I can’t turn the fullscreen slideshow off on my blog style page – even if I toggle the option off it still appears and is frozen so the top of my blog page just shows that it’s loading. Is there a fix?

I’ve just purchased this amazing theme, and I have a couple of questions:

1. Is it possible to set the default value of “display fullscreen slideshow” to off, when creating posts?

2. When using the [blog-posts cats=”x”] shortcode, is it possible to show more than 4 posts? Would be cool to show all posts within a category, with pagination. Or just 8 perhaps

Oh and one more thing. When i view the theme in IE8, it doesnt show the featured image on the blog. Any thoughts on that?

Love the theme. Only big thing with it is that it’s not completely IE8 compatible. Top menu get screwed by spacing issues. I have posted a support ticket on http://bookofpixels.com/support/ 5 days ago but it doesn’t seem any support is given.

Love the theme – my only issue at the moment is that my site now seems to move very slowly – in particular, the load time on the home page or “First Byte Time” as http://www.webpagetest.org refers to it. My site is http://goodpeoplesurf.com and we do have the caching plugin Supercache installed. I spoke with my server (Rackspace) who thought the problem may have to do with there being a lot of re-write rules within the WP setup or how it relates with this theme. Has this speed issue been a factor for anyone else on here – Any suggestions by PixelBook or other users are greatly appreciated!

Where do I find the xml file for the demo pages? There are no .xml files in the Immersion download from Themepress…

Annoying that others can’t reply to these posts, but for anyone wondering, to find the purchase code, go to the ‘Purchase Confirmation’ email you received from ThemeForest. Click on ‘Licence Certificate’ next to the ‘Download Your Purchase’ box. This will download a text file with your purchase code in it. Hopefully this will save some people from pulling out their hair like I did!

Support on the themeforest page is NON-EXISTENT, so don’t bother posting here as this member DOES NOT provide support through this page anymore.

First off, the theme is great. One minor thing:

Is there any way for the thumbnails on a gallery/portfolio page to control the images directly above it? At the moment it opens an overlay rather than load the thumbnail you click on.

Would much prefer it to control the gallery rather than using the white dots.

Unless: You’re a top-notch developer who doesn’t need any kind of support. There is none offered on this page (which they’ve made clear in the ‘support tab), but some tickets on the support page are going on 42 days unanswered.

There are far better themes out there for both support and functionality. I just wouldn’t bother and wish someone had warned me before.

The support sucks and the template is a rip-off! XML-file for importing images and content is broken (wrong URLs) and you won’t get no help from the support.
