I am planing to buy this template for our website. But before that i have a few questions:
1. I want to use a slider (full screen preferably) to replace the current image. Do I need to make any modifications to fit the slider in? Also, which slider you suggest.
2. Timeline: Do you provide ajax code to get data when “load more” is clicked
3. Icons: Are more icons provided in the template, than the ones being used here. If not, where can i find icons that match the design?
This is an HTML template, so if you want customizations done to it, you need to have a good knowledge of HTML/CSS. So:
1. You can add absolutely any slider you want, as long as you know how to implement it. A good fullscreen slider would be: http://codecanyon.net/item/slider-revolution-responsive-jquery-plugin/2580848
2. No, i don’t provide any kind of AJAX code related with the blog..
3. No, the only icons are what you see in the preview.. A matching icons set would be: http://iconsweets2.com/
PS: If you don’t have good HTML/CSS skills to modify these, you could wait for the WordPress version, which will include a slider, an ajax blog, and much more icons. It should be launched sometime next month..
Pre sales Q:
The timeline feature at the bottom. Are these just separate images portrayed together to give it this look or are they functional? I.e. can I easily add my own text, video links etc?
Is there any Javascript involved in the timeline. I will literally be purchasing the theme as really like the design you have produced for the timeline.
Thanks
I don’t quite understand what does your first question mean.. Are you asking if the entire timeline is made up from images instead of html blocks? If yes, that would a crazy idea
No, the timeline is editable, and you can add your own content to it..
There is no js however, so to make use of the “Load more” button you would have to do some custom coding(in case the timeline is not enough for you)..
Or you can wait for the WordPress version, in which all of these will be solved!
I’m using the portfolio function where the slider unfolds from the main section. It’s working fine in Safari and Firefox, no issues at all. But when I try it in Chrome, it just expands and then immediately collapses.
My console says the following:
Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL file://macintosh%20hd/Users/ryancurtis/Desktop/themeforest-3622581-hexagon-creative-responsive-one-page-portfolio/templatefiles/index.html from frame with URL https://www.youtube.com/embed/iBnC5kMzPwA. Origin null is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin. index.html:1I’ve tried using other iFrames besides Youtube and it still doesn’t work. I have not hosted the site yet, I’m just testing locally. Even so, it seems odd that the functions would work fine in Safari and FF but not Chrome. Any suggestions?
You need a local server to test this theme(written in the description of then template). It uses AJAX, so it can’t run on a local environment, only in an online one or in a local server such as XAMPP or WAMP.
FF ans Safari and better browsers so that’s why they accept bugs
Thanks for your help. I got this working. But, I’m having another problem now. I’m trying to use @font-face and when I attempt to implement the new font, it is completely throwing off the site.
Am I not able to edit the h1, h2, h3, etc without it disturbing the functionality of the site?
Please use the support forums for any kind of issues.. Post links there:

I bought the theme trying to use the code for hexagon so I dont have to make all the images in hexagon shape. but I couldn’t figure out how it’s coded. I dont see anything in css. was is it in js? Please help.
Yes, it is in JS, because it’s Canvas(html5)..
Check this support ticket: http://rubenbristian.ticksy.com/ticket/24780
Hi, some pre buy questions:
1. In the portfolio, is it possible to have a lightbox or something so I could click an image and view it bigger? And can the images auto
2. Can I mix Image-video projects?
3. Does it support mp3?
thanks!
1. Not without custom work rewriting the portfolio engine.
2. Yes, you can put iframes in the slider as well..
3. By default no. But you can implement an mp3 plugin yourself..
If you like the theme but do not have the knowledge to do these tweaks you want to it, i suggest trying this service: tweaky.com
Hello, I love your theme. But please, could you help me with implementation it into php? For example you are using very nice efekt for portfolio slider. Unfortunately it is not possible to make from the pages project-slider.html, project-image.html dynamic php versions. Problem is probably or for sure in javascripts which are written only for static version of the files. Could you please give me a tip where to change js to make that portfolio slider dynamic? I am in a big trouble now… Thank you.
I am sorry, but i do not offer customization services for the theme.. You say it is not possible to make dynamic php version from the html files, but of course it is possible. You just need to know your way around coding, so if you’re a good PHP/JS developer you should have no issues. If not, you should hire a freelancer to help you out..
Oki. At this time I am on the way to do it. We have decided to program it separated to default js scripts of this theme. Never mind. Design is nice. Thank you.
Hi, I want to use portfolio function in team page. Please help. onclick team member, member details page should open same as portfolio page open.
You need to edit the javascript.. I do not offer custom work for my themes as written everywhere, so i suggest you try this service: tweaky.com
ok thanks, I kept as it is, now I am trying to use shadowbox for some of projects in portfolio. but it is not working. can you help me with this?
All the support is driven through my support forums, so i’ll kindly ask you to post a ticket there(and post a link to your site please, so i can see the error)..

Hi, I wanted to know the update on the wordpress release. I’ve held out in anticipation for a Mid-March release…
Thanks
Unfortunately, i haven’t got the proper time to spend on the WordPress version, so the development will be delayed with a month..
is this a definite? I’ve been holding out since the initial release….
Yes, this is definite.. I promise
any update?
Yes, the WordPress version will definitely appear by the end of the month..
Is it releasing today???
No, probably in a week or so..
Really? OR SO?
I’m sorry mate, but i cannot provide exact deadlines for you. Just wait until you see the item here..
Dont worry about it….my fault on the frustration. Wont bother again.
Hi there,
I’m thinking of purchasing this theme, it looks great! I was wondering if the Hexagon masking can be turned off for portfolio items/thumbnails. It looks cool, but it may not be suitable for all designs. I’m most interested in your theme because of it’s architecture. Great stuff!
Yes, you can replace those hexagons with circles, with a bit of custom work. There’s a ticket on my support forum which shows you how to do this(it takes just 5 minutes of easy css/html changes).
Hello!
Just bought this theme for my site, very good job.
I was wondering, how do you think is the best way to get a blog with comments into this theme, maybe I could integrate them into the timeline somehow, or just create a separate part of the site with the blog and comments?
THX for the great theme again!
Hi
Thanks for your feedback!
On your question, you should definitely use an external site for a blog with comments.. I will release the WordPress version of this template in a few(2-3) weeks, but it won’t feature a mighty blog with comments, since it’s outside the concept of the theme. Yes, the timeline will get posts from the blogroll, but they will be simple posts with a bit of text, like in a news feed style.
Hi,
Looks that in IE10 the side menu not working properly, it displays the list items inline. Got any fix for this?
Thanks.
Coming from the PSD version comments area…, good to know there is an HTML conversion. I already mentioned it over there: Nice color combos and hexagon shapes. Might come in handy in a future project.
I added this item to my public 1PAGE & PARALLAX collection: http://themeforest.net/collections/1888154-one-page-parallax
Good luck with sales!
Thanks for your great feedback!
Quick question – I’m using IE 9 and the live demo page http://demo.krownthemes.com/?theme=hexagon&type=0 doesn’t seem to load properly – the ‘Home’ layers/images do not appear, you just get a spinning circle (tested and works fine in Chrome though).
Reloading the page does not make any difference. Any ideas?
I’ll look into this issue and try to find a fix! Thanks for the heads up!
Hi there, have you had a chance to look at this yet? Thanks!
Hi there! Nice work, beautiful design.
Sorry to bother you… but any news about the wordpress version? I show it to a friend/client and he got crazy about it… I buy the PSD, then I see your post about release the wordpress version by the end of the (last) month…
thanks,
The WordPress version is work in progress at the moment, so it will be released within the following week..
i can assume its still not here
