the latest package I released 2 days ago has a fix for the contact form php file. Now it works fine, so if you didn’t download the update, download it. If you have the updated file probably the modification you made to the script is causing the problem because the contact form works fine, you can try it on the preview.

You can enlarge the message text area only within the limits of the layout, if you try to make it bigger obviously the ecdeeding part will be hidden and you won’t see anymore the grabber.

yes, just redownload the package.

For the textarea I don’t think there is a way to disable the resizing, it’s in any case something that not all the browsers support.

thanks. Open the prettyPhoto/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js file and at the beginning, where you see all the html markup structure, replace this part:

gallery_markup:'<div class="pp_gallery"> \

with this:

Be sure to delete only the gallery markup between the quotes, don’t delete the quotes or anything else.

the background images and all the other images are not included for copyright reasons. In any case, you can’t do much with the illustrations, are simple jpegs.

there are images on the background in your version, maybe you didn’t see them Open the contents/back_grounds folder and check the images used for the light and dark versions.

Hi,

as a first operation I would fix all the paths like this one in every html page:

../contents/portfolio/photography/images/02.jpg

The ../contents refers to a superior level that doesn’t exist on your server. Edit the paths to match your actual folder structure.

I am so so sorry for you having to take the time out to look into this, I solved the issue and am very very embarrassed to admit that i had mispelt a prettyPhoto folder thus causing the whole site to melt down.

I don’t know if there is any js widget/script for dribbble that can load the feed and show the updates automatically (like the ones for twitter).

To make it non automatic is like adding an image and a link, so yes… in that way is absolutely possible

I’ll check around to see if anyone has made something like this in js, unfortunately the widget I made for the WP version is based on php, so it can’t be reused here…

can I set the Slider on Autoplay? I’m thinking to set the Slider as home.. that when I visit the page that it automatically plays

second question for the thumbs on the slider, can I make them appear automatic aswell?

at the beginning of the html pages of the galleries there are some js settings, the one you have to set to true to have the autoplay is this one:

var pk_gallery_slideshow_auto_start = true;

To automatically open the thumbnails check my latest comment on the first (previous) page of the comments

the Flickr integration requires a back end and a lot of php development, so would be very hard to be implemented in a static html template.

I don’t know why you’re liking more the look of the html one, considering that is the same template

Maybe the background feature that comes with this? The WP one is so much more easy to maintain, starting from the Flickr feature as you’re saying.

If you tell me what you find more appealing in this I can see if I can do something to make the WP one appealing like this one.

ok, thanks for the quick reply, there aren’t big differences, just small things

so what’s different in the html version

• the home page from the html one
• the light skin from the html one
• the sections seem more compact, the WP one has taller sections like in News, Services and Contact
• the logo placement seems to be better to me
• the loading line is on the bottom of the browser, instead in the image like in the WP one
• the html one has no drop shadow on the images, the WP seems to have a slight one
• and yes the background feature

• dribbble integrated on the home instead of “Latest News”

the markup seems right but I need to test the real page, not to look at the markup. Check your images paths, are they really there? In ../contents? Not in the same folder where the html pages are?

I need a link to the site itself, then I could say something more helpful

no, isn’t possible to rotate images in background, only one is allowed. You can use any page as home page, this is a static html theme, just make the index.html page like a gallery page or just rename a gallery page to index.html… don’t know how to explain it better, there’s nothing to explain

In the gallery pages, at the beginning of the html code, there are some js settings, you will easily identify them. Check for the auto play setting and set it to true instead of false.
