Is it possible to change the theme folder /themes/icemagtheme to a new /themes/mynewtheme/ folder?
Thank you for purchasing the iceMag Theme It’s always risky to change the theme name. You can do it on your own risk. To change it, you will need to change the directory name and then edit “style.css” file. At the top of that file you will find theme name is also there. You should change it along with the directory name.
I’m having trouble logging in to the support site. I would like to know how to add a mobile ready phone number to the header to the left or the social icons.
Thank you for purchasing the iceMag Theme. May I learn what kind of difficulties you are having while logging into our Support Forum? Because I don’t see any registration information with your username.
My username for envato has changed. Do I need to register for support using my new username?
You can try that ofcourse If you have any issues while trying to register with your new username, you can email me your old username and Purchase Code by using “Email XanderRock” field here ;
Great, I’ll try that then. My old username isn’t working even when I reset the password.
I want to post youtube video but I want to show the video after my post, not video first then my post.
Then I want using Featured Image on Index of my site, so before visitor click my post link, they only see a few text and feature image.
how to do that?
Thank you for purchasing the iceMag Theme As I understand you need to set a featured image first. Then make your post design with your content. When you want to display a video inside the post make sure you have wrapped it with required container. So instead of adding your video in the Video field, add your video insite the text area. You can use our Support Forum for further questions
Ok XanderRock thank you very much, I will try This theme very clean, I love it, but I’m sorry XanderRock, before I buy this theme I’m using nulled version for testing
safe to upgrade to wordpress 4.0 ?
It’s always good to ask We are waiting for a few plugin we’ve used in iceMag to be updated to Wordpress 4.0 as well. After that we will release a new version of iceMag which will be compatible with Wordpress 4.0
Any update to be compatible with Wordpress 4.0 ?
We are using “Option Tree” plugin as a core system. And according to the their description it’s not yet 4.0 compatible. However we have tested some features with 4.0 and it seem to work fine. But because of the developer of Option Tree do not add 4.0 compatibility on the list, we can not guarantee that it will work for everyone. You may want to try it on a test server first. But like I said, in our tests we didn’t see any issues with it. It was just working fine.
I have purchased the theme but after importing data and following instructions the theme doesn’t show as is in your preview. Can you please assist me?
You were claiming you have purchased the iMenu and installing it according to the documantation along with the WooCommerce. And it seems like you have purchased the iceMag Theme. Those are different themes iMenu is a restaurant theme more like an app. iceMag is a multi purpose Wordpress Theme. As I debug your site, I see there are missing files on your server. You must upload all of the theme files to your server in the correct directory. May I ask if you have uploaded the theme via FTP or via Wordpress UI?
Two little questions before purshasing…
- dropdown navigation is hard to handle with touchscreen. Is it a way to replace hover effct with “onclick” event ? Or other way to be really touchscreen ready ?
- what about Wordpress 4 compatibility ?
Thank you for your interest on iceMag Theme iceMag only supports hover effect for menu. There is no setting to change it to click. As for Wordpress 4.0, we are waiting for 3rd party plugins used in iceMag to be updated.
I am buying this theme and have only one doubt, the demo is included sliders ?
We have included the slider demos. But there is a premium male character (licensed) image in the slider and it’s not included.
I’m currently looking on buying this theme for a big new project. Only hold-off is some of the icons are not retina ready. Are you addressing this issue in the near future?
Thank you for your interest on iceMag Theme. iceMag is not Retina Ready. Thus it doesn’t support retina icons.
hi is it possiable to add woocommerce support to this theme?
iceMag is not WooCommerce ready. You can see the WooCommerce supports at the right sidebar of each themes details.
safe to upgrade to wordpress 4.1 ?
Wordpress 4.1 brings changes on the Text Area (TinyMCE). We are using “Option Tree” plugin for our core details and waiting for it to be compatible with Wordpress 4.1.
Hi i have some problems with home page i can make to look in other languages can u help me in this issue i try to lunch this site long time ago thanks
Thank you for purchasing the iceMag Theme Did you try to use String Translation in WPML?
Do you recommend to use the envato wordpress toolkit to update ? i have an email today from your theme
We haven’t used Envato Library for updates as it may cause some issues time to time. But you can ofcourse try it. If that won’t work for you, you can download the theme files and upload it manually via FTP
Where do I edit the homepages text
“iceMag Multi-Purpose WP Theme supports both Boxed and Fullwidth layouts!
iceMag is a fully responsive theme which fits in all popular browsers and devices such as tablets, phones, macs and computers”
I apologize but I must have stumbled past it a million times!
Thanks for buying iceMag Theme Can you try to go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Home Details”. There you will see the Text Area of “Home Business Shortcodes”. You can find the promotion box shortcode there. If you add “title” attribute in that shortcode you should be able to see your text. You can also find all of the shortcodes and details in the help file
I have 2 details: Notice: Array to string conversion in wp-includes/class.wp-scripts.php on line 155 and File contains suspected malware URL: icemagtheme/option-tree/readme.txt
The error details refer to wp-includes (WordPress) main directory. A WordPress update may be failed on your site. We are using the latest version of WordPress and iceMag on our demo and we haven’t seen any of these issues. Btw, may I learn how do you get this malware errors? Because readme.txt is just a text file with details of Option Tree.
Thanks, it´s from wordfence plugin
That readme.txt file is just details file of the Option Tree. You can delete it if you want. I think WordFence sees it suspicious because it’s just a regular text file. And for your other issue, can you give me a link to your site so I can check that better.
How do I change the background colour behind the text on a page?
Thanks for your interest on iceMag Theme I’ve also saw your email. However, neither here nor on the email, I’m not able to see your Purchase details. If you have used another account when buying iceMag, can you use that account. If you have used this account while buying iceMag theme can you email me your Purchase Code? That way I can be more helpful
