Hi, I’m having trouble when i upload. I’ve unzipped the theme folder and zipped the site folders (separately) and tried to upload them but get the following error for both….

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

Have I missed a step? Do i need to name a file ‘style.css’?

What are you trying to upload the theme to? You’re not trying to install this as a Wordpress theme are you?

It’s well underway, and I would love to see it launched before the end of December. I guess it depends on how urgently you’ll need it, but I’d say it won’t be too long a wait.

Hi!

I am assisting kshackett on this project and we both absolutely LOVE the template. We have quite a bit of urgency for the wordpress version, because we need to get the site up and running as soon as possible. Do you have a more definite timeline of when it will be launched? We would love to use this theme, but we may have to look for others if it isn’t available relatively soon.

I would say that the Wordpress version will probably be about ready for release in 2 to 3 weeks.

However, if you’re keen to get your hands on it earlier, perhaps you could get started with a pre-release version. If that interests you, send me a message through the contact form on our profile.

Pricing is determined by ThemeForest, but the average Wordpress theme seems to go for around $35 to $40.

It’s a separate purchase to the site template, so no, it doesn’t come for free if you’ve purchased the site template.

Hi neilbo,

The comment form is provided as a styled page element—there is no underlying functionality included. This is because this is a static HTML & CSS template; no database storage is included.

I understand this isn’t necessarily clear from the product page, so I will fix that up and clarify it now.

If you want users to be able to comment on posts, you could integrate something like Disqus (http://disqus.com/) or use a standalone script, like this one on CodeCanyon: http://codecanyon.net/item/commax-ajax-comment-system/

Alternatively, you can use the Wordpress theme, which gives you full blogging / CMS functionality, including commenting and a full database in the backend.

I love this theme – best wedding theme I’ve seen and I’ve searched about every one there is.

Question – how do I switch to one-page layout, as shown in the demo site. I like that better but can’t figure out to get to it in the wp admin. Thanks!

The one-page layout is a feature of the HTML site template, not the Wordpress theme. We’ve only included it in the demo for the site template. Sorry for the confusion!

It is possible to use the one-page layout with the WP version, but does require a bit of custom work. I have sent you an email.
