We have received some good progressive guidance from you earlier. After a refresh-reinstall with help from you stuck on something: (will benefit all upon your solution)
We are using the HOME REVOLUTION -> Recent Project & Posts Home Page. All is rendering as desired great on front summary page. However,
a) The Detailed page (upon clicking) on a Recent Post – DOESN’t show the NEXT and/or PREVIOUS Nav Buttons.
b) This shows up simply fine on the Recent Projects detailed more!
This is similar to your DEMO, http://demo.megathe.me/higher/revolution-version-2/
where
a recent post (http://demo.megathe.me/higher/starsurf-2/) in our case is not displaying NEXT and PREVIOUS btns.
Can you just point to the code and file(s) or anything in the menu system to ensure this shows up?

I would like know if is possible to create differents “simple page” to show only one category of each one.

Hi, it isn’t possible without modification to the theme.
No problem, if you tell me what I should change…I could creaute news templates to only one category. I think that the PHP that I will need change is POST-PORTFOLIO.PHP, isn’t it?

Hello there, I bought this theme for a client and they want a slider like on the default template, how do I get that type of slider up? I can’t seem to see where the Royal Slider options are? Ideally she would like six images under one big one, any idea how I could do that? Advice much appreciated! Kind Regards, Henry

Navigate to Appearance > Theme options > Royal Slider where you can create your slides.

Hi, I recently purchased this theme as part of Envato’s 2013 mobile bundle. When I go into theme options there is nothing there. I’ve tried reinstalling and it still doesn’t make any difference. I’m guessing the problem is that the theme from the bundle is Version 1.0.7 and the latest version is 1.0.9
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Already have. Totally reinstalled everything including WP. It seems quite possible that it’s and issue relating to WP updating, but having an older version of the Higher theme.
I followed zigstum, wiped the site and created a new WP install manually rather than use Fantastico. Works perfectly. Thanks for a great theme. Will we be able to get updates to the theme since we bought it through the Envato pack? I only have V1.0.7

I am in the same position as rliego. I have tried to run optiontree as a module in ‘theme-mode’ but when I add the lines to the functions.php including the ‘theme-options.php’ it causes only a blank screen. I can see the options are all defined in the ‘Theme Options UI’ page, but when I look on the theme options page it is blank. I’ve done as much searching and reading as I could before posting this, any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Please note these warnings are from LayerSlider plugin and not from our theme.
I noticed that you have already added the lines to the functions.php making ‘optiontree’ a modular install. I deleted the install and started again, following the install guide, but unfortunately, still no headers or options on the “Appearance>>Theme Options” page. I deliberately tried with 3.5 the default install with my web host and with 3.5.1’. What was the most recent WP version did it work okay with? I notice the page is not displaying the ‘New Layout’ button as directed in ‘functions.php’. It’s an amazing package, I’m really excited to get this going

Have followed your suggestion: delete wordpress install and database. Install wordpress with fresh database, update to 3.5.1, do not activate/install plugins, install Higher theme (zip upload), check options page and still empty. Will keep trying to find the problem. Cheers.

Fresh install: using softalicious, installed 3.5.1 upload higher folder and activate-> options page working! install and activate plugins -> options remain

Hi. Hoping you can help. Not much of a coder I’m afraid. I am trying to change the formatting of the h1 tag so that the font is a larger Century Gothic and not bold. I have tried all the usual means using the editor but it won’t work. Can you advise where I need to make the changes?

Sorry, one other thing. I am also trying to change the highlight colour of the links. When I do so using the theme options, it changes the colour of the links in the body and header but not in the widgets/menu? Can you also advise on this?

Thanks for your continued support – for your info and other users info – the Wordpress plugin PlayPress seems to break the theme audio player on content-audio pages.
Easy to work around or use another plugin though.

Beautiful theme. I’m wondering if you could point me to the code that changes the navigation into a dropdown menu as the browser size shrinks. I’d rather just have my menu items stack, as I only have a handful of them. If you could point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful.
