Hello before I purchase this them would I be able to use the following in the slider to make an interactive slider:
<iframe width=”425” height=”350” frameborder=”0” scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0” marginwidth=”0” src=”https://www.google.com/maps?layer=c&sll=30.295564000000002,-97.742798&cid=3197905328954905731&panoid=HnlPk0l2VnG77nfqdpV5Ow&cbp=13,247.97,,0,0&q=toyjoy&ie=UTF8&hq=toyjoy&hnear=&ll=30.295564,-97.742798&spn=0.006295,0.006295&t=m&cbll=30.295636,-97.74282&source=embed&output=svembed”></iframe>
Google maps frame don’t work very well within responsive features. You can replace this with a maps image which won’t use the jquery of maps. I’d recommend getting in touch with a developer if using google maps api
Hi, can Helm manage multiple portfolios?
Yes. You can have unlimited portfolio items in as many categories you require. You can also have an unlimited number of grid style portfolio listings provided in the theme to showcase you portfolio items.
I noticed the related posts in the portfolio, Any plans to add related posts to the theme
Hi kemrich, I’ve noted your requested related blog posts feature to upgrade notes. Thank you
I purchased your product last night and I am having errors when trying to upload my theme to bluehost.
I’ve tried to go to your support page but I don’t know where to find my “Item Purchase Code” ?
Please use an FTP application when uploading the theme. This is the best and recommended method which will ensure all files are uploaded. I’ve provided upload instructions on Help Guide.
Extract downloadpack which will contain a zip file called helm.zip
Extract helm.zip file and copy the folder to wordpress /themes/ folder. It will appear similar to /themes/helm/
The helm folder will contain screenshot.png and style.css ( to make sure you’re uploading the correct folder )
Once done this will be a complete upload. You can head to wp-admin and activate the theme. You can contact your webhost if you don’t have FTP upload information.
Thank you SO much!!! I didn’t realize there was a .zip inside the .zip!
Question before buying: When adding custom sidebars is it the case with this theme that:
1. A custom sidebar can be then added to individual pages/posts via page/post editor?
Therefore a whole site could have maybe 10 sidebars shared across 100+ pages, thus keeping widget admin area cleaner and easier to use when adding widgets to those sidebars?
Thanks in advance.
1. Yes custom sidebars can be added from pages/posts editor. You can add custom sidebars from theme options.

I’ve been trying for 2 days now – posted a question a couple days ago + trying every combination I can think of of embedded video codes, etc – and I can’t get this to work.
I guess it comes down to the simple question in the topic/subject title – Video playback in lightbox – are self hosted videos supported or not?
Self hosted and embedded videos are possible in post formats. It’ll be visible under the Blog – Videos listing from Menu
The portfolios support video embeds.
Could you provide me url, i can check where its going wrong and give an accurate solution.
Thanks for the quick reply…to be clear:
Are self hosted videos supported for portfolio thumbs or not? ie, when portfolio pages display several thumbs, can viewers click and view ligthbox videos of self-hosted videos (i.e., not from YouTube/Vimeo, etc)?
Great theme…Thank you!
Self hosted videos are currently supported in Video post format as seen listed under the Blog list. You can check it from the Menu – Blog
Portfolio lightbox uses popular lightbox plugin prettyPhoto. It doesn’t support self-hosted videos currently.
Self-hosted videos are in ways simpler to implemented in code, but most codes go into handling browsers that don’t support HTML5 which require fallback mechanisms. I’ll take note of this as a request.
I’m not having success trying to create a 3 or 4-column footer as in the samples for Helm. What do I need to do? There seem to be several single column (1, 2, 3, 4) and a double column footer widget, but none for 3 or 4.
Simple drag and drop method to footer widget areas will work to populate footer sections ( wp-admin – Appearance – Widgets ).
Do make sure footer columns are enabled in wp-admin > Options > Footer section.
If these didn’t work then i’d need to check your site url to give an accurate solution.
Thanks for the response. Which “widget” should I use to have 3 or 4 columns in the footer. As mentioned, the ones I see all say “Footer Single column 1, 2, 3, etc).
Aha! I figured it out! for 3 columns, drag a widget to Footer Single Column 1, a widget to Footer Single Column 2, a widget to Footer Single Column 3, etc. Kinda confusing, but it works!
Thanks! Great theme!
Brilliantly intuitive modules. I haven’t had to look at the help guide.
And, of course, wonderful design!
Won’t think twice before buying any of your themes
Thank you for purchasing theme and for the encouraging comment
Like ur theme.
I have several questions
1. Single portfolios in ur demo are all horizontal images, but most of my portfolio are vertical. How this theme handle verticall images on portfolio and single portfolio?
Portfolio images in single will work fine as portrait or landscape images.
In portfolio thumbnail galleries the portfolio images are resized & cropped to display accordion to the thumbnails sizes. To give more control over the how the thumbnail is resized there’s an optional thumbnail field where you can supply a different thumbnail than the one to be displayed in the lightbox or single portfolio page.
