to me with the theme.
Thanks, Anushri
1. HTML5 /CSS3 Template (html/css/js/php/image files)
2. Template documentation
3. PSD files
Question…
Any idea how I can… if I even can…make one of the slides on the homepage a video player? Can I simply point it to a video and use one of the CSS classes?
Any help would be great! Thanks.
Hi efpeters,
Unfortunatelyany of that sliders doesn’t support video embedding.
Regards,
Alex
We bought the theme only to find all of the images that were demo’d with the theme have “WATERMARKED IMAGE ” stamped all over them.
Do you know where I can buy the stars image that is features in the product shot?
You’ll find the full list of images which were used there with their links where to buy in a template’s documentation file which is also included in main archive with the theme.
Hi,
One of the elements provided with this theme is a toggle, and I’m trying to set an anchor point so that it toggles open upon a trigger from the nav’s sub-menu.
Here’s what I want to do:
I want to create a sub-menu link that goes to a page which uses the toggle element; BUT , I want the sub-menu anchored/bookmarked to a specific part of the toggle element so that only the specific “toggle-container” expands.
Right now, if I set an anchor to a specific “toggle-container” and link to the container (page.html#anchor), the toggle element doesn’t expand.
How would I do this? I’m sure there must be a way…just not entirely sure how.
Any help is appreciated!
Hi efpeters,
It will work for you if you add an ID to your memu item, which is the same as anchor from that toggle.
Regards,
Alex
Hi, There is a display bug on safari mobile (iphone/ipad): on the contact page, the phone number isn’t displayed (but the same page is ok on chrome mobile for instance…). Could you please fix this issue? Thanks for your great theme.
Hi ooznext,
Oh, yes, thanks for your notice. We’ll fix that asap.
Regards,
Alex
Hey Alex,
PLEASE NOTE : for the sake of illustration, I’ve removed the html tags in this post.
I tried your suggestion with the ID tag as an anchor point where I’m using the toggle element…
a id=”mgmt” /a Management Services
Then, in the drop down menu, I used the following href tag:
li a href=”divisions.htm#mgmt”Management Services /a /li
While it did scroll down to the section on the page, it didn’t toggle the element open…the user still has to actually click on it.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I create a new css, or is the ID anchor point you’re talking about the other way around? Perhaps I need to find the “onClick” and ad the id there??? Thanks.
Hi efpeters,
Unfortunately we can’t support all our customers on their custom things. This feature wasn’t in our template, so we can’t assist you with this.
Thanks for your understandings,
Best regards,
Alex
For some reason, the hover animation over portfolio items (in non-IE browsers) is erratic. The icons swing into view, but then leap off to the left, as opposed to staying in the center.
http://www.michaelhildebrand.com/clients/Happiness/portfolio-4columns.html
If it is not fixable, can you guide me to how to remove the animation? (so the icon will just appear as in IE)
Thanks. Love the template, other than that.
- Michael
Hi Michael,
Yes, your right, just checked it. For some reason it only happens if you use chrome on MAC , there is no any problem for Windows. We’ll try playing with it and then we’ll let you know.
Please follow us on our Twitter feed to be always notified with any news/updates for our themes.
Regards,
Alex
Thanks for your reply!
For the record, it happens on Chrome on Windows 7 too (that’s what I’m using). Haven’t checked Firefox.
I’ll follow you and watch for a fix. Thanks, again.

Ok…I’m confused…we changed the color for the hover state in the service-list css of the style.css file, everything changes correctly when you open the site locally, but it keeps showing the dotted color with #FFCA00 when pinged through http…
The funny thing is that I can’t even find that hex number ANYWHERE within the CSS ….
What’s up with that?
UPDATE :
Solved my problem…it’s a catching issue with the browser. It catched the bg-service-list-active.png file with the old specs.
LESSON LEARNED : Delete your history!
Hi efpeters,
Glad you managed that problem.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
Regards,
Alex
Ok, so…it looks like we’re running into issues with the style.css file load. In some instances the CSS doesn’t load fast enough, or not at all, so we’re not able to see the presentation of the site as it was intended to.
For example, in IE and sometimes even Google Chrome, we need to refresh the site to kick-in the style sheet. The overall presentation works as it should, but there are instances such as the fonts from the .page-title that do not always load…any thoughts on this?
BTW , Opera and Firefox seem to work fine. Could this be a caching issue?
Hi efpeters,
Could you please provide us with a link to your website. We just need to check it before any suggestion, because our demo works well for each browser.
Regards,
Alex
The main reason is different browsers. These effects work not for all of them(I mean browsers), because most of template’s effects are used css styles, but not scripts.
I understand…the problem has since gone away. Very strange.
I noticed that in the contacts page you placed a google map and created a id css for map…how do we customize that map to include our address? Is this a factor of simply updating the google map script withing the footer? If so, any examples?
Hi efpeters,
Sure, simply open a file named custom.js and scroll down to the Google Maps, there you’ll find an address you have change to.
Regards,
Alex
Awesome! Thanks Alex!
