Hello, 2 things before purchase…
1) Will I be able to change the top header color to WHITE ? my logo wont look so great on color background.
2) is it fully responsive?
Thank you for the interest
1. There is an option to change the whole header color, as you can see on the demo when you use the style switcher. If you need to change the top part of the header only, this can be accomplished with a small CSS addition – we can provide instructions about this on our support site.
2. It is not responsive, but we have tested it on mobile devices and it looks and works well on them.
Is there a way I can create 2 separate Portfolio pages, each with their own set of portfolio items which don’t show up on the other page?
We have launched a dedicated support system where all the Pexeto items support is handled, so we kindly ask you to use this system to post your support questions:
P.S. You can refer to this article we have created.
Is there a way to have a left and right sidebar on this theme?
The theme doesn’t provide such kind of option and some more coding will be required in order to accomplish this which can’t be explained just within a few steps.
If you have any other questions, I would like to ask you to use our dedicated support site here:

no update since a few months now, is it really optimized for wordpress 3.3 , such as defered css load and javacript ?

On the portfolio page, can i make it so that when someone clicks on the picture, it takes them straight to the page rather than enlarge the image?
It will be great to have “Page-List” on the sidebars when a page has the sub-pages underneath itself.
Like this: http://www.telogis.com/services/infrastructure/
Sub-pages of “Services” are listed nicely on the Right Side-bar. It will be great to see similar Widget for your theme as well.
You can accomplish this with the theme – there is a Custom Menu widget in WordPress which allows you to show a custom menu with whatever links you like, so you can add the subpages to a custom menu and assign the widget to the sidebar of the page. You can see an example here.
Yes, I understand that. But the idea is to show that list differently as seen on the reference website link. The sub-pages beautifully co-align with the parent page and it gives the page a great look. It will be great to have the style elements to display the pages like that. It’s just a suggestion for improvement.
I understand now, thank you for your suggestion – I will keep it in mind for the future updates of the theme
Thanks for your kind reply. I see that Pexeto based themes have very rich administrative functions. It will be great if you can also provide Live Demo of the Admin functions and pages too. I’m not sure if this is really feasible but It will still be a nice idea to experience the admin functions live.
Thanks for your suggestion We have already recorded a video about Pexeto Panel and also have included screenshots in our themes demos, so I think this should be enough for the users to get an idea of how the panel looks like.
I would like to use the theme on my best/testing server during the setup and fine-tuning stage wherein we’ll write the content for website, design custom images and pages before we go live. Obviously the production website will only go live after everything is setup. Once the setup process completes, the theme will go online with the website which will be a live production URL . The beta server URL and the production server URL will be different. Does the theme license permit this scenario ?
I’m not really sure about this – the license terms say that it is limited to one application only, but nothing is explained for this particular case. I think it should be okay to use one license, as soon as it is for the same website and will represent the same content, but if you want you can also contact the ThemeForest support and ask them about this, as Envato sets the rules.
Thanks for taking to reply my queries. I have bought the Highlight Wordpress theme just now.
I hope you will enjoy working with it
I have a customer who is interested in using the Highlight theme. He doesn’t want to use the slider.
However he wants to use a static image on all pages, not just the Home page. Reviewing the theme features, I see that I can define multiple sliders for different pages.
Can I use a static image on all pages, in addition to the Home page? Can I use a different static image on every page of the Wordpress website?
Yes, you can – for each different page (including the Home page) you can have a different static image
Hi – I just recently bought one theme from you and am thinking of buying another today.
1- Can you tell me if the sidebars can be coloured differently than the background, so that it will will standout from the background of the page.
2- Do you have stock social icons that come with the theme.
3- Is it easy to build a staff page and a question and answer page; are their templates for that?
4- Are there examples of others that you can share to see what they have done ?
thanks again - J
Thank you for the interest Here are my answers:
Great theme. I have a questions after looking at your demo.
1) Can the header where the logo goes be white and the bar below remain coloured?(clashes with logo) Can I change the height of the bar below logo area?
2) Can I have separate blogs on separate pages where each one displays 1 or 2 categories of my choosing? Press release page shows press release posts and Speeches page shows speech posts based on categories?
3) Can I choose right or left sidebar with Quick Gallery? Is there a bulk gallery import?
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme Here are my answers:
1) By default the theme supports changing the overall color of the header (as you can see when you use the style switcher on the demo), so if you would like to apply different colors, you would have to do it with CSS (with one CSS addition). The same applies for the height of the area below the logo (we can provide some instructions on our support site).
2) Yes, you can.
3) Yes, you can. And regarding the other question – if by saying “bulk import” you mean “bulk upload” – yes, the quick gallery supports a bulk upload.
—I have one question on this theme. Is it responsive? I cant remember if i asked you that question. if i did – I apologize Thanks
The theme is not responsive, but it looks and works well on mobile devices.
On last thing: Can you have more than one Page for photos or is the photo page ongoing as you add more photos? Thanks again, Julian
If you are asking about the gallery or showcase page – they both support unlimited pages, so you can create different pages with different photos.
i recently bought this theme and am trying to get the navigation looking right on my iphone. the top navigation overlaps itself and bunches up. I love the theme, just need to fix that. thanks Julian

I have a prob. Might be something pretty minor, but if you go to my site on a mobile phone you will see the site is cut off by a white bar on the right.
Hi, pre-purchase question: Is amount of cathegories in PORTFOLIO GALLERY limited? I mean “ARCHITECTURE – IMAGES – NATURE – PHOTOGRAPHY – VIDEOS”
Love this one!
I’m glad you like the theme
There isn’t a limit on the number of portfolio categories – you can create as many as you like.
I really like both this and the Dandelion theme and am thinking of purchasing one but am put off by their use of Timthumb. My site was hacked I suspect through a Timthumb vulnerability. I know there are some alternatives to Timthumb but is it possible to use them instead with these themes?
At this point Timthumb doesn’t contain any known vulnerabilities, indeed it used to have a vulnerability about two years ago, but it has been fixed by the Timthumb team and also our themes include a stable and secure version of Timthumb. Otherwise, if you still prefer not to use Timthumb, you have a couple of options – first, every section of our themes that uses Timthumb provides an option to disable the resizing and use the images in their original size, so you can just upload the images in the size you like. Also you can implement other resizing scripts such as Aquaresize, with a few modifications – we have included a function that retrieves the Timthumb resized URL, so if you want to apply another resizing functionality when retrieving the image URL, you can just edit this function instead of going trough all the files that use a resizing image functionality.
Many thanks for this. And I’ll remember to post in your forums next time
