Hello, I’m still tuning my site after purchasing and applying the theme. Kudos on the use of font awesome set for the social menu icons; adding those was a breeze. A few questions:

1. When I navigate to the blog page of my site (http://zionspokane.church/blog/) the title of the page in the red bar (under the logo) is the title of the most recent post in the blog. Is there a way to make that say “Blog” instead of the most recent post title?

2. On the home page (http://zionspokane.church/) in the Recent Posts section the meta data under each post image includes the number of comments. I would like to remove that number of comments and comments icon. I’ve unchecked “Show comments count” in the CT-Posts widget settings but it still shows up. Is there a way to remove the comments count? I’ll post this question to the ChurchThemes support site as well; I just wanted to check if you could help.

3. On my homepage, under the slider I have the words “To Release the Glory …”. I would like to change the color of the background behind those words (but not behind the Recent Posts section). Is that possible? The words are part of the homepage body so are between the Top and Bottom widget sections.

4. When I embed an image in a page (e.g. http://zionspokane.church/blast-childrens-ministry/) and try to align it to the right of the text it always ends up with no alignment (the text is only on the top and bottom of it and the image is on the left of the page). The image will appear properly aligned in the page edit Visual window but on the live site page the alignment is gone. Is there some theme css that is overriding the img alignment? Is there a way to force the image to the right in the page text edit window?

I appreciate your on-going support. Thanks, James

Hello, I deleted the blog page completely and recreated it and Blog then appeared as the title. Not sure why it didn’t work before but all is well now.

Great to hear that

I’m having an issue with the site not sizing correctly when viewed on a mobile. It only occurs when I use a logo in the header instead of the logo-text. This problem was reported by user Annakai a month or so ago on this forum but viewing that users site now (http://www.allthatswing.at/) it appears to be sizing correctly even with the logo. I didn’t see a resolution in the replies to Annakai’s comment on the issue but am hoping that you know what is causing the issue and how to resolve it. My site is zionspokane.church. Thanks for all of your help. James

Hi,

for example on page http://zionspokane.church/podcast/ the responsive issue is caused by long link

Ah, thank you. I’m pretty certain that the other pages not being responsive is caused by an html table that I manually inserted so I’m fixing that. So, my problem, not yours. Thanks again for your help. I greatly appreciate your responsiveness and willingness to investigate. James

Hello

I purchased this theme and need to know how to change the background to custom image. I dont see a setting for this. Only see preset for patterns.

pragmaticmates

Hi,

you can do that only by adding your custom CSS into style.css

Hi,

I have a problem with pagination on the blog page (page-blog-right). The pagination looks ok (/blog/page/2/, /blog/page/3/, etc.) but no matter which link I click always the three most recent posts are shown. Any idea on how to fix this?

Cheers

pragmaticmates

I gotcha you. Tested default blog displaying and not page templates.

Thanks for report

Hi, I cannot get the site to display in Boxed format. I went to Appearance—>Customize, and clicked on General, and selected Boxed from the Layout drop down menu. I clicked the Save & Publish button, and nada. It still displays as wide format, and only wide format.

Also, The text widget I put on the home page is displaying completely to the left with no padding whatsoever. Is there a way I can bump the text widget over?

Many thanks :)

pragmaticmates

Hi,

unfortunately I’m not able to replicate boxed issue on our demo site. Regarding the text widget I’m not sure what you mean. Do you have public URL?

Thanks

Hi, me again: we made our logo smaller, but the problem persists on Ipads. We also got a Google Alert, that we have 39 issues to fix regarding mobile visiibilty, but I cannot determine what the are exactly. (picture sizes too big or links, we also have not used tables in the content etc). Do you have a perfect size for the image content to be used as article images and also for the slider images, so the autoresponsive works best? Thanks for your help, Annakai

pragmaticmates

Hi,

probably code for which you asked in your other comment will help you.

Is this theme Google search ready? Mobile-Friendly Test friendly? we own http://www.asimpleclick.org and we don’t want to mess something this pretty up while we make sure we show up in Google correctly!

pragmaticmates

Hi,

theme is responsive. We are not aware of any functionality which makes theme not searchable by Google.
