Hi,

My site www.malandscapeanddesign.com the sub menu is not working right, you can’t click on the sub menus… The footer is not getting the columns if you put more than one widget they will be only in one column

Current theme’s release (v.1.4) doesn’t work well since jquery out it’s new version and some other issues inside it. We decided to make an update for this theme and re-do it from scratch using new html5/css3 standards and our new framework, where would be a lot of possibilities. We’re really sorry about our current theme version, we do not support it because there is no necessary we thought. But I’d like to announce that new theme version is about it’s new release and will be available for downloads this week! Thanks to all of you for your patience! So sorry for any inconvenience with this theme’s first releases! Thanks for understandings!

Ok, will I have a way to update the theme without have to do all the work again?

Thanks to johnbabko He resolved in a very short time the problem from long ago no one could help me with the footer, comments and tabs. i recomend to ask him.

Downloaded v2.0!! Great. Now how do I retain settings from 1.4? I tried switching themes, but lost all of my formatting and shortcodes seemed all screwed up.

Please advise!

As I mentioned on our support forum new theme is incompatible with the old one, and you may loose some data if reinstall it. That’s why you’ll need to reinstall it from scratch using a new database.

HOLY WORDPRESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO!!! 68.4 HOURS OF FORMATTING AND WORK GONE ?!?

I need a vacation. I need a therapist. I need a break.

That’s disconcerting, Alex. Though I understand, what’s a guy to do then? It’s like starting from scratch with a new theme. This begs the question, do I invest any more in Horizon, or is it time to switch to something more stable and with forward mobility upon updates?

I need a drink.

I’ve uploaded a custom backround for my horizon theme but it wont line up properly on different browsers and different size screens!

Does anyone know what code i have to change to alter this and where is it located in the stylesheet?

I want to center the image with no tiling?

Your help is much appreciated.

How do you set the home page? All is see in your documentation i show to set homepage stle sidebar etc. but where do put my html or choose my page for the home page.

Nobod has answered anything in your forum in 5 days.

It’s just default wordpress thing. Simply go to Settings -> Reading and pick your page to be shown as a front page.
BTW this week we’ll update the theme documentation, so there will be extended video documentation.

Alex – Thanks, Yeah. I figured that out after I posted. Keep forgetting about that new WordPress thing of Settings-> Reading -> Static vs Posts… Got it.

Hey. Another thing that’s boggling me is in WordPress Menus for Horizon I can’t seem to find the ability to add “POSTS” to the Menu. I’ve got the usual Custom Links, Pages, Categories. But no POSTS ? I’ve seen it here before! ?

Looking forward to the documentation and the videos.

Though I’m disappointed I don’t think you had the nice rounded top container for the slider as you did on the first version of Horizon. That was a nice differentiator — everyone has rectangle sliders, but THAT was different.

1. please check your “screen options” in menu nav, there should be a checkbox for posts.
2. yes, we had to remove that rounded frame in our new theme version. We may return it in one of our future theme updates.

re-downloading fro themeforest gives me a cyclical fille that keeps creating a copy of itself in the mac 10.7 environment, anyone else experience this?

I also cannot update the theme within wordpress backend, can you thememakers please advise on where I can find a proper download file for this, the themeforest one is not working for me and I still have not been able to update since your sept 19th release.

Can you please try again to download the main archive from your “Downloads” tab? You may didn’t finish downloading it. Then please unpack it and there you’ll have another archive with the only theme named horizon.zip.

Hello, good theme here but I have some problem and one question.

Footersidebar: When I put widgets in the Footersidebar it get dissordered. Widgets get on top of each other instead of side by side. Any idea?

Can blodsidebar be customized or can it be on the left side?

I just downloaded the new version and imported the dummy.xml file to set up my website again. For some reason the nivo slider and the gallery are messed up. I need to set up my website again as soon as possible, please help me with this issue.

I have it in a temporary folder in my server until its set up properly, here`s the link

Hello Alex,

Actually no, what you did is suggest for me to take a look at your screencasts on how to set up the slider, but you did not respond where these screencasts can be seen. And although this might help me set up the Nivo Slider again it does not solve the issue on the gallery, as I said before the gallery items appear on top of each other, also the search icon is under the menu bar.

I would appreciatte it, if you could please take a look at the link i sent you and provide me with support that is a little more elaborated if possible.
