Additional information from Siiimple:

Hey there!

Good support is important to me, and I want to help as much as humanly possible. The quickest way to get help is to provide me with basic details of any issue and wp-admin login details in order to quickly investigate any potential causes. So to review:

1. Basic description. 2. wp-admin login credentials.

And help is on it’s way

Thanks! Justin

Common WordPress Installation Issues

Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to get the Mega Menu working?

First thing to be sure is that you’ve installed the plugin :)

Then, after activation, make sure to choose go to the PBK Mega Menu Options, choose “Gray”, then press “Update Options”. Once that is done, go ahead and add some menu items.

Make sure to read the documentation for the Mega Menu that will instruct you how to divide up all the columns, shortcodes, etc.

Hope that helps!

How to create home page, not have a blog as front page?

First, this is documented well in the Illuminate documentation, so if you need a reference, it’s all in there.

First thing to do is create two pages, the one page with the Page Template chosen as “Home Theme”. The second page is whatever you want to name it and you do NOT choose a Page Template. This is the page that you will use to display your blog items.

Second, go Settings > Reading > then select a static page. The static page will be your “Home Theme” that you created. The Posts page will be the blog page you created.

After that, you will see the Slider activated, as well as the tagline, and the home page that you see in the demo site.

Hope that helps!
